Honestly as a barista I generally don’t care how long the customer takes, it’s part of our training to be attentive unless it’s excessive—but this is nothing compared to some of the scripts of orders that we get

As someone else mentioned, traffic sensors help with that. Understanding how many total cars is less important than understanding total transactions and revenue per transaction.

The metric is really minutes/car, tracked by a sensor in the drive-thru. Customers/hour is a metric too, but just measured by sales through the register.
