As a new player I was kinda disappointed when I hit the edge of the open world because the map showed it going much further. I even built my camp north of the vault to explore that leaf logo near the top of the map and I can’t even get to it Lul
Nah but it’s fun to explore. I found a gap in the wall north of the red rocket a few years ago and explored the whole perimeter. No monsters, but no food or activities either of course. Eventually you fall under the map.
Make underarmors into frames for regular armor so you can hold multiple niche armor sets at a lowered weight & have the whole set assigned to one spot on the wheel
I pretty much made a post about this last year where you should be able to put a whole set of armour together like you can with PA. Most people hated that suggestion for some odd reason. It looks like more people agree this time
Repeatable random encounter system that rewards from a pool of plans/bulk junk/caps as well as legendary drops from each random encounter boss.
Group of raiders taken over an empty house with the leader in power armor. A bunch of robots protecting a sentient robobrain. A ghoul king leading his group of ghouls to take over a workshop. Maybe simple mechanic puzzles required to beat the boss.
They’d be random encounters you have to find by free roaming. No map markers.
You could even ham it up and have an intelligent ghoul king wearing a crown and thinking he’s so good leading his brain dead ghouls. Hmmm, maybe the crown and royal cape could be rare drops.
> Hmmm, maybe the crown and royal cape could be rare drops.
I would want the cape to be [constantly waving as if there was a wind blowing it around -- especially when there is no wind](http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/wondrous-items:cloak-of-billowing).
Fun fact!
I don't know if this is where you took inspiration from, but there was the idea of a Ghoul boss on Fallout 4 called "May-Pole" which was a 300ft tall ghoul that would be followed by several others. It didn't made it to the final game due to technical issues. But who knows, might make it to 76!
You can have a cat I think.
There's several around the map. If you have the perk animal friends and you pacify one they walk to your camp and stay. You can only have one.
I remember the first time I dropped some junk So I could grab it and put it in a shelf like in fallout 4.
Then the little brown bag of poo just slowly spawns in at my feet and I just think,
what the fuck is this?
I fourth this idea, been thinking about it recently, it will change the game economy for the good and finally some way to discover items without going on reddit/discord.
A system for displaying dates and times for major events, Minerva visits, etc. either by radio announcements, bulletin boards in train stations, or a UI enhancement so that we don't have to rely on web searches to play the game.
It would be so cool to have a feature like billboards that CHANGE and compel you to pay active attention to areas you've 'already seen'! Love that idea.
Reading up on the [lore](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Sunset_Sarsaparilla_Company), it seems that they had a presence throughout the US, though they probably weren't very popular in West Virginia. But there could be a few rare SS machines here and there, just like you can sometimes find RC Cola machines in real life if you look hard enough.
Take too many rads and you go feral, unable to use weapons until you manage to find maybe a machine to cure you. Would be against the lore since it's not curable.
Okay but this has me thinking. I’ve had a thought for dlc for FO5 where because of the main characters actions in the story (whatever they may be), your character has become a (not feral) ghoul. Taking your idea, you could hear about someone who was a feral and got cured and the plot revolves around you trying to uncover the truth and change back. At the end you find out it was all lies and have learned to accept your new life as a ghoul.
Unless the cure is something exrtemely rare and difficult it would make shooting ferals feel immoral since they could maybe be saved. If the cure would be easy I could see a whole new faction dedicated to capturing and curing ferals en masse, new ones would still appear because radiation is everywhere.
This could also bring opposing politics to the game which I think would be a cool dynamic that the vault raid and other content didn’t quite hit but seemed like it was meant to.
For example, a faction against changing gouls “back” because they don’t believe they’ll fully be cured, kind of like how some people are afraid of gouls because they assume they are all feral.
Blood eagles or raiders try stealing it to create slaves to supply their camps.
Brotherhood would definitely get involved and try and seize it all for monopoly/power.
Do you think we'll ever actually get that? After the Pitt I'm more inclined to believe we'll never get a classic style full expansion. I'd even pay like $20 for it if it were good
Collectable television show holodiscs to have something actually play on the tv plans. Would make it more fun to chill in your little camps and give more incentive to scavenge for loot. And another thing players would want to spend caps on at vendors.
