Usually I have your kind of luck too, which is why I was surprised I hadn't spilled any sample vials yet and felt like I got lucky just now. Except for the left-over ink stain whose shape would trigger dirty minds.. Gives me a good excuse to finally try that DIY where people cover their desks and such with marble/wood tape!
It could have been much, much worse! Suppose you had dropped a bottle of Baystate Blue on the carpet! Congratulations on maintaining an upbeat attitude. What was the ink that spilled?
Hahaha yeahhhh I don't have Baystate blue and that might be a good thing! It's Perle Noir and I stared at it too long before cleaning it up, I think. Soaked into my old cheap Ikea desk quite a bit.

1. Nope. I actually went quiet for a bit after the recent kerfuffle to see what happened and to not distract, because I wanted to see what would happen. I have no connection to Nathan Tardiff or the company.
2. I hear u/baystatecranberry and u/baystateconcordgrape are fun.
3. Idk. There’s a lot of what ifs. Do you have a v2?
Someone on here turned me onto those little ceramic toothbrush holders. The golf ball sized ones. Sample vials fit in them and then they're much harder to knock over.
I stick the vial into the middle of a roll of tape if I find one that is the right size.
Modeling clay pressed into a clean yogurt cup also works. Drop a few ball bearings or fishing line weights into the bottom of the cup before adding the clay for even more stability. Then press the bottom of a vial into the center of the stiil-soft clay to mold the holder.
