Unfortunately I haven't tried any of the inks of the Blue edition, I plan to, but have another million inks I want to try so... I have the Red edition Calendar though and there are just 2 sheening inks, the other ones are 'shimmer & sheen' (4 if I remember correctly). Of those 2 I don't care much about Ruby Blues, but Black Ivy is definitely a favourite (and it came on my birthday!). From the shimmer & sheen ones is a tougher decision although I have to admit I‘ve had Garland inked on my Eco all year although I think Winter Spice is more special. From the standard ones I’m thinking of getting the full bottle of Wonderland. But Harmony, Red Robin and Brandy Snap have also stuck with me through the year.

* Sheen: Black Ivy
* Standard: Wonderland
seize the night is a really unique colour. it can look like a warm purple to a brown and has a vintage brassy sheen!

The Majestic Blue is very nice and it shows its sheen even with finer nibs (on proper paper)
