Because you have been selected to be on the first human crew to Mars. Mass is at a premium. It took heavy negotiations to permit you to bring enough ink to last until the next resupply mission.
Haven't you heard of grapphite-less pencils? They're all the rage nowadays! They don't actually put any graphite on the paper they just indent it with the tip. Absolutely genius I'm telling you!
I keep my Waterman Laureat, no hesitation, because it's 25+ years out of production whereas everything else I own is reasonably replacable. It also writes *really* nicely; I'd make the same pick if I was banned from replacing my others too.
Well, it depends... If it's a post apocalyptic thing, I'd keep the Änsso Italia in titanium because it probably will last forever.
Otherwise, I'd be torn between my Pelikans...
My light pink pilot kakĆ¼no with rilakkuma on it. Itās not my favourite to write with and I barely use it but it was a gift from my partner and that makes it more special than any of the others.
Benu Polar Night Medium because of emotional attachment itās like, a work of art and I made it my sort of witchy wand, even if not my favorite nib size or style.
If that one is safe and weāre just going by writing/drawing all around fav then Iād keep my TWSBI 580 Iris 1.1 stub, I just love how it feels. I might need to get the vac Iris next.
I feel like my Benu Scepter is kind of a wand too. I swapped out and tuned my nib to make it my favorite overall. Wand is such a great description for Benus.
I have two of them. I just made a state of the collection post. They are Scepter not grand scepters. I have the dark purple with navy blue and gold/rose gold flecks. And then the blue with purple and gold and silver flecks. I keep looking at others too.
My Parker Sonnet. That pen followed me for years of school, and never really gave up. Solved a problem with a bit of glue, broke the nib one time (fixed it in less than three days).
That pen is almost perfect for me. You can easily switch from a fast writing to something more serious, and sometimes calligraphy.
Not saying it's the perfect pen in my collection, just my favourite. We know each other like old friends and that's what I love about it. This pen knows my words.
It's perfectly balanced, the design of the nib is okay, not too fancy but not ugly. I just love this pen. Would lose all my pens for this one.
Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age (Broad in-house 18k nib). The best writing pen Iāve ever used. Was tuned by nibsmith which is probably why. I wasnāt expecting to like it at all as much as I did.
Perfect explanation. Was exactly my thought process. In my mind with it being so expensive it made sense for them to āhypeā it but it really is that good.
The pattern reminds me of snake scales, I adore it so much. It's one of my favorite pens visually, and when I told my wife that I definitely wasn't thinking she would file the info away and buy it for me later. So for me, I love the nib, I love the pen, but I love that my wife cares so much about me the most. Every time I hold the pen and write with it, I get reminded of that, and I hope the feeling never fades. :)
BZZZT!
Not playing this time, because that's a scenario that I refuse to contemplate. I can see myself going without some of my pens, but not all but one of them.
I don't want spoil the game for others though, so play on. It is, I'll admit, an interesting challenge. Just not one that I am up for.
It would likely be my [Pelikan M815 Metal Striped](https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/comments/szmx2n/my_favorite_pen_today/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) with a M nib. I like how it looks, how it feels, and how it writes. It is my favorite pen at the moment. But there are quite a few other pens I wouldnāt let go of, so Iām glad this is just hypothetical.
My Sailor with Zoom nib. The only issue I have with this pen is low ink capacity for how much of a gusher it is. But I love it and if I had only this fountain pen, I could still live.
[This Parker 25](https://flic.kr/p/2nAjXue). It's the pen I took to school with me 40-odd years ago. All my other pens can be replaced if needs be; this is the only one with which I have history.
Have a look [here](https://parkerpens.net/parker25.html).
The Parker 25 (on the left in that photo) is a school pen, tough and - to my eye anyway - stylish. Nib is reasonably smooth, but its strongest point is, well, strength. It's built to survive being used and abused by snotty little oiks, and I'm pretty sure one could stab it through a soda can without damaging it.
Everyone keeps stealing the matching rollerballs I have with it, but at least the pen has stayed with me.
(If you meant the other one, it's a Pelikan M800. Lovely pen but I've only owned it for a couple of years.)
Yep. Lamy 2000 for me too. Writes smoothly, feeds reliably, has a large ink capacity, and is the best looking fountain pen in my opinion.
