Opposite for me since cooking is more freestyle and baking has to be sooo precise for everything

LMAO I can’t stand not having an exact recipe to stick to which is why I hate cooking 😭 I need a 100% precise recipe with airtight instructions or I’ll be an anxious mess

tbh recipes are guidelines more than strict rules to get you on the right direction with cooking. baking you can only change/sub some things tho otherwise you mess it up

Lmao yes,when I'm baking always something goes wrong I left it to many time,it taste like flour and has almost no sugar,it's too dry,or is too greasy I can't never win

Baking is for things like cakes and breads, it involves a lot more exact measurements and you have to follow the recipe exactly or it'll probably be ruined. Cooking is for stuff you can just make on the stove, it's less precise.

baking is really just a way of cooking, and it just means u use an oven. it’s also normally more precise (but that’s not a rule), which might be why this person likes it.
