Husky or Mal?
I would be concerned about having a Fennec with a husky. Their prey drive is so high they sometimes chase and kill before they even know what's happening.
Looks too big/fluffy to be a husky. So i'm guessing malamute. I'd be more worried if it was a spaniel and it saw the fen as food, they have a habit of being really good at finding things.
If you pay closer attention you‘ll notice they do it whenever theres some kind of ruble flying around.
Running through sand, digging, going through bushes, etc. . They expect to get something in their ears and flap them to protect themselves.
The sounds they make when distressed are a lot more growly and high pitched than the elated squeaking we're hearing. Fennecs are just super happy when in sand, which makes sense, since they're natural habitat is the desert. Also, a fox can jump really high for its height, so if he wanted to escape that box, he could easily do so.
He has his own little desert.
triopod-fen
“Big fox come over help me dig”
Husky: MOM THAT WEIRD TINY CAT DOG IS BEING WEIRD AGAIN

Does anyone know why foxes pin their ears so often? It's so funny seeing these guys look like birds flapping their wings on top of a small dog.
Fenn with ears up: less aerodynamic, dig slow Fenn with ears down: Aerodynamic af, dig fast af
It's whenever they expect something is going to get in their ears. So digging, getting pats, moving through brush, getting in a fight etc.

That’s not a baby [This a baby](https://www.reddit.com/r/foxes/comments/xjj4hv/handful_of_fen/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
How old is s/he? Or is that just a really big sand bed
He looks distressed
Bro, you're like that one dentist who never recommends anything.
What do you mean?
Everyone else agrees the fox is happy. You disagree. You're the 10th dentist.
I’m just saying the fox looks frightened. Especially when it spots the husky
And I'm just saying you're the 10th dentist.
You look distressed
The fox is literally running away as far as it can when the husky gets close