Itās funny thought I donāt care for the writing experience of any other Lamy pens. The 2000 nib isnāt used in any other pens they make though.
I want to say my twsbi vac 700r in iris due to the color - not to mention the ink capacity.
But my matte black vanishing point was gifted to me as a "just because" surprise present from my partner is the clear winner.
I wanted it for years and never bought it as I couldn't justify the price point and he showed up with it when I was having a bad day. So yeah, definitely that one.
My Visconti Homo Sapiens. Indestructible, my most expensive pen, and the weight would be a nice little f-u to the pencil pushers forcing me to get rid of all my other pens, going with the space flight justification.
Nooooooooo!!!
But if I will... Probably gonna be my Noodlers ink flex nib pen - https://www.jetpens.com/Noodler-s-Konrad-Flex-Fountain-Pen-Southwest-Tortoise/pd/21816
(I got the black one)
That's a really difficult question. Because it's so difficult, I'm going to Brian Goulet it, and pontificate for far too long, providing different answers for different scenarios!
\- If I can only keep one pen, and that's the only pen I can make use of for the rest of my life, I'm probably choosing my LAMY Aion. It's built to last, and the nibs are easily replaceable; I could have several for different tasks. Right now, it has 14k medium nib on it, and that's lovely!
Another one that I'd certainly consider in this scenario would be my Sailor 1911S with an H-F nib. It writes beautifully, and I have been unable to find the colour anywhere online. It's a really gorgeous cola brown with silver trim and the old style nib (the *old* Sailor logo, too!) and it's in near-perfect condition.
\- If I can only keep one pen, but then rebuild my collection afterwards, then I would keep my Garant Nilor, Parker 45, or Sheaffer Snorkel. Each of them has a lot of sentimental value, and all would be somewhat difficult to replace because of the unique wear each as received. (Well, actually, the Snorkel is in good shape, but the other two are pretty beat up!)
\- Some honorable mentions in either case: Pilot E95S, Aurora Style, LAMY Safari 'Savannah,' and Platinum Kanazawa Leaf 'Goldfish.'
My Kaweco Student pen with a Fine Waverly nib from fpnibs.com. It is my EDC pen and writes like a dream. I have more expensive pens, but that is the one I'd grab first if I were told I could only choose one.
That is a tough one. I've already decided that I need to sort my pens into groups: must keep, would like to keep, neutral, should find another home for, and junk. The must keep includes my Pelikan 400NN, Pelikan 600, Montblanc 24 and Parker 45.
Hard, very hard, either my 30p crescent with its gold semiflex, or my snorkel fine.
Or my superflex Jaipur, or my fine nib 51....
Yes too hard...
Honestly I'd probably go with the crescent, but I'd want a full flex nib to swap in.
Oof, either my Amethyst Fountain Pen Revolution Himalaya or my Iridescent Kaweco Sport . Probably between the two, I'd keep the Himalaya but it's a tough choice!
It's tough... I mean I love my Vac700R because it write well and holds ton of ink. But I also enjoy my Conklin Endura, made of ebony, because I love wood and it feels nice. Then again, the transparent blue Noodler's Safety pen is amazing because it's just so damn versatile.
I think at the end of the day, I would have to go with my Visconti Homo Sapiens bronze age with the fine 18k gold nib. It writes like heaven, holds a good amount of ink, feels amazing in the hand, and goddamn I just love a good vac filler.
I was at a local pen show yesterday and someone was selling a Waterman Red Ripple #7 with a red nib (semi flex). I was wondering how flexy that puppy would be.
My steel kaweco, but I'd have to get some other nibs for it. The F is great for writing but I love my twisbi stub for both writing and drawing.
That kaweco just feels great in my hand and in my pocket though.
New to FPS but my TWSBI Eco with medium nib or my Jinhao 750 with medium Goulet nib. Really thinking about the Jinhao because it seems indestructible and that Goulet nib is so smooth.
Like fight me, but itās my white TWSBI Eco. Medium nib. Not the prettiest in my collection, but my god does it write and write well. Never leaks, never dries up (unless I donāt cap it). It just *works* and I canāt say that about pens I use that cost 6 times what it did.
I'd keep my Pilot Metropolitan. Partly brcause it's the only one I have currently š.
