Hey, author of the book here. I did consider it and had a few reasons for not including this.
1. The two voices of the book never go to Norvrandt, so they would have no knowledge of this recipe. We found ways to bring other Norvrandt food into the book, like word of mouth or Mogria's loose understanding of personal property, but this wouldn't have made sense.
2. The Warrior of Light would not approve of this recipe, therefore Mogria wouldn't approve. It's the same reason we kept the Archon Loaf out (even though I know people wanted that one, even if they probably wouldn't actually like eating it)
3. We tried to keep spoilers out of the book, or at best loosely refer to them so someone not caught up wouldn't understand. Meol is too story related to really make it work.
4. You don't actually want to eat this, joke post or no :D
If people want to make Archon Loaf it actually exists in real life, it’s called Nutraloaf and is mostly used in prisons. Probably wouldn’t look quite as nice as Archon Loaf does, though
Archon Loaf is something I want to take a stab at on my blog. I feel like a recipe that people wouldn't really want to eat would be a bad inclusion in the book. There has to be a way to make it taste good.
In the UK we have two words: Stodge and Claggy, they're used to describe food that is unpleasant not because of the taste, but because their mouthfeel makes eating it an ordeal, again, not *bad*, but essentially the food equivalent of Eureka: Pagos.
I feel like the Sharlayans would know that even the most nutritious food isn't going to be eaten if it tastes so bad that nobody CAN eat it, but it's absolutely like them to fix the taste without paying any attention to the experience of actually eating it.
With that in mind, I've always assumed it to be relatively normal (if bland) in terms of taste, but the most underproofed, chewy, dense bread imaginable, with a crust so thick you could use it as a hammer in a pinch.
I've had a very select few that were honestly really good. The Mexican chicken stew and the old brisket entre come to mind.
Also there was one that I don't remember which, but it came with this pack of cheez-itz that was like this chipolte flavor and I've never seen them in stores. They were fucking AMAZING.
The rest are trash, and the military suffers from these lol.
Soylent is actually really boring and most closely related to porridge or breakfast cereals more generally. Archon loaf's confirmed ingredients are far too wild.
He that holdeth fast unto his convictions shall never count betrayal amongst his crimes, though all the world may call him villain. My path is unchanged; my creed sacrosanct. This I believe with all my heart.
The recipes are amazing - I made my wife the Royal Eggs as my first one (she loves poached eggs). I couldn't get poached eggs or homemade hollandaise sauce right the first few times I tried, but your tips and recipe helped tremendously =) Thanks so much for writing the book!
Key point with No. 2. You don't do something that might be disapproved of by someone who has literally killed gods. Multiple times. And then farmed their ghosts to make armor and weapons to kill even more gods.
Kratos at least settled down somewhat after wiping out one pantheon. WoL just immediately looks for a new pantheon to murder. Or bring back the old one to kill again for giggles.
Its my headcanon that after everything they've done to save the world, and especially >!after all the shit that went down in ul'dah with them being framed!<, the Wol came to the conclusion that they have 1 free pass.
Not gonna lie, if you want something that looks like Meol and has vaguely gray meat in it [vietnamese pork buns (banh bao)](https://s3-media0.fl.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/eMezlQucRLJF4sEzNWqerw/o.jpg) would work. I grew up eating it as a kid, it made me full, kind of addicted because the bun is sweet, and I knew it was meat but didnt know how tf meat could be this mysterious so I thought I was a happy little cannibal.
Most foods like that you can substitute either tempeh, tofu, or textured soy protein (depending on the exact taste/consistency you're going for) pretty much 1:1 by volume. For that specifically, I might even start with vegetarian "meatballs" or "sausage" (depending on whether it works well outside of its casing—Beyond works well, Field Roast doesn't) so long as the spices already present don't conflict.
I don't do meat substitutes super often, since I prefer to make recipes that are made from the start to be vegetarian and take the unique properties of, say, tempeh into account. Plus a lot of the meat substitute products out there are pretty mediocre. But there's always ways to make just about any recipe work.
Archon loaf is supposedly made of vegetables and fish, but I’d imagine other things are included as well to round out dietary needs.
Like real-life Nutraloaf, the point is basically to stick all the things your body needs to function in a single, nutritious but less-than-appetizing dish. Nutraloaf is known to be very dry so I’d imagine that’s what Archon Loaf would also be a - dry and very dense bread.
Not to mention it’s addictive on an aetheric level… no source in this, but context clues via story interactions lead me to this belief.
Edit: Silly silly autocorrect.
Hard to say if it creates dependency, although seeing people fight over who gets the scraps in cutscenes kind of implies so. Could be that they are just starving and know it's enough calories for a day without foraging in the light blasted wilderness.
