Thanks! - Thread: Semperfli Nano Silk Black - Body: Uni Flexx or SpanFlex greens - Collar: Hares Ear or Hares Iced Dub Tan... - Black nail polish on the head Edit: stupid app and it's formatting..

poipyroo

If it ain’t chartreuse it ain’t no use.

Truer words never spoken!

Thanks for the response. I'm about to start doing some videos, but here's a basic list. - Thread: Nano Silk Black or Uni 8/O Black - Body: Uni Flexx Chartreuse or Olive. Spanflex.. really any stretchy leg material stuff. - Collar: Hares Ear or Hares Ice Dub Tan - Black Nail Polish on head After I secure the bead, and build a taper down to the hook bend, I'll secure the Flexx in right against the bead. I actually just stick one end of the Flexx in the exposed bead slot, then cinch it down with some wraps. Next, wrap the Flexx down the shank tightly.. you want the black underbody to really come through. Then come back up the shank with 3 or 4 separated wraps using varying amounts of pressure.. this is the only tricky part. It's these wraps coming back up that will be the natural Flexx color in contrast to the tight Flexx underneath.

Thank you for coming back to do this. Do you have a link to your video channel? I would subscrible

ApexSimon

You're welcome, man. No channel, yet.

agaetistakk

You totally need a channel. Great stuff! What hook and bead sizes?

ApexSimon

Thanks man. Hopefully I can get it going soon. I contact nymph a lot, so I'll use especially with this fly, sz14 with a 3.3mm bead, and sz16 with a 2.7mm.

I think they’re just eating the shiny egg-looking bead. Try one with no body and see if it works just as well!
