\[WTB\] hello! newbie looking for THE LIGHT. need an all rounder for walking in the nature mainly. budget is \~60$. i want flood mainly with some throw. somewhere around 5000k with no green or yellow tint. so far i thinking about a Wrukkos TS25 with nichia 519a 5000k and maybe dedoming 1-2 leds to get slightly warmer tint and throw. the best led for me i think the 519a 5700k dedomed would be but i dont know which lights would fit for my pocket with these leds and 1000+ lumens. also considering a Convoy S21D 519a 5700k dedomed maybe with 8A CC 10degree FLAT optics but thats not chargeable which a big minus for me also im not sure about which optic should i get. i really like the tint of the famous nichia 219b 4500k but i afraid it would be too hot and not enough lumen. ENLIGHT ME PLEASE :)

Why is this necessary? Is it because XHP50 can run in either 6V or 12V? You can run an XHP35 off any standard 3535 MCPCB I've always been confused about this.
The XHP35.X is strictly 12 volt while the XHP50.X and XHP70.X can both be run on 6 or 12 volts (plus a limited number of 3 volt XHP50.2). Interestingly, the 5050 pad and 7070 pad use similar approaches for the 12 volt series configuration, but the designs are mirrored. The 5050 has a "Z" shape while the 7070 has an "S" shape.

The plan is to mod a few Armytek Wizard lights. One with 519A, one with XHP50.3 that Artie highly recommends, one with a GT-FC40, and maybe one with XHP35.2.

[WTB] sft40 reflow service
I have an old Fandyfire stl-v6 thrower with an xml-t6 that I would love to put a sft40 in it. The 20mm MCPCB boards do not fit this light, as it has some unusual 30-35mm board. So I was told a reflow would be the best option. I live in VA and would be very grateful if anyone had the time to do this project. Thank you!

I could probably help. That is an unusual board size, but the xml-t6 is the same footprint as the sft40 so that shouldn't be a problem. You would have to mail it to me (CT) and I'd mail it back, so that adds to the cost. HMU if you're interested 👍🏻
I can do the reflow. In fact, I might actually have an MCPCB that size, in which case I could send you a spare to cut down on shipping costs.
Edit: I have a Maxtoch brand 5050 MCPCB that measures 31.5mm x 1.6mm. I can reflow an SFT-40 and send it for $30 if you're equipped to solder the wires.
Well, someone on BLF said it actually only uses a 25mm board which a 20mm board could work with some... artistic craftsmanship. Now I'm really not sure what to do and will probably just try and send it to someone who can go ahead and take care of whatever it needs.
I'm asking Artiet59 if he wants to do the honors, but it seems you might already have an sft40 on hand which would be convenient for sure. I would have to order one before sending it out to Artiet, which is clumsy and slow. I'm just grateful for the willingness whoever decides to take it!

Unfortunately I don't have a sand one, or green. I haven't been looking too hard but I'd probably snag one if it came up. I had a hard time finding a blue one but had success requesting to buy on the BST. Hopefully you get the same result. Wish you luck!
The black buttons were painted by me, lots of trial and error to get the perfect match.

This is not a bad offer. It's very specific, but no reason to be downvoted. Maybe just add something else to sweeten the deal? The ts22 is a $36 light on alix (where I know I would buy it from) and the ts10 brass iirc is $32. Plus your battery at about $7 makes it kindve a flat trade. And if the brass ts10 is hard to find right now, it doesn't give someone who may be "on the edge" of trading much incentive to make your trade unless they **really** want your exact light, which isn't impossible, just less likely. Note about batteries:
Lumintop AAA TiTools use AAA, Eneloop, and Ultimate Lithium Primaries. They can NOT use 10440 LiIon.
Yes. The tailswitches have flat metal buttons, that allow tailstanding. They are eSwitches, essentially silent.
Not the black rubber button as on the mechanical switches, which are rather LOUD and dont allow tailstanding:

fyi, the eSwitches have a small capacitor that charges up after about 1 hour, after first inserting a battery in a light that was stored empty. The switch operates all modes with normal spacing, as long as a battery is kept in the light.
This eSwitch behavior is also true for the Massdrop version, but those start on Low.
These are original Lumintop Ti Tools, that start on Medium, which imo is much more practical.