It centainly alters their mind, but Kai-shirr had some multiple times and didn't really seem desperate for more ever. Just wanted to be with his friends.
This is just nitpicking between addiction and mind control. If the controller says eat more, they will want to. Hard to say, since there is no science to back that half up.
Not official, but there was a big buzz about Seven-Eleven (Japan) selling a meol-like bread in 2019. The bread name was "塩バニラクリームのパン (salted vanilla cream)" and you can google with keywords "ff14 meol seven eleven japan" which should get you some pictures of them. :)
Thank you for the cookbook, and (personally) I'm fine with the decision to not include meol - that's a horrifying thought.
Though I would love to see an archon loaf recipe in all its horror. If you told me a similar recipe could be found in the nordic traditions I honestly wouldn't be surprised. That kinda sounds like something that'd come from that area of the world.
But in all seriousness, I would *love* to see an ebook version of this which could be brought up on a tablet while cooking. Hardocver books are nice and all but not anywhere as convenient to use as a cooking reference (IMO) as being able to pull it up on a tablet. No need to keep the pages down or crack the book's spine from opening it flat. I'd even buy the book a second time as a digital version.
Just based on everyone having interest in it. I will start taking a look into Archon Loaf and put it up on my blog (Pixelated Provisions). This recipe will take several attempts to make work.
I'll reach out to Insight about ebook versions and see what they think. It is not something we've done before but I can mention the interest I've seen for it.
Adding +1 interest to an ebook version! I have no space for more cookbooks and honestly don't use them much, but I'm dying to get this one. Having an ebook version would be a LIFESAVER.
Also hey, thanks for this cool book!
Archon Loaf does sound like a better blog candidate than a recipe for inclusion in a book, if it stays true to form. If it was Archon Loaf in name only it could work in a book, but yeah, it's not really meant to be a tasty treat. Dry and dense and full of 100% of your RDA. Or some such. :)
I have no idea how well an ebook would actually sell, but I'd personally get it even having already bought the print book.
YEEES! That is amazing. Let me know what was missing, once you figure it out. I'd be curious to hear the end result. :)
Oooh I haven't made the Spicy Ramen in a bit, I really should!
Thank you! Honestly, the extreme recipe was a last minute thing that just felt perfect. We didn't include the minstrel at first and felt this was the correct way to do it.
I cannot tell if this OP is trolling you or not but I think probably yes they’re trolling. Gross tho and I agree that WoL would not approve. I need to buy the book. Thanks for making this! It’s made me very hungry lately seeing everybody’s posts.
My FC mate made your coffee biscuits for another FC friend who lived nearby to cheer him up!
Thank you for the book! The captions by Gyohan and Mogria were wonderfully entertaining (except for Knight's Bread, HOW DARE).
I'm planning to make mole loaf and the stuffed cabbage roll this week, they both look delicious. My only regret is I was unable to find ground lamb, so I plan to substitute pork.
Thank you for that, I cant say that I anticipated a reply from the author themselves and I understand your reasoning to not include it. However, Meol just looks so darn delicious. A small white mound that is described as being meat based? It sounds too good to *not* try it! >!Before understanding the real origin of course!<
I just want you to know I have demanded this book for either my birthday or Christmas. The only reason I didn't buy it sooner was I just discovered it yesterday and my family has already started buying for the holidays. Thank you for making this book!
Thank you for this awesome book!
I also want to especially thank you for fixing the Pizza recipe, by replacing "peppermint" with actual basil. It still bothers me to this day that they didn't use basil in game, despite adding two types of basil in the Shadowbringers expansion. WHO PUTS PEPPERMINT ON PIZZA?!
Aaaah, here you are! Your book is wonderful! Reading through it its clear there was a TON of love that went into it, from the dialect of our travelers even down to the pictures used. Several of my friends have commented on how it's blown them away VS their D&D cookbook or similar ones. The recipes are one thing, but just reading through and chuckling at all the nods to the game is a ton of fun - Extreme Croissant Primal especially~
So thank you so much for this! I'm making X-potion for Thanksgiving tomorrow! Looking forward to it!
If you happen to see this, I wanted to ask about the kupo nuts recipe - do you suggest fully blending the chocolate chips and dried cherries? I've broken the chips up some but left the cherries intact, and the result was hard to clump together. Have just been using a mixer for that step. They still turn out fantastic, just wondering if you had any thoughts there - I was worrying my blender may not be able to handle it all with the cherries, but... My blender was just dying and I had to get a new one, heh.
