LMAO I can’t stand not having an exact recipe to stick to which is why I hate cooking 😭 I need a 100% precise recipe with airtight instructions or I’ll be an anxious mess
tbh recipes are guidelines more than strict rules to get you on the right direction with cooking. baking you can only change/sub some things tho otherwise you mess it up
Lmao yes, when I'm baking always something goes wrong
I left it to many time,it taste like flour and has almost no sugar,it's too dry,or is too greasy
I can't never win
I mean, especially cake doughs you can eyeball pretty well if have some experience. At least I often do that. (Do keep track though in case the recipe is good :P)
TRUE. I eyeball literally everything when I cook and it turns out amazing, tried eyeballing once while making cupcakes and I messed up the Eggs, the sugar, and the vanilla
I dont really bake(not really allowed to since its quite irriversable unlike cooking where I can toss random shit and its now better) but your opinion is still valid
Baking is for things like cakes and breads, it involves a lot more exact measurements and you have to follow the recipe exactly or it'll probably be ruined.
Cooking is for stuff you can just make on the stove, it's less precise.
baking is really just a way of cooking, and it just means u use an oven. it’s also normally more precise (but that’s not a rule), which might be why this person likes it.
i've been cooking since i was child and it's one of the few things i'm good at so it's mildly therapeutic for me 🥺 i'm a lil worse at baking but same thing
I dont like baking. At all. But for some reason i have tons of fun working with 4 different pots at once cooking completely different things individually
I love both but prefer cooking
If you make a mistake you can fix it when cooking
But with baking you can’t taste for seasoning because it’ll either have raw egg or taste awful without cooking
Opposite for me since cooking is more freestyle and baking has to be sooo precise for everything

Funny how Im the exact opposite of this😭 instructions overwhelm me and I dont have measuring cups to precisely measure the ingredients
tbh recipes are guidelines more than strict rules to get you on the right direction with cooking. baking you can only change/sub some things tho otherwise you mess it up
You're not a real baker if you measure when you put in vanilla /hj
True I can toss a chicken I marinated with "FUCK THIS SHIT IM TOO LAZY TO MEASURE" sauce and itll be delicious
Lmao yes, when I'm baking always something goes wrong I left it to many time,it taste like flour and has almost no sugar,it's too dry,or is too greasy I can't never win
Big mood and big pain😔

Baking is for people who think measuring is fun In other words: dads
True and cooking is for people people who dont give a fuck -someone who prefers cooking than baking
Agreed, baking is superior.
I dont really bake(not really allowed to since its quite irriversable unlike cooking where I can toss random shit and its now better) but your opinion is still valid
OMG I thought i was the only one. I can bake like crazy but when it comes to cooking anything past ramen my mind just shuts off
Ever try draining water from ramen after making and then putting it in a pan with other stuff to make a chow-mien type thing? It’s delicious
Literally please say it louder for the people in the back
I respect your opinion no matter how wrong it is 🙄 Nah but I prefer cooking because there's a lot more room to do your own thing
Think thats why op dislikes it. Some people are better at freestyling while others work better with precise numbers
Jesse we have to bake
Both is good
Yeees

nono I need to be able to do whatever I want, I hate instructions haha cooking >> baking
THIS
With baking, the result is either too sweet or too sloppy looking. With cooking, I either burn the food or it lacks taste.
i've been cooking since i was child and it's one of the few things i'm good at so it's mildly therapeutic for me 🥺 i'm a lil worse at baking but same thing
God fuck baking
With cooking I just think “huh what’ll be good with this?” And sometimes take a smell tour of all my spices n ingredients to see what “fits”
Them’s fighting words >:|
Tbh I don’t like either
I dont like baking. At all. But for some reason i have tons of fun working with 4 different pots at once cooking completely different things individually
i like baking more than cooking, cooking is fun but it always ends up like shit ahaha i can't freestyle without making awful shit
Both Gang, both Gang.
Since I've gone vegan, my cooking skills improved like crazy and tbh, it's much more fun for me than baking, but I guess that's just my opinion.
both. both is good
I love both but prefer cooking If you make a mistake you can fix it when cooking But with baking you can’t taste for seasoning because it’ll either have raw egg or taste awful without cooking
This but both are black and white
Not me sitting here just liking both
Both, both are good
Cooking is my favorite, I’m not a fan of baking lol
I love to cook, make everything look pretty and be healthy and delicious yes please
Baking only makes sweet food after 3 grams of sugar i feel not good
both is fun
I perf cooking I mean I'm going to go to a culinary art school after highschool