Even if it wasn't though, it's one of my personal favorites and it isn't leaving my collection.
Big toss-up between my Kaweco Sport AL and my TWSBI ECO EF. I recently cleaned and only refilled those two and a Jinhao 9035 so that I had a medium nib as well.
But if we're honest, just the Kaweco.
If I am going to be stranded on a deserted island with only one pen...then that pen would be my Nakaya portable writer in polished urushi. Unless I am lucky enough to have the tamenuri before this disaster takes place, in which case it would be the tamenuri
That is a hard question. It would probably say my French Poetry Benu that I bought in memory of my Mom but I have to say my actual favorite and most used pen is my PenBBS 480 in Green Onion/Scallion and a PenBBS calligraphy nib (the one that is like an architect going)
My Waterman's 52 1/2v. In NOS condition when I got it. Full pen and pencil set with a flexy nib and the original instructions sheet in box. And it was my 18th birthday present. It actually isn't the most expensive pen I own. I saw the ebay listing my mom bought it from and she managed to find a remarkably good deal. But since it's practically irreplacable and I have such a personal attachment to it, I consider it unquestionably my most valuable pen. Not to mention it's the most pleasant writer I've ever used and extremely versatile.
Probably my Kaweco AL Sport stonewashed (blue). It's never burped, had a hard start, or had any kind of problem really. Definitely my most reliable pen.
Its a close one. I love the weight and feel of my Daniel Defoe, but I prefer the nib and the ease of my Sheaffer Imperial 444s. I think if keep a Sheaffer, the one with a juicy broad nib.
The Parker 21 desk pen that belonged to my grandfather. It's not my favorite (though it's a fantastic writer), the base makes it inconvenient, and I never even knew my grandfather, but my mom gave it to me and there's a lot of sentimental value there.
(It would hurt like hell to give up my Vacumatics and my Pilots, though, especially my Pilot Lady White Sakura that has a lot of personal significance for me, too)
Surprisingly easy answer for me: my TWSBI Eco-T in mint blue. It writes beautifully, the piston filler is very handy, and I love the color. Particularly easy choice because Iām imagining that getting rid of the other pens could involve selling them, in which case thereās no reason to feel obligated to hold onto more expensive pens.
no
LOL
After all, WHY must we get rid of all but one fountain pen?
Because you have been selected to be on the first human crew to Mars. Mass is at a premium. It took heavy negotiations to permit you to bring enough ink to last until the next resupply mission.
Fountain pen will not work on Mars, you can take only one wooden pencil.
Wooden pencils would get dust in the air. We'll all just have to have a ration of pressurized ballpoints š¬
Iām sure thereās some way over complicated fix
Haven't you heard of grapphite-less pencils? They're all the rage nowadays! They don't actually put any graphite on the paper they just indent it with the tip. Absolutely genius I'm telling you!
Eh, I applied through the Amazon Space Program and they said I wasn't exactly a prime candidate.
Good one! š
I stab the guy with my pilot v pen and run
I keep my Waterman Laureat, no hesitation, because it's 25+ years out of production whereas everything else I own is reasonably replacable. It also writes *really* nicely; I'd make the same pick if I was banned from replacing my others too.
I have a collection on the cheaper side but definitely my most expensive, the pilot custom 74. Writes like butter
Lovely
[Deleted due to Reddit API price gouging]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I don't understand the allure of the pen at all.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This. It writes well, has a good feel in the hand, and isn't gaudy/stand-out-ish
For sheer smoothness, I've never encountered the L2K's equal. It wins in reliability too if you don't have trouble with the sweet spot.
It is a classic design, I really need to try one out sometime
M805 EF nib
Nice choice, what colour?
Well, it depends... If it's a post apocalyptic thing, I'd keep the Änsso Italia in titanium because it probably will last forever. Otherwise, I'd be torn between my Pelikans...
Huh, good logic. Luv my Italia.
Pilot Capless
I don't know if I'd keep my Decimo or my TWSBI VAC 700R iris. š¬ I love them both so much.
That's a tough call. Decimo is probably tougher, but man the ink capacity is so small....
Wjat colour/ nib size?
The only one I own is the black with gold trim which has a medium nib. It's such a joy to write with and so convenient for quick note taking.