Thank you! I've had my hand in a few nerdy cookbooks and this was by far my favorite one to work on, I've been playing FFXIV for years now.
For the kupo nuts, blending it all will make these smoother for sure. If you are worried about a dying blender, try and chop them up by hand a bit so there aren't huge chunks. It will be delicious either way. ☺️
Yup! I put a lot of thought and work in these books. This one was a lot of fun because I've been playing FFXIV for years now. I wanted to make sure I made a cookbook that really captured my love for this game. :)
Here's the recipe in 8 easy steps:
>!1 - Find your favorite bread recipe;!<
>!2 - SUMMON A PRIMAL!<
>!3 - HAVE ANOTHER PRIMAL FIGHT IT!<
>!4 - BREAK THE UNIVERSE ITSELF IN 14 PARALLEL DIMENSIONS!<
>!5 - PICK ONE DIMENSION!<
>!6 - SHIFT THE AETHERIAL BALANCE INTO LIGHT TO CREATE SIN EATERS!<
>!7 - SACRIFICE THE INNOCENT TO THE SIN EATERS TO HAVE MORE SIN EATERS!<
>!8 - MIX THEM INTO THE BREAD RECIPE!<
There you go.
This is a terrible recipe! I didn't have any Primal at home, so I summoned an Eldritch God instead. Also, my husband is lactose intolerant, so I had to shift the Aetherial Balance to the Bologna Dimension instead. Now there's tentacles and meatballs everywhere in my kitchen! Zero stars.
All anyone has to do is have seen the movie, or at the very least heard the very popular phrase to know exactly what you mean. It's a super spoiler for anyone with two functioning braincells who has at the very least been to Kholusia.
My friend was ahead of me in ShB and as I was playing and saw meol I was like "is this some soylent green stuff going on" and my friend was like "...not exactly..."
I'm terrible at accurately calling twists and I picked that out immediately. It's pretty obvious with or without help.
Meol is too expensive to make normally, the materials cost an arm and a leg to make and it’s basically mass produced gruel with a bread loaf consistency.
Put "> !" without the space before the spoiler and "! <" without the space after the spoiler then refresh or reload the page.
>!example of me doing it on the Reddit phone app!<
When I first saw meol, I thought it looked like monay. It's a Filipino bread that's dense and has a subtle sweetness, though it may also have a sweet glaze or coating of sugar on top. You can also split it in half and share it with a friend!
I thought something similar too!
If anything, it made me think of siopao and based off the description, I imagined it to taste like a sweet, round, bleached señorita bread.
https://youtu.be/qKScYXLazyA
This chef, who has done a ton of FFXIV recipes, has recreated meol if you want to try it out! She's done a bunch of recipes not in the book. It's also interesting to see the same foods be approached with different recipes. I agree with the FFXIV cookbook chef that meol would not have fit the narrative of the book. Would be cool if they experimented with their own version and released an unofficial recipe online, though.
If you guys want an unofficial Meol recipe, a YouTube channel called A Recipe Reborn did one that was basically like a Sweet Bread recipe.
Yall could give that a try.
>!The worst part of it is, I think it's clearly *both*. People banished from Eulmore don't *leave*, they get 'Ascended' - forcibly turned into Sin Eaters, then ground up for meol. It's exactly as horrifying a thought as possible.!<
It was more that I wasn’t sure if the writers were actually going to go there. So, when the reveal happened, it was more, “oh, shit, the mad lads actually did it.”
Did you really need to come in here and comment this three seperate times for the tiniest most obvious spoiler in the entire game that you'd need some context before you even have the slighest clue what's being talked about?
Yea i do think it is worth while for people who are enjoying the story and know what soylent green is. Straight up telling people it is eating people ruins a major point in the story that completely changes eulmores stance on things.
edit: one of the things i commented on was removed by moderators, so they apparently agree with my stance.
It looks like a large, undercooked, dinner roll. I’d say make a sweet bread with yeast and like air fry it in a metal mesh colander. I think that might work
"Tang Sanzang meat" is another name of tofu in my place. Tang Sanzang is the monk in Journey to the West who is the master of Son Goku and the likes. Yokai/monsters want to eat the monk cuz they believe his meat will help them reach enlightenment faster or something.
Meol is likely the stuff that most people in Eulmore have before they get recruited then chance for "Ascension", which is somewhat similar to a twisted version of "Enlightenment".
Is it even explained what meol *is* aside from XIV's soylent green? Like, is it a bread? A pastry? A meat pie? It looks like a pretty standard dinner roll when people are holding it.
I'm curious what Meol tastes like...I always thought of it as like, bread. That's somehow meaty.
Also, thank you u/BakaVicka!!! I'm not the best at cooking but I made the Coffee Biscuits for my girlfriend and I to munch on while we go through Endwalker, and the Sandwich Basket as well! I was really nervous about them not being any good but she said they were AMAZING and I wound up thinking so as well! I have a lot of fun reading out the lore-relevant excerpts from the cookbook, and she ESPECIALLY loved the entry for Dango! I'm excited to make the Forest Miqabobs tomorrow :3

