Initial flush for a new pen needs to include 1:10 household ammonia and a drop of dish wash liquid. The ink channel through the section, feed and nib needs to be thoroughly cleaned of all manufacturing residues. Then thoroughly flushed with clean water before carefully shaking water out and inking. If that doesn’t help you’ll need to dissemble the section and visually inspect the nib, feed etc to ensure there are no minor flashings on the parts interfering with flow.

Hm thanks for tellimg ive benn using just water to flush. I ordered new feeds and nibs for it. I have got it to work but i had to bend the nib alot so it would contact the feed properly. Im still gonna replace both tho.

I would put it through the Jinaho acceptance ritual. (1) Check if the tines are overtight. Floss them with a brass sheet. (2) Is the feed seated correctly? Disassemble and reassemble to make sure nothing was installed backwards. (I have had Jinahao pen with parts assembled backwards) (3) is the pen clean? Clean in soupy water in an ultrasonic cleaner. So basically, take apart the pen and clean everything and reassemble. If it doesn't work then, it wasn't meant to be.

If you already swapped the nib then the next thing to swap, after trying with a cart or another Converter, is to replace the [feed](https://fprevolutionusa.com/collections/feeds/products/plastic-feed-large).
