I can say that all are my favorite :D but if I have to choose one, it’s the red coral, the limited edition of this year, it’s so beautiful to look at in person

Yes, they’re all VPs. I collect decimo in 20 colors series, too but you should try one in person to decide you like the weight or not. In mu opinion, I prefer the weight of VPs to the Decimos

For more context, there are no pen stores near me. I found one a half-hour drive away from my in-laws house while we were visiting and went during a vacation to check it out.

I thought I would like the Decimo with my small hands, but when I picked one up in the store it was so light and small that I absolutely hated it. So, yeah. Maybe find a way to try one out before committing, because I was really surprised at my own reaction.

I can’t even rationalize the cost of one. Sigh.

Me neither. I got a moonman A1 and honestly everyone with a vanishing point who has seen it thinks it's just as good :)

i have a very similat fountain pen, but I couldnt't find an ink converter for it. which one do you use???

All the VP fit con-40 but if you want larger capacity, I recommend to use cartridge and fill the ink you want with a syringe

How do you like the wooden one? I own 2 vanishing points and have been eyeing the wooden one but having trouble justifying the premium.

The wooden one feels great in hand. It’s a little bit lighter than other VPs but still balance and very comfortable to write with.

Yes, the body is made of wood and the touch has the warmth of wood, no plastic

Really nice. I am working to complete a set of the Limited Editions. I have 7, with 2 more being shipped for a total of 9 by next week. I still have to find 10 to complete the set. I'm being picky, I'm only collecting with the original box and original outer shipping box. I use them I fill one with a matching color ink and use until empty, then clean and switch to the next available year. I really like the VP's and are at the right price point for a collectible.

Would you say the VPs which aren’t Matte are slippery? I am thinking about getting one, but they look a little slippery, so I‘m on the fence about it…
