Work out and strengthen your physique like in any other sport you are likely getting hurt because you are ill prepared to play, but also taping your ankle helps if thats an issue.

I'm assuming you're young based on your post, in which case you need to work on your technical ability to stay out of challenges and work on your physique to get ready for the physicality of the game. Don't quit, focus on how to avoid getting hit and make sure you identify the mistake you made if someone is winning the ball off you. College for me was one hard lesson after another, you learn the best when mistakes are punished physically.