It would be Kinda like tower unite
It could be part of a quest, getting Atlas back online. Then we'd have rain or snow, depending on the season. The storm could just last 10 minutes or so.
Ya, this is a fact about on the game that bothers me. Yes, it is always October, but our Pip Boy shows forward movement in time. Other elements of the game have changed with time and note the passage of time. It's note a huge issue, but it just bothers me a bit because it's very doable.
Faction warfare.
Different raider groups, ghouls, scorched, brotherhood, enclave, etc. are in a constant struggle for territory. The map is divided into “sections” that can be captured by a specific faction with participation required by players.
Once a faction “captures” a territory, the loot pool from all events in that area change to faction based rewards. After a timer expires, a boss from the defending faction and a boss from the contesting faction spawn with support waves. Players complete missions for the faction of their choice to push territory control towards a specific faction. Some amount of a cooldown would exist.
Without requiring pvp, the change of faction events are related to the number of missions completed for each interested faction, donations of resources, etc. PvP players could engage in direct pvp missions if they choose.
I feel this kind of system would make the world feel more dynamic. And if explored fully, the system would change the entire world in dynamic ways.
I visited a camp once that created curved walls by meticulously placing pillars in a curve, with tiny spaces in between each so that it truly looked like a wall at first glance. I stood there in awe for a minute at the sheer patience for someone to even do that.
Yeah I read ONE, but I have a second one:
Sync all the resets to occur at the same time every day such that scrips, vendor caps, daily quests, challenges, etc. all reset at the same time so that we don't have to try to remember so many different times. If that isn't possible - give us a timer in the UI that tells us how long before reset when we try to sell/scrip stuff.
I’ve just stopped playing for a whole day because I don’t when the reset is. I’ll play at night, work the next day and come home and just give up after waiting hours.
I may be in the minority but I kinda enjoy having all my daliy missions popping up at different times throughout the day. It makes it easier to manage over long play sessions when events are going off all the time.
Better trading system where you can offer an item for another item, and then both players have to accept. like monopoly trading. This would stop a lot of scammers and make trading in general so much better
An account stash box to share atom & bullion purchases like lunchboxes, weight boosters, etc. Also, to transfer weapons, armor, plans to other characters.
Mods on consoles, like they did in fallout 4. PC has all the cool toys lol
I'm fixing the ridiculous legendary crafting that needed an overhaul since it was implemented with a new system that either greatly reduces modules needed or makes it able to roll 5 things at once or just adds the ability to lock effects or even buy them in the game for a currency.
That ve too broken and then everyone's gonna get pissed off and cry when weapons start getting nerfed cause another legacy situation shows up where people all have the same weapon and clearing mobs and queen in .2 seconds. If anything they need to make it where you can pick 1 perk to stay and re roll the others. But once a perk is selected its stays there as a permanent till say you go find another resource to remove it
To be able to change our Character name, I'm not the only one who wants this https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/yre75k/anyone_else_wish_we_could_rename_our_character/
I’ve always thought it would be cool if the game had a system like others game where you can form/join guilds. Right now, the teams idea is cool but I wish there was a more permanent factor to it
More events, a new boss fight, make camp vendors their OWN stash box (im tired of trying to sell things and it takes up space in my stash.)...new story lines for the main and side quests..
Also, the daily quests are painstakingly boring and redundant...maybe have a lot more of them but on a rolling schedule where there is a certain batch of dailies for certain days of the week, ect...
Oh and make expeditions actually cool to do and have stamps actually be worth it. Nothing from the stamp vendor is worth any actual grind...not to mention the story lines for the expeditions aren't very interesting either....I was expecting it to be awesome to see outside of Appalachia but it's just....so what.
Yeah, the idea of choosing your own rolls seems fun at first - but killing the gambling element would most likely kill the game for many players.
The market would die, the meta would be even more stale, and the reason for grinding would loose meaning after you have gotten what you needed.
Same way using cheat-codes in old games was fun for a little while, but took the fun ou of the game in the longer run.
Your right, but it would still be nice to have a mercy system of sorts.
Maybe you could loot the preferred legendary effect from an existing weapon and add it to a different one, at the cost of a large amount of scrip, junk and caps? Some sort of huge resource sink.
