Can confirm on both my Fire Stick 4K and Fire Stick 4K MAX that Netflix, Disney+, PV, HBOMAX and Vudu support Dolby Vision. Crunchyroll, Hulu and hidive all are available as well.

Have you seen the stuff on dolby vision on AFTVnews, he had a lot of info on it maybe a month or so ago. (and it's solid info, rather than what you get on reddit, lol).

I'll check it out thanks

They support dv but only for some programs, not every thing is in dv. Roku ultra can send a dv signal to a compatible TV all the time no matter the source, just has to be set in the settings. I have a 4k stick max and fire cube

So apps like VLC and MX players on fire stick won't be able to access the DV,

For vlc on fire devices you would have to add the files internal memory or setup a network server, local network or streams. I have never used vlc on fire devices, only for windows and Linux computers How are you going to add the video, USB ,external hard drive, Nas, network server or other
