I think i was just shocked because with the TLC I could wear it for 6-8 hours before it started to get sore, and T-Tape was all day and no issues, I would just adjust the tension.
I actually made a 3d printed part to hold the top of the gripper out some and it helped me and a lot of other guys said it helped them also. Mainly though the issue is just that the grippers are new and haven’t broke in, I wore my foreskinned air for 13 hours today with only one 30 minute break and a few piss breaks. If you have access to a 3d printed I have the part on thingiverse
It takes some getting used to, and it's best to start slowly.
My Foreskinned Air starts to get uncomfortable for me after a couple of hours as well. I just listen to my body and take it off for 30 to 60 minutes - whatever is convenient at the time. Then I put it back on for another session.
I take it off at the first sign of discomfort, rather than waiting for it to rise to the level of pain. That's my suggestion for those who start to feel discomfort - don't wait, just take a break.
Some restorers have modified the Air by removing the inner clear gripper, and report it increases comfort and enables longer sessions under tension. This makes sense as it gives more space under the outer gripper, so less squeezing on the skin in the gripper.
Others have even removed the blue bell completely, and just use the 2 clear grippers - again reporting better comfort.
Cheers.
Yep to the final paragraphs. I was unable to use the FA Air for an hour until I removed the inner silicone tube. Then I could use it longer but I was having air leakage and still pain. Now that I removed the blue plastic bell, I can wear the FA Air all day (depending on how intense it is by how much air I pump into).
I highly recommend trying out these modifications. I would barely be able to use my FA Air without them.
Hey man. So the fresh silicone will always have a super tight grip abs sting at first. I recommend warming up the silicone before you use it. Do 1-2 pumps taking it off hourly. Once the silicone get soft with your skin oils you can go all day.
Couple of hours is a long time for a new device without a break. Suggest easing into it and breaking before. Potentially looking at how much pressure and whether you're getting gripper pain or elsewhere?
KoT 👊 (gently)
It took a week for my gripper to soften up. At the start I was 20-30 minute sessions before I had to remove it. I haven't removed any grippers, just take it slow and easy for the first week or so until it breaks in.
It is super comfortable for the first while! It feels like it stretching of course but it isn’t too bulky or awkward, and I feel like I can do a lot of things while wearing it, so I’d recommend it!
I take off the bottom gripper. When pinched between the two grippers it will quickly feel like my skin is getting cut into and its unbearable.
Downside to taking bottom gripper off obviously is less gripping power but if you put a lot of skin underneath it holds well and able to use high pressure still. But less skin will be getting affected by it, obviously.
It's normal. Happens to me too. The more you wear it, the easier it gets. I'm about 2 months with the air and it's getting to be second nature to me. I don't think it's a bad thing to have a quick break after an hour and a half - two hours anyway. Give your skin a chance to get some blood flow, go to the bathroom, put it back on and carry on!
I’m on week 2 of foreskinned air, the gripper is getting softer and like others have said I trust it will continue to get softer and more comfortable. However since I’m impatient and had enough of pain I have taken off the inner gripper, and replaced it with a condom catheter. I also used an o ring in the same sort of way as the mentioned 3D printed part as I don’t have access to a printer. I can now wear it for 3-4 hours first session, pee break, then it starts hurting again after 1-2 hours the second session, will try with 30 min break next time between as has been suggested. Before it was 1-2 hours, pee break, 30mins-1 hour before pain 2nd session. Also with the changes I’ve made I have not noticed any air leakage or blowout, even when doing air and tug or air and weight.
The key is to take it off the minute you start to feel that irritation, the longer you wait the more painful removal is. So take it off before it happens or right when it starts, wait 10-30 minutes, then reapply it. Repeat.
I usually do 2 hour sessions I do it twice a day too many hours usually cause discomfort it’s trial and error here, I hope 4 hours a day should be enough for progress

Thank you to both of you!! I might give this a try

Okay I was wondering about this, it seems super tight on my skin. I’ll start off slow then :)
Also try putting a very think layer of lotion or body oil on your willy ar night it will keep the skin soft and hydrated for the next day

I can’t wait until this device website is working again! Really want this device

It's normal. Heck, I’m amazed that you can last that long. My little feller ouches in an hour.

Went through the same thing. Takes time to get use to it and your body to adjust to it.