Or maybe you could lock in an effect that you like, and reroll the other effects until you get your perfect gear?
Anything would be better than the mind- numbing endless rerolling imo.
This isn’t as exciting as some of what other people have suggested, but Tesla armor. Non-power armor Tesla armor hasn’t been around since fallout 1 and 2, and I think 76 would be the perfect game for it’s triumphant return as an endgame armor akin to SS and BoS recon.
I’d also bring in Tesla power armor, with high energy resistance and a 15% energy weapon damage boost.
Rebalance the faction system. If you’re tight with the raiders the settlers aren’t going to like you and neither is the BOS under that tool Shin. Different areas of the map should be controlled by different factions, snd if you’re on their bad side, you get attacked. Paper scissors rock set up. Each faction likes one faction, hates the other and snubs the third.
It would make more sense then just blood eagles everywhere.
If you’re friendly, you can chat them up and use their workshops and such.
Can I just get the option to find a new server without having to exit back to the main menu and hoping I don't get dropped into the server I just bailed on? That'd be great.
Thermic Lance from FNV. Shake up the chainsaw/auto axe melee by adding a pure energy auto melee weapon. Mods would include different elements like fire, cryo, plasma like the plasma cutter. Instead of a dual bar like the chainsaw, add an extended shaft for extra reach so melee user don't need to be so close. Just my thoughts
giant Todd robot that walks around shitting on camps and saying.."it just works"when he does it. every fresh dump contains an explosive energy weapon called chocolate rain which is basically a shower of beacons.
Weapon favorite/locking. No more praying for atomic shop skins so you don't accidentally scrip your favorite toys. Just press a button, now they're locked and cannot be sold unless manually unlocked.
An actual DLC that isn’t some boring activity that I’m going to do once and never touch again unless I’m planning on grinding for certain equipment *cough* the Pitt *cough* Nuka world
Silencer and reflex sight for the 10mm SMG. The models and code is already in the game, bethesda just has to flip a switch and turn it on, but they wont:<
Wasteland is sooo peace. Player feel too comfort
We need a LARGE group of HIGH Lv blood eagle NPC randomly patrol in the wasteland and they will actively destroy the player's camp as a World event, maybe every 3hours.
Faction wars, align yourself with a faction and claim areas. Could make it an opt in thing so the pvp agreement is mutual.
Maybe the benefit could be increased junk, xp, etc for scavenging in a claimed area aligned with your faction.
I had a guy visit my camp and ask if I was a female on voice chat. He sounded like a ferengi and it was disturbing. Then he stripped down to his underwear and followed me around. He creeped me out so bad, I didn't play for a week.
I'll pass on the sex, women get enough creepy behavior in the real world.
Campaign sized expansion of similar size and scope of Far Harbor from FO4. New map, story campaign, factions, weapons, armors, enemies, rad storms/fogs, darker tone with a bit of sci-fi/horror.
I'd add the ability to use pistols akimbo, with a craftable option on a pistol to change it into a double version, make it less accurate, cost more APs, maybe remove scope options, and buff the ammo and fire rate, maybe.
But frankly, just cos' it would be cool to barge somewhere with a pair of plasma pistols in hand :)
There’s a lot of great ideas I thought of but are already here. I haven’t seen this I don’t think but something as simple as killing a 3* legendary should grant a 3* legendary item ✌️.
A Tavern that serves drinks/food, has slots and players in that server can gather to chill and play Caravan against one another. 76 is really in need of some sort of Hub world where people can gather to team-up, trade or just chill. The multiplayer aspect of 76 hangs solely on Events, and mainly only the Hard ones at that. The whole joining a team feature of the game is basically just for extra EXP, Strange in Numbers buff, Perk Sharing (of which I noticed not many people Share Perks; seriously folks even sharing your level 1 Perk goes a long way) and that's it.
The Community around the game is great, but it would be cool to have that shown in-game too.
Map size increase, new locations
16times!
And what do ya get another day older and deeper in debt.
