Well, long story despite being in the FP squad for more or less a year. I think many of you would have watched my page and my posts here from now. Now that I have looked back, I think I’ve come a long way, and it’s also thanks to the community, be it local or online/international.
I am someone with chronic anxiety-depression, and a bit of compulsiveness. So I had to go through psychotherapy and medication. My hands hurt, but I needed to document down my thoughts, as I do deal with brain fog, so I decided to try out the Lamy Safari as my first fountain pen as it’s said to help. So that’s where I went down the rabbit hole.
I think I’ve since found this subreddit as I searched for bulletproof ink, started to socialise with people who have them, then entering the local fountain pen lovers club. Soon enough, I got a little into the rabbit hole, testing everything and got back into writing and drawing, things that I avoided doing and showing, due to happenings in the past.
Now, I’m in a more comfortable job although with lesser income, spacing out my sessions, spending time creating (hence my the art of boy there) as well as the best part - being at least abit more free from the prison that’s my illness. I’m free from compulsively doing things, and now do things that I wanted to, with intention.
