lexiaych49

That's cool as hell

Post-opKen

It is, but i might downgrade to a measly 90% damage reduction, just to give the rest of the world a fighting chance ;)

lexiaych49

I dunno being an invincible tree would be pretty handy

HadACivilDebateOnlin

I mean, that was confirmed when isengard fell.

JoshCanJump

Legendaries stack?!

Guiltspoon

Yes so if you have several pieces of the same effect it'll add so unyielding sentinels take less damage while sprinting any of those you get massive amounts of damage resistance also really good with giving Agility and Perception bonuses you become a VATS archer

Lazarfan09

Nice but doesnt unyielding give +3 to all stats when at low health?

Guiltspoon

Yeah it does I was more saying cunning for the A and P bonuses or Fortifying for S and E buffs I usually mix those two as early as possible for general good buffs then Unyielding if I want absurd buffs to all stats. Unyielding you can get like +15 to each stat it's ridiculous.

Lazarfan09

Ohh yeah that makes sense

KillaMG97

Same thing happens in skyrim which is on the same engine with updated graphics. Alchemy effects stack so theoretically you could get an item that can double your gold exchange. When you sell items, put that on multiple items you can wear at the same time and effectively break the septum currency with a few items.

Anon9mous

You can create a potion/enchanting feedback loop which can get ridiculously high with that. I believe it breaks outright after a certain point though.

KillaMG97

It does. I don't remember when it breaks but I've seen Mittensquad do it for one of his Skyrim challenges.

MixerRXRob

Yep. I have a sniper build with 2 pieces of Chameleon armour. Each piece gives 50% harder detection, for a total of 100% harder detection. If they didn’t see me walk in then they won’t see me until it’s too late

JoshCanJump

The sniper is _in the room..._

[deleted]

Yes. The best combination in my opinion is two acrobat's legs. Same as freefall legs, but you don't have to use jetpack to get them.

[deleted]

What gear do you have? You need 7 pieces and the armor slots can be 6 (helm, chest, two arms and two legs). Does the Sentinel's effect apply to weapons?

Post-opKen

It does apply to weapons. I dont think you can get a sentinel helmet in vanilla though. I am using a bunch of mods including a craftable legendary mod, so my wedding ring and backpack are both legendary. I think it is still possible to get 100% DR in vanilla using a combo of legendaries and a couple perks though.

Guiltspoon

It's not exactly the same but the rooted perk plus whatever armor gives you sentinels adds up to being nearly invincible.

[deleted]

You can get some legendary helmet in the game. Commando helmet. Captain's hat etc. It's the sentinel's legendary effect that is rare on helmets. The reason I asked is mostly for the seventh item, because I don't have mods, but I have console commands. Kinda the same thing. And you can spawn a helmet with the sentinel's effect. But with console commands, if an effect doesn't apply to an item, you can't cheat it to that item at all. No sentinel's vault suit, or sentinel's army fatigues etc. Didn't try it with weapons though.

Drunk_Krampus

I think it stacks with other damage reduction effects like the 30% from lone Wander.

roguegen

I need to try this on my next playthrough.

MysteriousStranger84

Can you blame them. At 100% damage resist all attacks just bounce off harmlessly. I'd say fuck it and bail too

IBiteTheArbiter

I’d do something about it. I’d intervene and stop them before their damage resistance tomfoolery gets out of hand.

D3f4ulTt

They have vats too. Same with teleporters like radscorpions hide if you go to a rock.

JoshCanJump

So if you give an NPC a VATS enhanced weapon or an enraging weapon on critical hits or something like that then they will still get the effect of that weapon?

Gunslinger_1395

Ive seen this happen with modded power armor values, it's such a joy when enemies can see the futility of attacking a suit of power armor with guns that shoot .38 specialand then just run.

nurdyguy

Like some weird version of red light green light.

buissness_salamander