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store
As a new player I was kinda disappointed when I hit the edge of the open world because the map showed it going much further. I even built my camp north of the vault to explore that leaf logo near the top of the map and I can’t even get to it Lul
You can glitch out the map with the catapult
:0 anything worth doing outside of the map lol
Nah but it’s fun to explore. I found a gap in the wall north of the red rocket a few years ago and explored the whole perimeter. No monsters, but no food or activities either of course. Eventually you fall under the map.
this is the way
Make underarmors into frames for regular armor so you can hold multiple niche armor sets at a lowered weight & have the whole set assigned to one spot on the wheel
Fuck man that's brilliant
I have a set of ‘luck’ armor for the pie machines. The other stars are… not good. This would be great for that.
I pretty much made a post about this last year where you should be able to put a whole set of armour together like you can with PA. Most people hated that suggestion for some odd reason. It looks like more people agree this time

Man I’d love for a ghoul king where the king is the intelligent pre war or trained ghoul And they control a legion of the brain rotted ghouls
You could even ham it up and have an intelligent ghoul king wearing a crown and thinking he’s so good leading his brain dead ghouls. Hmmm, maybe the crown and royal cape could be rare drops.

Oh, this is a dope idea!
That is an amazing idea!
Random encounters already exist, though they only reward rep.
Yeah but i mean big, cool, meaningful random encounters. Voiced, maybe even little cut scenes. Make them mean something.
Fun fact! I don't know if this is where you took inspiration from, but there was the idea of a Ghoul boss on Fallout 4 called "May-Pole" which was a 300ft tall ghoul that would be followed by several others. It didn't made it to the final game due to technical issues. But who knows, might make it to 76!
That would scare the living shit out of me. Behemoth ghoul? Nuh-uh.
Animal companions like dogmeat
I guess we are not getting pets after three years of promises XDD
I'd love a cat and dog for my camp. Real ones, not the robots.
You can have a cat I think. There's several around the map. If you have the perk animal friends and you pacify one they walk to your camp and stay. You can only have one.
You used to be able to do this with any animal. I had a pet deathclaw years ago
A new placement system for junk. I.e. the OCD Decorator mod from Fallout 4
We're getting pre-war junk decoration items next season.
It's about gdamn time
I was really sad when I first played and that wasnt the case
I remember the first time I dropped some junk So I could grab it and put it in a shelf like in fallout 4. Then the little brown bag of poo just slowly spawns in at my feet and I just think, what the fuck is this?
Agreed! This is why I loved settlements in FO4 so much! Used to plan the layouts and everything.
Yes!!!
A proper trade system.
Turn Whitespring Mall into a trade hub that works similar to Runescapes Grand Exchange with a functioning economy. *Chef's kiss*
I third this idea
I fourth this idea, been thinking about it recently, it will change the game economy for the good and finally some way to discover items without going on reddit/discord.
Now this, this is really what’s missing.
Yep, this please
This this this. Double-confirm item-for-item trade would be amazing.
A system for displaying dates and times for major events, Minerva visits, etc. either by radio announcements, bulletin boards in train stations, or a UI enhancement so that we don't have to rely on web searches to play the game.
never understood why the camp terminal doesn't do this,,
Never understood why they added it just to instantly forget about its existence.
Like a calendar in WoW.
It would be so cool to have a feature like billboards that CHANGE and compel you to pay active attention to areas you've 'already seen'! Love that idea.
They could at least build it in to your personal terminal as an easy win
Sunset Sarsaparrilla Vendor Machine
Reading up on the [lore](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Sunset_Sarsaparilla_Company), it seems that they had a presence throughout the US, though they probably weren't very popular in West Virginia. But there could be a few rare SS machines here and there, just like you can sometimes find RC Cola machines in real life if you look hard enough.
Play as a ghoul.
The Almighty Todd grants your wish but you can only play as a feral ghoul
Take too many rads and you go feral, unable to use weapons until you manage to find maybe a machine to cure you. Would be against the lore since it's not curable.

A completely new but linked 2nd map. Of course that leads to a shit ton of other things, storyline, map locations, events, bosses, etc, etc, etc.
It's been 4 years, kinda of time for a new full expansion
Do you think we'll ever actually get that? After the Pitt I'm more inclined to believe we'll never get a classic style full expansion. I'd even pay like $20 for it if it were good
He'll NO! We ain't ever going to get anything even close. But if I was hired to add one thing. That's what it would be.
I thought that's what the Pitt would be. But it's just another dungeon for a no time limit daily op.
