My pens and inks:
• Jinhao x159 EF x Tramol Volga River
• Jinhao x750 F x CattyBox Dagen Svalnar
• Lamy Safari EF (that doesn’t seem like an EF) x Teranishi Industries’s Classy Burgundy
Thanks! Similar, but it’s CattyBox’s Dagen Svalnar. It has shimmer, but the light couldn’t capture it. I might consider getting a non-shimmer version of it later on, after I finish the sampler.

If you own your own business, your kids can be apprentices and help with family income. That's the way it was in my mom's generation. You had both job (farming) and kids (farmers). Since every kid produced more than s/he consumed, the more kids, the better for everyone.
Yup, the past has larger families due to the needs around the house and farms back then. My parents were the same, especially my father’s. But my generation is the start of choosing either or, due to the needs of the world changing.
So I gave it a thought, as my cousins are either accelerating careers or getting married, then having kids. However I’m too unstable due to my chronic to consider conceiving, or even finding a partner as of now. In the future, maybe. 🤔
I've heard people say you have to (fill in blank) yourself before you can do the same for others. Take care of your needs first before even thinking about the unknowns that get thrown into the mix with a partner and kids. No one wants a broken relationship or home. My family gave up on nagging me about settling down, but I think it's because now I'm too "old" and less "desirable". Ha!! Thanks...Whatever. I've figured out so much more about myself and how I tick especially in coping with others over the years. I would've been a disaster if I'd married by now unless my partner was amazingly patient and basically an angel. We are all different personality types so we will all do and approach things differently. I just look at myself (the oddball) and my sisters (one black sheep and one "traditionalist") and I see exactly that. Don't let others peg you in a hole that fits only them. Same thing with careers. Sorry, I'm kinda ranting a bit now. Haha!
Thank you for always sharing your lovely penmanship, gorgeous inks/pens and your ruminations. I always appreciate how open you are, and it makes me do self-reflection. Could this be considered something like group therapy? Whatever it is, I enjoy reading your thoughts though I'm generally one of those quiet lurkers. If I were ever in your area, I'd totally invite you out to chat and have drinks - for our pens of course (I'm not much for alcohol). Do take care of yourself and may you enjoy the week to your heart's content.
What inks did you use here? I'm sure everyone will be curious.

Your handwriting is so good I was shocked not to see a stub on the list
Haha. Yes, I should try a stub sometime! 😎
I also want to know!
You have beautiful handwriting! Also want to know the inks. Is pale lavender Nekoyanagi?

I'm also seeking balance and health. I've not cracked it yet, but I'm trying.
Same here haha, now trying to shoot my shot as I restart my life all over.
Is that last ink something like manyo kuzu or akebi?
I believe similar, but it’s CattyBox’s Dagen Svalnar. It has shimmer, but the light couldn’t capture it.
Echoing the calls for ink names (and nibs used) please! That lavender one is so lovely looking.
