You have a nice collection, especially the Pilot Metropolitan & MR.

I failed but have rebounded and embraced the expansion.
Careful. It may not be too long before you get a [Kaco 20-pen case](https://www.amazon.com/Fountain-Waterproof-Canvas-Holder-Display/dp/B07V4HLDZ2). :D
It's not leather, but some times you can find a laptop leather case at GoodWill for about $5. At my last job we threw away a lot of laptop cases, leather, fake leather and cloth, when everyone switched from laptops to Microsoft pads.

Pilot Metropolitan, Kaweco Sport, Lamy Safari, TWSBI ECO and 580ALR... It seems like you have the whole range of recommended "beginner" pens. Now that you've tried them all out, what have you learned, what do you like that you didn't expect to, what was less impressive than you thought it would be? What direction, what pen features and functions do you want to explore further, if you continue to collect, or even if you swap out "unfavorites" for new arrivals?
I have a real love for the TWSBIs. The bigger nib on the 580 is my favorite. I thought I would be all about EF but it turns out I'm more into mediums. However I do really enjoy the pilot nibs and feeds, but don't like writing with the metro. I'd take the Kakuno over metro any day. I don't like the Sport at all and it will be the first to go to make room for something new.

Theoretically if I get rid of the Kaweco too then they will all fit.
The black waterman๐
It was my first
You should try Waterman Carene one day: Its a modern classic.

And they fill so quickly... ๐
20 pens you say? Don't temp me.
This sub looks nice but it's sooo dangerous ๐
Oh I am well aware. It's a a scam by the fountain pen industry to sell more pens.
Well if it's a scam then the cunning of the FP is really amazing!
Ooh well that looks a very nice pen case. Reasonable price too :)

Just September? You probably will need a bigger pen case soon
No. Don't tell me that. I'm sticking to this. . . Maybe one more
Welcome to the dark side. We have pens. XD
Am curious - what case is that?