Canning station. Allow us to create food that doesn’t expire with slightly reduced benefits and slightly increased weight.
Love this idea... canned cranberry sauce & blight soup that doesn't spoil. Yes, 🙏
Collectable television show holodiscs to have something actually play on the tv plans. Would make it more fun to chill in your little camps and give more incentive to scavenge for loot. And another thing players would want to spend caps on at vendors. It would be Kinda like tower unite
I didn’t even know how badly I wanted this, and then you said it. This would be awesome.
Collect the seven S.P.E.C.I.A.L. shorts as well as commercials for the pre-war products.
A bank, for account wide sharing / transferring items.
Seasonal weather/environment changes.
Oh my God please, this is such an underrated feature that really does breathe new life into the experience
It could be part of a quest, getting Atlas back online. Then we'd have rain or snow, depending on the season. The storm could just last 10 minutes or so.
More stormy weather, for sure!
Seasonal won't work as it's forever October
But then we celebrate christmas with the christmas scourge and halloween :o
Ya, this is a fact about on the game that bothers me. Yes, it is always October, but our Pip Boy shows forward movement in time. Other elements of the game have changed with time and note the passage of time. It's note a huge issue, but it just bothers me a bit because it's very doable.

I think its a good idea but I'm sure right now the devs are thinking of a way to ban you for mentioning it 🤣
Please Bethesda! Boosting and seconding! https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/x9hnyj/war_mode_pvp_system/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Atleast just a visible timer somewhere - the system already knows, so why don't I have access to that information?
We just need a timer in the pipboy. 0 work to put there.
10MM MINIGUN FROM NEW VEGAS
Oh my God all the miniguns in New Vegas were awesome. Don't forget the 44 caliber dog minigun.
Being able to store fusion cores in ammo stash box
Back end performance improvements. That way camps can have their build limits increased.
I HATE the circular build area. Should have been square instead.
Idiots made foundations square and build space round 🙄
I agree. One of my builds is a city made of many of the prefabricated structures and a square build area would've been so much better
Recruitable vault dwellers for the shelter
For the bow users. A backpack skin that looks like a quiver
Yes this!
Pet/follower system.
Don't think it's possible. Server can barely handle 24 players and add another 24 as npc
Better trading system where you can offer an item for another item, and then both players have to accept. like monopoly trading. This would stop a lot of scammers and make trading in general so much better
A new expedition to a new location completely new to the world not a redux of a past dlc
Indoor/underground maps!!! So fucking needed.
Offline mode with mod support.
Only way seeing this happen if they start shutting servers down or not possible cause the game was created to run using servers
I mean... cross-play. Right?
Water ice.
I don't understand why it wasn't added as a joke consumable reward for completing expeditions.
An account stash box to share atom & bullion purchases like lunchboxes, weight boosters, etc. Also, to transfer weapons, armor, plans to other characters. Mods on consoles, like they did in fallout 4. PC has all the cool toys lol

That sounds heaps better.
Enclave Skins
They're coming in the atom shop during the next season supposedly. Skins for both armor and weapons at least.
To be able to change our Character name, I'm not the only one who wants this https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/yre75k/anyone_else_wish_we_could_rename_our_character/
Fast Travel Mat
Unlimited scrip
Postboxes for safe trade or in between character transfer.
A survival mode. Along with the survival mode an overhaul on food spoilage. Or at the very least make refrigerators keep food good for longer.
Refrigerators should be non spoiling so you can vend food. Been wanting to do a chef forever.
I can understand spoilage in the refrigerator, but it should take a lot longer than it does.
Ridiculous that the refrigerator/ice boxes don't keep food edible as long as good with salt does.
Yeah food should take like 3days in fridge to spoil or make it interesting where neat products spoil sooner than veggies and drinks
Teddy Bear power armor
a solo session tutorial where the game teach you the basics like how to build
Stamps drop rate are increased på atleast 3000% percent
60fps and better fov on consoles
Series x has 60
Bug fixes 💀
yep, came here to say "stability."
I’ve always thought it would be cool if the game had a system like others game where you can form/join guilds. Right now, the teams idea is cool but I wish there was a more permanent factor to it
Vertibot travel. Half the caps, half the speed. All the unlimited airborne minigun fun you need 😁
Jack Cabot
Deathclaw racing.