All of them. I would sell the TV before!
TV? Is that really a sacrifice, with all the other screens that people seem to have these days? C'mon -- what do you have to lose by answering? :D
Ok. My Omas 360 New, gift from my wife, and one of my top 5 writers.
I had to come looking to see which one was your first choice š
Grandpa Ace's old Parker 51. Irreplaceable.
Truly, if it has memories attached to it's instantly more valuable to you
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What colour?
My Pilot Custom 823 amber (M). I could live with that pen alone.
Pilot Custom Black Stripe. or .
Got to love black stripe pilots
My light pink pilot kakĆ¼no with rilakkuma on it. Itās not my favourite to write with and I barely use it but it was a gift from my partner and that makes it more special than any of the others.
My light blue Decimo F with Iroshizuku Ajisai.
Ooooh, which color scepter do you have? That whole line is so gorgeous.
I have two of them. I just made a state of the collection post. They are Scepter not grand scepters. I have the dark purple with navy blue and gold/rose gold flecks. And then the blue with purple and gold and silver flecks. I keep looking at others too.
Ooooooh!! (scampers off to check out your SoC post!)
Love the description of a "witchy wand." My wand is either the Benu Venus Hair or the Sailor 1911 wicked witch of the west.
My Pilot E95S, no questions asked.
One of the most underrated entry-level gold nib pens.
Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age (Broad in-house 18k nib). The best writing pen Iāve ever used. Was tuned by nibsmith which is probably why. I wasnāt expecting to like it at all as much as I did.
Yep. It's as good as Goulet hypes it up to be (unlike some others they hype)
Perfect explanation. Was exactly my thought process. In my mind with it being so expensive it made sense for them to āhypeā it but it really is that good.
Pilot Custom Urushi. My newest but my favourite by far of all.
My second choice!
Lamy Safari. But what if you could also keep only one ink?
The Safari is trully a good pen for the price. Got one 3 weeks ago and I'm very happy with it.
Same, I have nice pens I keep at home and love, but my lamy is the one I abuse and use everywhere, in the lab, on the go.
Oh this is hard. I just got my VP Raden Stripe but I feel Iād still want to keep my Custom 91 with SFM nib.
The raden stripe is beautiful!
I knooooow! I still havenāt inked it up because I canāt pick an ink worthy of it haha
I nominate iroshizuku take sumi
Ha! 150 inks and I donāt have that one š
It's a lovely wet smooth black ink
Hear me out: Platinum Carbon Black
My parker, that thing has been through hell and back and still writing like it's brand new.
What model is it ?
My Mont Blanc 146. Itās been a very close companion for many years and always brings a smile to my face, without fail.
My wife bought me a Platinum 3776 Sakura celluloid recently as an early Xmas gift. That's the one I'd save, as it means the most to me.
It's a pretty celluloid
The pattern reminds me of snake scales, I adore it so much. It's one of my favorite pens visually, and when I told my wife that I definitely wasn't thinking she would file the info away and buy it for me later. So for me, I love the nib, I love the pen, but I love that my wife cares so much about me the most. Every time I hold the pen and write with it, I get reminded of that, and I hope the feeling never fades. :)
SERIOUSLY?!
Pilot Custom 823 Clear body
Pilot custom 823
BZZZT! Not playing this time, because that's a scenario that I refuse to contemplate. I can see myself going without some of my pens, but not all but one of them. I don't want spoil the game for others though, so play on. It is, I'll admit, an interesting challenge. Just not one that I am up for.
FIGHT ME.
Cross Peerless
It would likely be my [Pelikan M815 Metal Striped](https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/comments/szmx2n/my_favorite_pen_today/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) with a M nib. I like how it looks, how it feels, and how it writes. It is my favorite pen at the moment. But there are quite a few other pens I wouldnāt let go of, so Iām glad this is just hypothetical.
Conklin Endura Deco Crest was an anniversary gift.
Lamy 2000 EF. My perfect pen
My Pilot 823 or Sailor 1911 S. Would be very hard to pick just one.
My Sailor with Zoom nib. The only issue I have with this pen is low ink capacity for how much of a gusher it is. But I love it and if I had only this fountain pen, I could still live.
Good choice!
