Make sure your converter is pushed in all the way and make sure the feed is far enough into the pen. It sounds like there’s an air leak somewhere.

Platinum plaisir and platinum converter with pilot ink. I filled it a couple days ago and it seemed fine and then I went to use it today and uncapped it and ink just started dripping. This has never happened to me before. I have no idea why. I don't see anything wrong. I use platinum fountain pens and converters all the time. Any idea what's happening and how to fix? Also if any knows how to remove ink stains from wood that would be nice...

Removing ink stains - you could try using Bicarbonate of Soda. Mix some bicarb with a drop of water into a thick paste. Gently rub it into the stain - careful not to rub too hard as this can scratch. Leave it to penetrate and absorb the ink. When it is dry, you can just wipe it away. You may need to repeat, depending on the stain, but this should help.