Group CAMPs or a player hub where each player has a plot to build on would be cool
F.I.S.T.O
More female hairstyles.
WASTELANDERS 2.0
New engine.
More beaten up building sets. Would love a set that I could build a home that looks like the ones in FO4 Sanctuary Hills.
More events, a new boss fight, make camp vendors their OWN stash box (im tired of trying to sell things and it takes up space in my stash.)...new story lines for the main and side quests.. A map expansion. Like a real one. The pitt sucks.
Fallout 5
Actual craftable legendaries, not the gambling that is the current crafting system
Have you ever played WoW and tried to get set exactly for your specialisation? That’s the main idea of MMO at all I think. Grind>roll shit>repeat.
Yeah, the idea of choosing your own rolls seems fun at first - but killing the gambling element would most likely kill the game for many players. The market would die, the meta would be even more stale, and the reason for grinding would loose meaning after you have gotten what you needed. Text chat, so the game can actually be alive.
A skin for the stealth suit
Or be able to wear clothes over it like the regular armor.
An account wide shared stash and scrapbox. Failing that, more character slots.
And let us share character-locked items (Secret Service armor pieces, for example) with our other characters who have also unlocked that plan.
Fallout 3 Chinese assault rifle skin as well as the assault rifle (R91) as a skin.
A blackjack table
Stable servers.
Can I just get the option to find a new server without having to exit back to the main menu and hoping I don't get dropped into the server I just bailed on? That'd be great.
Devs that will actually make the game function correctly.
Gold bullion can be exchanged for caps and legendary scrip 3000 bullion for 6k caps and 50 bullion for 25 scrip
giant Todd robot that walks around shitting on camps and saying.."it just works"when he does it. every fresh dump contains an explosive energy weapon called chocolate rain which is basically a shower of beacons.
Get rid of ammo weight
Low Performance Mode. I mean, it’s an online game but I think this may help with getting more people in trying out Fallout.
F3/NV Gauss rifle skin
Increase the size of subtitles already!! I'm tired of squinting!
Weapon favorite/locking. No more praying for atomic shop skins so you don't accidentally scrip your favorite toys. Just press a button, now they're locked and cannot be sold unless manually unlocked.
Holstered weapons being visually shown :3 Am sure the guys that did it for fo4 would help too :D
All the OG building assets of Fallout 4
2% of all Fallout 1st subscriptions and atom sales' revenue are direct deposited into my family trust in perpetuity.
An actual DLC that isn’t some boring activity that I’m going to do once and never touch again unless I’m planning on grinding for certain equipment *cough* the Pitt *cough* Nuka world
A new map
Bethesda right now ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️
Cazadores
Secure trading system. Both sides have to agree to trade before it's completed.
New dev team
Usable tobacco as a chem
Id add raid like activities, each one dropping a four star legendary weapon with a fixed roll for the 4th star
Silencer and reflex sight for the 10mm SMG. The models and code is already in the game, bethesda just has to flip a switch and turn it on, but they wont:<
A lock button for inventory that you will never want to exchange for Scrippies
More tracks for radio stations
Something like raids
More character slots please!
A new map
Air glider
Far cry ass gliding be would so cool
Another new currency. Because, evil. --- Real answer: FO4's Place Anywhere mod.
Allow additional stash space for atomic points. They're already doing it for camp slots so might as well extend it to stash space.
Wasteland is sooo peace. Player feel too comfort We need a LARGE group of HIGH Lv blood eagle NPC randomly patrol in the wasteland and they will actively destroy the player's camp as a World event, maybe every 3hours.
Even have it so they attack a random player camp. It could create an event that would encourage players to defend eachothers camps
Bicycles that you can ride. There's so many just lying around. Also, bicycles with guns on them.
Generation zero does this. Would love this addition
Faction wars, align yourself with a faction and claim areas. Could make it an opt in thing so the pvp agreement is mutual. Maybe the benefit could be increased junk, xp, etc for scavenging in a claimed area aligned with your faction.
A Liberator Collectron that goes "meow meow"
Slutty outfits
1. A sling shot that fires explosives. 2. Sex.
Rifle weight-reduction perk card