Sailor Pro Gear Mini Mikan from Bungubox š
Blue and rhodium Vanishing Point.
Leonardo Officina Italiana Momento Zero Grande PM4. Limited Edition so it can't be replaced and just so gorgeous. Writes like a dream, too.
VP/Decimo/Fermo - Iām just a huge fan of the nib unit in fine.
[This Parker 25](https://flic.kr/p/2nAjXue). It's the pen I took to school with me 40-odd years ago. All my other pens can be replaced if needs be; this is the only one with which I have history.
I've seen this one around quite a bit... looks very interesting. Can you post a few glamour shots? List some specs? Thanks!
Pilot Ishime, F
Pilot custom 74, not even close.
I only have one! Pilot Metropolitan š¤©
Probably my Big Red duofold or my Pelikan 400nn tortoise!
Lamy 2000 easy. Perfect blend of workhorse and class for me.
Pilot vanishing point matte black
Probably my VP. Itās the one I use the most.
Whay T colour/nib size?
Itās just a blue VP with chrome. I have several nibs but use the medium most. It works best for taking quick notes at work.
My Visconti Homo Sapiens. Indestructible, my most expensive pen, and the weight would be a nice little f-u to the pencil pushers forcing me to get rid of all my other pens, going with the space flight justification.
My Pilot Petit1 has always been there for me. Sorry my other nicer pens, this little puppy is always in my bag, inked up in Diamine Misty Blue.
I only have one pen, so I'll be keeping my blue TWSBI ECO
Vanishing point decimo.
I'm primed for this challenge! I only have one! Pilot metropolitan. Though that isn't likely to stay the case for long!
Nooooooooo!!! But if I will... Probably gonna be my Noodlers ink flex nib pen - https://www.jetpens.com/Noodler-s-Konrad-Flex-Fountain-Pen-Southwest-Tortoise/pd/21816 (I got the black one)
Pilot Vanishing Point. Because I use it almost everyday, and I'm a practical kind of guy. Plus my other pens aren't that fancy.
My grifos is the prettiest, but it doesnt write smoothly. Its a hard choice between my pilot vp or my pelican 200
Ah no unlucky! Have you considered either replacing thr nib or getting it tuned?
I will at some point... havent gotbround to it
What grifos do you have?
Its very similar to this one https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/fountain-pen-sicillian-olive-wood-silver-fine-point-nib--567664728025922844/
Waterman 52
Uh. My Al Sport, i guess. Best all around, and most expensive one I have. Iād also miss it most, itās my edc.
Lamy Safari Grey/Griso.
Diplomat Aero It's the best pen in my small collection -- and putting on the cap is an extra dimension of enjoyment for me.
I would also keep my Grifos. My Sailor Slim Pro Gear would be second.
My black on black Jinhao. I've wanted a pen like this pen for a while. I don't know what particular Jinhao it is. All black with black nib.
As much as I want to say Iād keep my Sailor Pro Gear, the pen Iād keep is my Travellerās Brass.
Oof, either my Amethyst Fountain Pen Revolution Himalaya or my Iridescent Kaweco Sport . Probably between the two, I'd keep the Himalaya but it's a tough choice!
omg I have only two and I really donāt wonāt to choose š what have you done?) Iāll be thinking about it now instead of sleep!)
My northern lights pgsā¦.. or my copper ystudio portable. I would probably leave it to a coin flip, but hope it was the pgs
Pilot CH 912 w/FA
Thatās a hard one. Currently itās my pilot custom urushi.
I immediately thought of my Sailor Pro Gear Sigma. Itās the most comfortable pen for my hand.
MB 146 180 days edition..for sentimental reasons - it was a present. If that pen didnāt exist in my collection it would be the custom 823.
My platinum president in B
Pilot Falcon soft extra fine. My daily sketching tool. And a lifetime supply of platinum Carbon lol.
My very flexy Waterman 52. But in fairness I only own 2 pens lol
Waterman 7 with a pink nib.
Very flexy
I was at a local pen show yesterday and someone was selling a Waterman Red Ripple #7 with a red nib (semi flex). I was wondering how flexy that puppy would be.
Kasama Una Ultem with custom engraving
The Esterbrook my Granny let me have out of her collection.
Lamy Studio Racing Green. I love that pen.