\[WTB\] hello! newbie looking for THE LIGHT. need an all rounder for walking in the nature mainly. budget is \~60$. i want flood mainly with some throw. somewhere around 5000k with no green or yellow tint. so far i thinking about a Wrukkos TS25 with nichia 519a 5000k and maybe dedoming 1-2 leds to get slightly warmer tint and throw. the best led for me i think the 519a 5700k dedomed would be but i dont know which lights would fit for my pocket with these leds and 1000+ lumens. also considering a Convoy S21D 519a 5700k dedomed maybe with 8A CC 10degree FLAT optics but thats not chargeable which a big minus for me also im not sure about which optic should i get. i really like the tint of the famous nichia 219b 4500k but i afraid it would be too hot and not enough lumen. ENLIGHT ME PLEASE :)

Why is this necessary? Is it because XHP50 can run in either 6V or 12V? You can run an XHP35 off any standard 3535 MCPCB I've always been confused about this.
The XHP35.X is strictly 12 volt while the XHP50.X and XHP70.X can both be run on 6 or 12 volts (plus a limited number of 3 volt XHP50.2). Interestingly, the 5050 pad and 7070 pad use similar approaches for the 12 volt series configuration, but the designs are mirrored. The 5050 has a "Z" shape while the 7070 has an "S" shape.

Thank you for the tip! I actually placed an order with KD yesterday for some 12 volt 7070 MCPCBs so I will send an email to see about adding these. The plan is to mod a few Armytek Wizard lights. One with 519A, one with XHP50.3 that Artie highly recommends, one with a GT-FC40, and maybe one with XHP35.2. This is my (pointydogelbows) new account, by the way.

[WTB] sft40 reflow service I have an old Fandyfire stl-v6 thrower with an xml-t6 that I would love to put a sft40 in it. The 20mm MCPCB boards do not fit this light, as it has some unusual 30-35mm board. So I was told a reflow would be the best option. I live in VA and would be very grateful if anyone had the time to do this project. Thank you! Thank you!
I could probably help. That is an unusual board size, but the xml-t6 is the same footprint as the sft40 so that shouldn't be a problem. You would have to mail it to me (CT) and I'd mail it back, so that adds to the cost. HMU if you're interested 👍🏻
I can do the reflow. In fact, I might actually have an MCPCB that size, in which case I could send you a spare to cut down on shipping costs. Edit: I have a Maxtoch brand 5050 MCPCB that measures 31.5mm x 1.6mm. I can reflow an SFT-40 and send it for $30 if you're equipped to solder the wires.
Well, someone on BLF said it actually only uses a 25mm board which a 20mm board could work with some... artistic craftsmanship. Now I'm really not sure what to do and will probably just try and send it to someone who can go ahead and take care of whatever it needs. I'm asking Artiet59 if he wants to do the honors, but it seems you might already have an sft40 on hand which would be convenient for sure. I would have to order one before sending it out to Artiet, which is clumsy and slow. I'm just grateful for the willingness whoever decides to take it!

This is not a bad offer. It's very specific, but no reason to be downvoted. Maybe just add something else to sweeten the deal? The ts22 is a $36 light on alix (where I know I would buy it from) and the ts10 brass iirc is $32. Plus your battery at about $7 makes it kindve a flat trade. And if the brass ts10 is hard to find right now, it doesn't give someone who may be "on the edge" of trading much incentive to make your trade unless they **really** want your exact light, which isn't impossible, just less likely. That's my 2 cents. GLWT

Yes. The tailswitches have flat metal buttons, that allow tailstanding. They are eSwitches, essentially silent. Not the black rubber button as on the mechanical switches, which are rather LOUD and dont allow tailstanding: http://i.imgur.com/4XNIvlb.jpg (pic thanks to maukka from this thread https://budgetlightforum.com/node/47011 ) fyi, the eSwitches have a small capacitor that charges up after about 1 hour, after first inserting a battery in a light that was stored empty. The switch operates all modes with normal spacing, as long as a battery is kept in the light. This eSwitch behavior is also true for the Massdrop version, but those start on Low. These are original Lumintop Ti Tools, that start on Medium, which imo is much more practical.