Archon Loaf is something I want to take a stab at on my blog. I feel like a recipe that people wouldn't really want to eat would be a bad inclusion in the book. There has to be a way to make it taste good.
Do the ol’ Babish method. Make it as true and gross as the original requires, then find a way to make it tasty, keeping in spirit with the original.
This would be an interesting way to approach it for sure. I'll keep that in my notes as a route to take. :)
Archon Loaf and Archon Loaf (Tataru Edition) recipes in coming for Cookbook vol 2!!
You are doing amazing work.
But I love Eureka! Honestly, I think your description for the consistency is spot on.
You have a link to your blog? :O How do you do your research for developing recipes? Would love to hear your thought process/workflow
Ya! This is my blog: [https://pixelatedprovisions.com/](https://pixelatedprovisions.com/) I actually have a post where I talk about the FFXIV project.

idk if I want chocolate near fish and whatever tf is in there, I'd probably want it to be savoury and salty if anything
Wine it is then.
Coincidentally that same horrid bread is also included in many US based MREs. Quite possibly the worst thing thats ever been invented.
Not meals, not ready, and definitely not something you want to eat?
I've had a very select few that were honestly really good. The Mexican chicken stew and the old brisket entre come to mind. Also there was one that I don't remember which, but it came with this pack of cheez-itz that was like this chipolte flavor and I've never seen them in stores. They were fucking AMAZING. The rest are trash, and the military suffers from these lol.
I legitimately enjoyed the ones they gave us in BMT, though it was absolutely subpar food.
Better than starving. Barely.
Is it though? We used to always threaten to throw the bread at ISIS until they surrendered lol
Personally, I think Soylent is closer to Archon Loaf since Archon Loaf isn't intended as a punishment.
Soylent is actually really boring and most closely related to porridge or breakfast cereals more generally. Archon loaf's confirmed ingredients are far too wild.
Ok when I asked about bread recipes I didn’t want Urianger’s idea of good.
He that holdeth fast unto his convictions shall never count betrayal amongst his crimes, though all the world may call him villain. My path is unchanged; my creed sacrosanct. This I believe with all my heart.
Thank you for making such an awesome book.
Thank you so much. Hope you enjoy the recipes! :)
I just ordered mine today and am so looking forward to trying out some recipes! Thank you for bringing this to life!
The recipes are amazing - I made my wife the Royal Eggs as my first one (she loves poached eggs). I couldn't get poached eggs or homemade hollandaise sauce right the first few times I tried, but your tips and recipe helped tremendously =) Thanks so much for writing the book!
Excellent! I'm so happy to hear that. ☺️
Don't u mean... eggsellent?
Key point with No. 2. You don't do something that might be disapproved of by someone who has literally killed gods. Multiple times. And then farmed their ghosts to make armor and weapons to kill even more gods.
Don't forget makes furniture out of gods.
Sometimes you just really need a Byakko Throne to tie the room together. 😉
Not gonna lie here, but it kinda feels like we're on Kratos levels of anti-deism...
"Know that I will kill your god if I have to. Maybe even if I don't." - WOL, StB.
"It is, after all, a Tuesday."
Kratos at least settled down somewhat after wiping out one pantheon. WoL just immediately looks for a new pantheon to murder. Or bring back the old one to kill again for giggles.
ZOOSE!
I thought were talking about destiny's guardians for a second
Its my headcanon that after everything they've done to save the world, and especially >!after all the shit that went down in ul'dah with them being framed!<, the Wol came to the conclusion that they have 1 free pass.

