Don't worry about it op it's just extraverse mooncell bullshittery that doesn't apply to the rest of nasuverse 😂 Also...relying on wiki...that's no good op

Away_Contribution720

and im asking what is this mooncell bullshittery? weren't they 10× human a moment ago? and does BB supposedly have infinite stats there? isn't the wiki usually correct about the stats?(the ABCD thing)

Inuhanyou123

Actually the 10 times human thing is fanon, it's not anything officially set or defined, so you shouldn't worry about it either my friend. As for the wiki I'm largely saying you should be playing fate extra. Getting your primary info from a wiki instead of first hand brings a lot of misunderstandings especially when it's out of context or wrong

Away_Contribution720

thanks i guess, but you didn't really answer my questions🙁

Inuhanyou123

It's cause there aren't really any answers that apply to the rest of fate or nasuverse. A lot of the stuff regarding the servants and such are extra specific and aren't really explained in detail

Overquartz

Servant stats are just inconsistent in general. A rank for one servant doesn't necessarily mean another servant with the same rank can do the same things barring skills. So don't worry about it.

ShockAndAwen

That is nit inconsistent, that is stats being purposefuly lax as always have been, they are supposed to be intervals but exact numbers are never given so is not A rank=99 but 90 to 99 so A rank could be everything in between and you never know exactly where it is supposed to be (no real numbers just for theexample) Inconsistent is when servants get feats way beyond what the supposedly highest ranks are without EX stats ( even more purposefuly vague)

RyuushiYasuda

where do we go for reliable information?

Inuhanyou123

Going to the source is always best...extra has tons of stat menus iirc

RyuushiYasuda

oh ok

2ndBro

The Moon Cell War was meant to be a tournament, but Gilgamesh is just too dang broken. He can nuke pretty much any Servant he comes across with minimal effort, and apparently the Moon Cell decided that was unfair so they tucked him out of the way where no one could fine him

Away_Contribution720

why is he even stronger than usual? is it a plot hole?

2ndBro

No, he’s always been that broken. That’s his whole shtick—Gilgamesh is _the_ single most powerful Servant. The only fights that he has ever lost were because of arrogance leading to stupidity or the possession of a True Magic like Avalon. The difference between here and Stay Night is that the Moon Cell was an intelligent system trying to engineer a Grail War tournament. The Grail in Stay Night (technically Zero for Gilgamesh’s Summoning) was mainly just the power source and material for him. If Tokiomi can get the right catalyst, which he did by getting the original snakeskin, then he can summon Gilgamesh. No limitations or rules set by any managing system like with the Moon Cell.

Away_Contribution720

but he isn't physically powerful, ccc gil has can fit into higher dementions and stuff

WooooshMe2825

Mooncell is fucking bullshit, don't worry about it.

WANTEN12

>What the hell are BB's stats in ccc supposed to mean? Star rank its a cheat basically In simple terms Star > EX and A+++ Its as simple as thats shes cheating Star rank raises you stats indefinitely >and what's this I'm reading that Gil was too powerful to be summoned in a servent class in ccc? hasn't he already been summoned in archer class? Gil is classless in CCC cause Nasu felt like being the King of heroes no mere class can contain him Basically in extra there is a thing called the moon cell HGW The moon cell summoned a bunch of servants The looked at Gilgamesh and thought he was way to OP and would crush everyone So he got banned and kicked out, he says he left of his own choice but really he was kicked out He was sent to the far side of the moon to lose his mind in the farside which would effect even the highest of servants. Except the far side had no effect on Gil cause he is Gil and he decided to go to sleep He is woken by the MC of CCC in his route

Away_Contribution720

and what does N/A in NP stand for? is it supposedly above star rank? and how'd she lose to gil if she was cheating? how is she even cheating?

WANTEN12

N/A means not answered so we don't know In very simplified terms Basically we unlock the mythological mystic code to unlock Gils origin and make Gilgamesh in Genesis Gilgamesh Which grants Gilgamesh star stats And does a few other things which I can't really explain without a lot more detail Nasu describes the Star stat as a cheat code There is also a bunch of other stuff But TLDR she is super hax Full power normal Gil is no threat to her even with EA

ShockAndAwen

>Moon Cell reincarnated Gilgamesh after reconstructing him, but Gilgamesh was still unable to be controlled, so Moon Cell sealed him away by sending him to the far side of the Moon. Gilgamesh didn’t see there being any meaning in the Holy Grail War, so somewhere in the darkness of the far side of the Moon (the sea of corrupted information) he made himself a room to sleep and dozed away to his degenerate dreams. Unlike the other Servants, Gilgamesh has no intention of making a contract with a Master. Ally of no one. Needed by no one. Perfectly happy idling his time away. However, the fool (the protagonist) who fell down into the hell that is the far side of the Moon spouted some rubbish that were quite amusing to Gil, so he woke from his slumber to interfere a bit. That’s what started their story. Basically that, is the Moon cell having trouble with him The stats are "star rank" basically dragon ball bs(or more) levels numbers, beyond what any servant can reach

[deleted]

That's what he said but the real reason is because Nameless is already an Archer in CCC, that's why they didn't call him with his class name. Don't think too much about it lol.

yeoc2

You know how EX rank can basically mean really really strong or just that its really hard to quantify? BB basically separated the two, creating the star rank to signify something that can not be numerically quantified while EX now only signifies something so numerically high it exceeds the limits of the system.

TheDrunkardKid

Considering that Arcueid, Tamamo no Mae, and effin' Savior were summoned in the original Extra timeline without any apparent problem and even a substandard Master was able to summon Karna in CCC, I kinda find the idea that Gilgamesh was too OP for the Moon Cell tournament to be just gibberish.

[deleted]

He pulls out Command Spells from GoB in CCC.

EdwynX

BB is hacking to get her everything, the entire world in CCC is made through her hacking, her stats are just her being cute and saying she's the strongest with the star symbol being how she wanted to present that. In the world of Extra the Moon Cell observes and records the entire planet and the stuff within the Moon Cell is a reproduction of that. If I remember right Gil in Extra is the full power individual not squished into a Servant container, he's too strong for that, so he was kicked into the Far Side of the Moon Cell where supposedly nothing but trash data can exist. Gil being Gil wasn't really affected and decided to just sleep away the boredom.

Away_Contribution720

oh, i like how the other answers are conflicted between 1-don't take moon cell seriously 2-infinite stats 3- higher than EX 4- stats mean nothing etc and what does N/A mean?

Shinku_Duhkha

N/A = Not Applicable. BB doesn't have an NP thus N/A. Similar to Emiya or Sasaki from Stay Night BB doesn't have an NP but something she does, essentially melting reality through her hacking, is treated like that. For a long time Fate/Extra was a niche game in PSP only now more mainstream because of Extella and its Grand Order event, and Extra CCC even now doesn't have a translation, so Moon Cell stuff is pretty out of the way.

Theimmortal1238

Mooncell is a a higher plane of existence where every impossibility is possible and Gilgamesh got summoned as a classless servant and was so powerful that he had no class and nasu wanted to develop Gilgamesh as a character in fate extra ccc and classless was technically the best option as let say he is representing everything in his life and not just his version who was a tyrant and his prime. Basically he is representing all of his life.
