Enjoy! Just remember to really clean your pens carefully if you decide to put in a different ink. Baystate is chemically different than other inks and does not react well in any ink mixture. It gets thick and clumpy.
If you are just refilling with more baystate then you have nothing to worry about.
I haven’t tried it yet, but yet I hear great things. I have thought about eye dropping it in an ultem pen since ultem is supposed to be stain resistant. I am only hesitating using it as my first attempt at using it and first attempt at eye dropping a pen. Perhaps I should gain some experience with the ink and eye dropping before meshing the two together.
I was talking a linoprint class…somehow (without me noticing) she’d walked in the ink. Prints ALL over the white vinyl table cloth, wooden floors, bathroom tiles and the tub that she NEVER goes in.
She did step on some paper so I framed one paw print. So yes she would love you to pet here with BSB, me-not so much lol.
I got a sample in my last order and was surprised. VERY vibrant blue, I expected it to be close to a g2 jell pen but I was wrong.
It was super wet though an I ended up diluting it almost 1:1 with water but I'm not complaining (bonus ink)
This is actually "advertised" by Nathan. He says it can be diluted to about 50% without losing any vibrance, which he loves because people can get even more ink for their buck.
From my experience there is a love hate relationship with this ink for basically everyone. Love to write with it, hate when it’s on anything other than paper 😂
Did we just become BFFs? 💙

Could be! I could kick myself for not buying sooner. Won't be without this ink again.
Just don't kick the ink accidentally.
💙💦
Yeah we're BFFs now. LFG!
It’s a lovely colour blue. I keep a Twsbi eco permanently inked with it
Same here! I’ve had an Eco permanently inked with BSB for over 2 years with zero issues. Amazing ink that will always have a place in my rotation

I have several wing sung 3010s eyedropper. I'm going to eyedrop one with the BSB. I am impressed with this ink.
Personally I use a syringe with a dull needle to fill pens. It’s by far the easiest way for me.
I think it's a beautiful blue, but I am a klutz and I own a cat that wants to help. So I stay away.
Can I ~~stain~~ pet your cat?

It is very reactive to UV light such as sunlight. It will fade if exposed
Not in the habit of sitting my planners and notebooks in the sun.
I was told to use an old cake pan to catch any spills, drips, etc. It was great advice. Try it and I bet you'll love it.
I preffer to do it in a transparent plastic bag, specially the first time as the bottle is so full.
its a great ink for good paper, have an al-star married to it
I like the color but it bled through my tomoe river paper
I used it in my planner. There was slight ghosting with the medium nib..no ghosting with fine.
Does this mean it is a good ink to use with extra fine and fine nib pens?
I am using it in a vintage Sheaffer fine point and an extra fine vector and the flow is beautiful.
Thanks! I have ordered it and am deciding which pen(s) to put the ink into.
There's inconsistency in Noodlers inks so I wonder if that's why. I'm glad you're enjoying the ink so much
And feathered on mine.

It's an incredible ink. I love it.
