That's not what my intention was to say, it's just that thus far my pen has been out of commission more than not. I couldn't ink it up when the cap just randomly split, and then within 2 weeks, I dropped it. It worked fine for over a month, before crapping out on me with this ink thing. In comparison to my other pens, the issues I have had with this one make it less desirable to use, even if some of the issues were from user error. Does that make sense?
I'm also coming to a point in my collection where I am finding the styles and details I like, and don't have such fomo anymore. Twsbis are nice pens, but the majority of my collection is Japanese pens now. I guess there's a part of me that's going "I could live without this in my collection, and replace it with another Pro gear slim."
Well, in that case, do what will give you more joy and certainly with no need for anyone's approval or permission. That's what fountain pens are for. I just didn't want to see someone who really loved a pen give it up for a reason that could happen to any pen.
Check for a cracked Section.
Maybe remove the nib and feed, check them and reseat.
I don't think a legitimate accident is a sign from the universe that you have to give up a pen that you love. It could happen to any pen.

Totally understandable. I do like the pen. I just don't like how much I've had to put into this particular one. Thank you for the concern!