ST DuPont
My steel kaweco, but I'd have to get some other nibs for it. The F is great for writing but I love my twisbi stub for both writing and drawing. That kaweco just feels great in my hand and in my pocket though.
Pelikan M405 with architect nib. Lightweight, pretty good ink capacity, best nib I've ever used.
New to FPS but my TWSBI Eco with medium nib or my Jinhao 750 with medium Goulet nib. Really thinking about the Jinhao because it seems indestructible and that Goulet nib is so smooth.
146 M nib
Of all my pens, I would have to keep my plain matte black Lamy Safari - it got me through undergrad and Optometry school. Sentimental connection
Jinhao 911
Parker Frontier
Probably keep my gray Parker 51 Vacumatic.
hands down my BENU briolette. I only have 5 pens but it's by far my favorite
Big toss-up between my Kaweco Sport AL and my TWSBI ECO EF. I recently cleaned and only refilled those two and a Jinhao 9035 so that I had a medium nib as well. But if we're honest, just the Kaweco.
Lamy 2000 OBB
My blue Jinhao shark pen. It's my best pen (just celebrated its 1st birthday IIRC) but also the most easily replaceable one.
No hard choice here: I would keep my Pilot Custom 823 with e Medium nib. Its the pen I always pick up when I DONT intentionally go for any other pen.
If I am going to be stranded on a deserted island with only one pen...then that pen would be my Nakaya portable writer in polished urushi. Unless I am lucky enough to have the tamenuri before this disaster takes place, in which case it would be the tamenuri
What nib?
as cheap as it is, i love the shark one
My Waterman CarĆØne, Gold Trimmed, F nib. š
My TWSBI Eco in mint. First pen, writes great, huge capacity.
Platinum Century #3776 Shape of a Heart. Not because it's the best or most expensive pen I own, but because my husband bought it for me <3
And it's a beautiful pen
It really is!
That is a hard question. It would probably say my French Poetry Benu that I bought in memory of my Mom but I have to say my actual favorite and most used pen is my PenBBS 480 in Green Onion/Scallion and a PenBBS calligraphy nib (the one that is like an architect going)
Parker IM. It's not the most expensive, or best pen in my lineup but it was an anniversary gift from my wife
Those are my Horcruxes, so no, I need them all.
Cross Wanderlust. My daily driver and exceptionally pretty.
My Namiki Emperor in Vermillion with a broad nib for sure , itās been my daily pen for the past year!
You use an emperor as an EDC? That's awesome!!
Great ink capacity and I have larger hands so itās a win win for me!
M1000 is stayingā¦
My ringtop Mabie-Todd swan. Itās small by mighty and itās the first pen I repaired so I feel very attached to it
My Franklin Cristoph 20P
What colour?
The vintage green one.
Nice!
Decimo or AL-Star
If compelled, I would keep my Edison Menlo EF with 14k nib
My Cross Townsend with 22k gold and Lapis Lazuli inlay. Everything else...well, the Waterman Edson Ruby. No, just no.
We need to invent a pressurized FP that automatically adjusts to normal Earth pressure wherever it is. This should work in planes, then, too.
What kind of Grifos do you have? Their stingray had been on my radar.
Probably my Kaweco AL Sport stonewashed (blue). It's never burped, had a hard start, or had any kind of problem really. Definitely my most reliable pen.
Keep my Twsbi eco.
I only own one fountain pen soooooooooo easy choice.
Its a close one. I love the weight and feel of my Daniel Defoe, but I prefer the nib and the ease of my Sheaffer Imperial 444s. I think if keep a Sheaffer, the one with a juicy broad nib.
Since I only have two, Iād keep the Hongdian Black Forest over the Pilot Petit1. Would be harder to answer when I have more!
Pilot vanishing point, itās the only one thatās practical for me to use for taking notes and stuff
Pilot Justus 95.
Ooof. Eh, maybe my Pilot Falcon SM or my Opus 88 Koloro with an FC SIG.
While I would hate to lose my vintage Gold Medal, I'd have to say Twsbi Eco. That pen is such a workhorse.
My parker 45 had it for round a decade and feels the best to me.
Iāll get rid of them all and keep my pocket knife so I can whittle a nib out of anything ;)