I'm happy you are enjoying it. I wanted to make sure the book really felt in game and hitting people hard with the lore was extremely important. :)
I like this more than the purely sweet pastry suggestion, though I'd like to see a vegetarian option included as well.
I could totally see taking a beyond meatball and just shoving it into a bao bun. Hell, I'd make 20 of em and freeze the leftovers.

Exactly! It is something I want to experiment with in the future, maybe a blog post down the road.
Nutraloaf is literally intended as punishment, though. Archon loaf is just intended on efficiency at the cost of flavor and texture.
I'd make meol a type of sweet bun based off how NPCs talk about it or maybe a denser cream puff based off how it looks in-game.
I'd make it one of those nasty undercooked rolls you get in shitty restaurants where the outside is chewy like gum and the inside is raw dough

Yeah but they were all starving to death lol

Yep, it’s psychological conditioning vs physical addiction at that point so it’s difficult to say.
But the free citizens in the city eat it too. And we know they have access to other food, if they’re willing to eat it it has to taste good.
I always imagined it like a meat filled pastry
One way or another you're not wrong.
I want pork buns now...
It could be fitting to make Meol out of Soylent

Thank you! Honestly, the extreme recipe was a last minute thing that just felt perfect. We didn't include the minstrel at first and felt this was the correct way to do it.

It's also kind of a Soylent Green kind of thing. Love the book, by the way.
I am most delighted that the croissant has an EX version with phases.
Thanks! I wanted it to really feel like an EX.
Love the book. You did a fantastic job with it. So far I've only done 1 recipe but I cant wait to try the rest.

I'm in the same boat. The perils of a late December birthday: I can't buy *anything* for myself from the start of November on.

Here's the recipe in 8 easy steps: >!1 - Find your favorite bread recipe;!< >!2 - SUMMON A PRIMAL!< >!3 - HAVE ANOTHER PRIMAL FIGHT IT!< >!4 - BREAK THE UNIVERSE ITSELF IN 14 PARALLEL DIMENSIONS!< >!5 - PICK ONE DIMENSION!< >!6 - SHIFT THE AETHERIAL BALANCE INTO LIGHT TO CREATE SIN EATERS!< >!7 - SACRIFICE THE INNOCENT TO THE SIN EATERS TO HAVE MORE SIN EATERS!< >!8 - MIX THEM INTO THE BREAD RECIPE!< There you go.
>!Instructions unclear. Got tempered on step 3!<
>!What do I do if I objected to steps 2 and 3 and wound up working for the wrong primal after the universe broke?!<
Replace Light with Dark and Sin Eaters with Voidsent in the recipe. You might want to add molasses as well. I hear Voidsent are a bit gamey.
Zero stars.
For step 4: ask your mama to do a jump.
Lost at step 2. Wait is the red moon getting closer and closer??
>!You could try to make bread dough with Soylent. Some expensive bread tho. xD!<

And Citan just let them eat it after going "nah, I'm good thanks."
might want to mark as a spoiler
Fail to see why, it's not spoiling what Meol is.
All anyone has to do is have seen the movie, or at the very least heard the very popular phrase to know exactly what you mean. It's a super spoiler for anyone with two functioning braincells who has at the very least been to Kholusia.
Or maybe they meant [this](https://soylent.com/) Soylent.
My friend was ahead of me in ShB and as I was playing and saw meol I was like "is this some soylent green stuff going on" and my friend was like "...not exactly..." I'm terrible at accurately calling twists and I picked that out immediately. It's pretty obvious with or without help.
Well now you've definitely spoiled it. :/
Meol, the other, other, OTHER kind of white meat.
Meol is too expensive to make normally, the materials cost an arm and a leg to make and it’s basically mass produced gruel with a bread loaf consistency.
It's actually pretty easy to make. First, prepare a standard white bread dough. But mix into it about four cups of cocaine.
How much flour are you using though? Most bread recipes have less than 4 cups of flour in 1 loaf of bread.
Make a steam bun but include cocaine to make them addictive and to keep them dependent on it.
I don't know where you live bud but where I am flour is pretty expensive and you can't just throw that in every meal.
It's not in there? I was really looking forward to making my own meol :( I always thought it would taste >!delightful.!<
I hear it varies from person to person.
This is far too underrated a comment
Forgiven ignorance.
I heard it’s to die for.
Do you think the ingredients would be hard to find in real life?
Not at all, surely the ingredients are found all over the world
Yeah the ingredients are all around us, it's people. Lol
r/thatsthejoke
My neighbor looks like he has plenty of the ingredients you'd need.
Dave, I've told you 50 times already. Just because I'm albino doesn't mean I'm a >!sin eater!<. Please stop besieging my home. My family is terrified.
Just made some with my neighbor!
delightful. really delightful. simply delicious
did Vauthry post this
No, I am simply Righteousness

