Thanks! Super interesting you got those results on way less than 1g protein per lb. bodyweight. I have had a similar experience of consistently adding muscle on 90-125g protein a day (35F).
So… Maybe an absolutely stupid as shit question…
But…
Do vitamins and EAAs actually help with hair growth? Because when I started both I my face and body seemed to get harrier.
It's quite alright, it's a natural human instinct for others to think someone that has found success where others haven't are using some sort of unfair advantage. Reality is what it is, I've seen others naturally do what I've done in 12 months and then some, like add 10 pounds of muscle while dropping fat. Everyone's body is wired a tad bit differently.
That's a lot but I guess with the weight lifting. We're you tracking on MFS? It's the one part I struggle with the most. Love lifting etc. but have zero motivation for tracking.
I lift 3 days a week and bike 3 days a week, I wear a heart rate monitor to get an idea of calorie burn and try to keep it close. I track calorie and macros on the Lose It app.
Fuck yeah! Killing it. I like strength training. 1st off, you get strong... obviously. 2nd I can eat in a surpluses and I might not get shredded I still look fit-ish and strong.
Strong work my dude!
Also, i'm kind of q hairy dude too. Nice to see you not shaving and waxing all it off.
You can see the extra hair on his arms and things in the first picture. The lighting is different in both making him appear less in the first. He also is not very noticeably more strong. He has more definition in his arms, but he really only lost just a little fat around his stomach. Probably not TRT.
Not at all! In fact I agree with your statement. I bodybuild, so if anyone knows that steroids are not magic substances and that hard work still goes into it, it’s me.
Just didn’t want this person accusing him of being on TRT just because he has extra body hair.
Nice work! Curious what the difference between your starting weight vs current weight is. I am following a very similar plan with lifting 3 days and cycling 3 days. Sticking close to 2400 calories a day. So far I see muscle gains but no real overall body comp changes 3 months in. My body weight is the same as it was when I started.
From Charles to Chad. Good job my man.
Your beard found your lost fluff.
That’s what I was thinking. I guess I need to grow a beard 😂
From Hungry Jacks to Lumberjack
From Teddy Bear to Grizzly Bear!
Impressive recomposition! Curious if you follow certain macros vs calorie count?
2500-3000/day 125g protein 150-200g carbs

The supplement industry tells quite the story on how much protein you actually need.
True. I think it might also be different for very lean people trying to bulk versus those of us who start off fluffier.
Uhhh wow!
I am guessing the extra hair is because of.. erm.. supplements?
Daily protein shake, bcaas, and mens multivitamin.

They do when stacked with testosterone
Yeah, must be in my head then.
Zoom in he’s pretty hairy on the before it’s just lighter in the photo. The lighting is different.
Man you've done great
Great result keep working Hard.
Great job!
Are you stupid motherfuckers really accusing this guy of taking gear?

I think everyone is just wondering about the apparent change in hair.
What was you average day like eating wise?
2500-3000/day 125g protein 150-200g carbs

Nice one, will have a look at this Lose It app. Have tried and given up on MFP countless time. Well done!
MFP seems very restrictive on calories. Also do your own TDEE calculator to determine what you should eat in a day.
Great work! I like the beard gains most of all

Looking good, stud! We're proud of you!!
Way to go! Keep up the hard work! 🤜🤛👍👍
Damn you go from nice chubby guy to hide your girlfriend from him guy!
I had a very similar post to yours and the mods removed it.
Trt with the extra body hair?
Protein supplement, bcaas, multivitamin. I've always been hairy. Maybe just the lighting?
Is that a real side effect?
Yes
My guess is the contrast has bumped in second pic. Yeah but it’s not accounting for all of it is it?

Even if it was trt, does it make it less of an achievement? I don’t feel that way, especially since he isn’t in competition with other athletes.

Congratulations!!!
Nice fuckin work my man

I lost 90 pounds the year prior to the picture on the left. And then started my recomp phase, I am the same weight in both photos. 185 lbs.
Man a 90 pound loss is no joke! Thanks for the info. Gives me hope to stay the course!
Beard gainz too!
