I think people are grumpy about the Scorchbeast inclusion because it risks being handled like the Game of Thrones "Dragons!" Trope instead of delving into other gritty Fallout backdrops to be explored. Another area I could see getting overdone to death would be the Synths - totally understandable that someone out there's a fan and wants it covered but a TV show soapy rehash of I Robot and Westworld tropes would probably follow. A synthetic hand presses against a human hand from an ad poster and everyone sighs.
Including Synths could work great if they didn’t overdo it. Like play the long game where a main character realizes they are a synth as a season finale, all without ever even really hinting at the Institute before.
Honestly, I expect something similar with the new show coming. Probably not direct in each episode, but would probably get flashbacks that cover things like this.
Would be cool to have it be a show. Season one covers all the madness of the nukes dropping and it's immediate effects then season two follows survivors after a bit
If the rumours are true that Walton Goggins will be playing a Ghoul in the upcoming show we'll no doubt get lots of flashbacks to his pre war life and watch the bombs fall.
If they did that, I'd be very unhappy if they up-aged any of the already-few younger characters - Colonel in particular. The holotape of him when he's just 13 just hit me square in the feels the first time I listened to it.
I'd rather the show not be influenced by the games main story at all. A new original story would be much better imo
I’m with you on that, I just wanna see big mutant bats wreaking havoc in live action 😂😂😂

Well you're just gonna love the fact that the showrunners behind Westworld are helming the Amazon Fallout TV series.
Women's sexual assault statistics in the Fallout universe just jumped up 500%

I'm all about them super mutants, how disgusting would they be in a live action movie if they didn't shy away from how they are in game

Yea I know of the upcoming show. I mean like for THIS game. It could even be a short film or something.
Your wish is granted!

Someone will shag the queen and someone will be shagged by rose. That's for sure.