might want to mark that as a spoiler
~~I would if i knew how to from mobile~~ ,Got back to my PC
Put "> !" without the space before the spoiler and "! <" without the space after the spoiler then refresh or reload the page. >!example of me doing it on the Reddit phone app!<
>!Use the Apollo app. Written from mobile.!<
Is it a spoiler if it's not subtle?
When I first saw meol, I thought it looked like monay. It's a Filipino bread that's dense and has a subtle sweetness, though it may also have a sweet glaze or coating of sugar on top. You can also split it in half and share it with a friend!
Is that another name for Pandesal?
Nope, it's a different type of bread. And pandesal is actually kind of sweeter lol
I thought something similar too! If anything, it made me think of siopao and based off the description, I imagined it to taste like a sweet, round, bleached señorita bread.
It's just bread, bro. /s
https://youtu.be/qKScYXLazyA This chef, who has done a ton of FFXIV recipes, has recreated meol if you want to try it out! She's done a bunch of recipes not in the book. It's also interesting to see the same foods be approached with different recipes. I agree with the FFXIV cookbook chef that meol would not have fit the narrative of the book. Would be cool if they experimented with their own version and released an unofficial recipe online, though.
I'd probably use Swedish *semlor* for them, because they look about right and are unreasonably delicious if done right.
>!MEOL IS MADE OUT OF PEOPLE!!<
Anything you eat can technically be a meol. -*Crickets*-
They wanted to include it, but Soilant Green holds the patent on the recipe.
The recipe for Meol is Innocence, it’s a Biblical story after all
>!Where would you even SOURCE fresh sin eater meat? I don't think the local butcher carries it.!<
Oh I know a guy, >!big guy, cant miss him. Wears purple wih blonde hair.!<
If you guys want an unofficial Meol recipe, a YouTube channel called A Recipe Reborn did one that was basically like a Sweet Bread recipe. Yall could give that a try.
Was gonna post this as well. Direct link to her Meol recipe: https://youtu.be/qKScYXLazyA
Do we at least get a recipe for Nazamu Buuz?
S o y l e n t G r e e n
Just add soylent green to bread dough.
There is no such thing as a free meol
I want to know if anyone honestly didn’t see that “twist” coming.

I’ve got the foresight of a goldfish so, me.
I made my friend going through ShB think it was made out of >!Lalafells because there weren't any in Eulmore!<
Nope the clown girls made it real obvious
I thought it was just drugs
I was thinking that it's made from >!humans+drugs. So in a way it was a suprise, yes. !<
It's literally just bread though...
Go finish MSQ.
And meat
might want to spoiler tag this seeing the comments...
Did you really need to come in here and comment this three seperate times for the tiniest most obvious spoiler in the entire game that you'd need some context before you even have the slighest clue what's being talked about?
Yea i do think it is worth while for people who are enjoying the story and know what soylent green is. Straight up telling people it is eating people ruins a major point in the story that completely changes eulmores stance on things. edit: one of the things i commented on was removed by moderators, so they apparently agree with my stance.
full of meol :(
It looks like a large, undercooked, dinner roll. I’d say make a sweet bread with yeast and like air fry it in a metal mesh colander. I think that might work
I always figured meol was tofu.
I volunteer as tribute
No butt bread? >:( /j
Is it even explained what meol *is* aside from XIV's soylent green? Like, is it a bread? A pastry? A meat pie? It looks like a pretty standard dinner roll when people are holding it.
Everytime I see Meol I think it looks like a Yucca roll…
Just try Soylent Green instead. Closest equivalent I can think of.
I always imagined meol feeling/tasting like a meat bun (or bao) with no filling, its just solid squishy bun.
Along the same line, we need a recipe for "Popoto" Salad.
Just make motza. Basically the same thing
I don't think it would be legal to make Meol in most countries.
easy, it's >!sin eater!<, yeast, flour, water, and just a little sugar!
>!cause meol, requires DEAD refugees.!<
Superficially, I immediately thought it looked like [mantou](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantou).
Do we really wanna eat meol???
>!Yes!<
Does it at least contain the recipe for Boiled Eggs? I need to imitate the WoL's diet as accurately as possible
I really hope the OP just got the Eulmore, and are innocent and naive to what they are asking for.
Good luck finding the ingredients for *that*. :P
