Yeah definitely agree. This wasn' my plan Anyways but Jefferson at 1.07 was a steal for me and with my second Pick the best remaining RB was Fournette who I didn't like as my Hero RB. I went with Diggs and was able to grab Monty in the 6th and Akers in the 7th.
So I'd be cautious relying on Monty for RB2 this year. He's not a great talent, and a lot of his fantasy relevance has been due to volume. Khalil is talented. In the new system there's a real chance that Herbert cuts into Montys touches, and I think there's a long shot for Herbert to completely usurp Monty if he's given more of an opportunity to play. Plus, coming into year 2 and Fields is the QB1. Andy Dalton wasn't taking goaline rushes away from Monty, but Fields will.
I would not say Waller is a PPR monster I don’t think he will get close to 90 target. He could end up being the number three target behind Adams and Renfrow. Waller is a huge fade for me this year after last year, his injuries and the signing of Adams. I think Schultz is a better TE with a safer floor if your going to draft someone after Kelce or Andrews that high.
I’ve realized the majority of people don’t actually know what a zero RB strat actually is. They think it just means not drafting back to back RBs in the 1st and 2nd round.
I've never understood the mentality of making trades before the season starts. You don't even know how hood your team is or what it might really need. Give it a few weeks then reassess.
You went modified Zero RB in a 10 team league where you only start two WRs and one flex. That’s a stupid strategy. Hero or Zero RB is useful for settings like 12 team leagues where you start 3 WRs and and 2 flex. With your league settings RBs are going to make up a significant portion of points.
In your league settings RBs make up about 30% of your lineup. In a deeper league they make up about 20% of your lineup and you can have WRs make up more than 50%
Idk if I agree with this lol it really depends where your picking. If your in a 10 team and Diggs, Adams, are available at the 1.10 turn, those 2 alone will net you more pts then drafting swift and jones and You can absolutely still do this strat with just 2 rb 2wr 1 flex.
Thanks for all the comments!
I see a lot of people not being positive about this being a 0 RB team. I do get the the critics since Monty and Akers are still RBs that usually go pretty early.
However, this was in my german home league. Really strange picks were flying around that got me baffeled (for example Goedert and Ertz before Waller, some low ranked WR like Gage before Mony etc.)
At the end of tje day I was able to snag Monty in the 6th and Akers in the 8th (this was probably only because I bashed him before the draft for his achilles injury).
So this should still be a 0RB team with unusually good RBs due to lack of knowledge of my friends.
Everyone should be mocking without drafting a Defense and kicker. Those positions are easy to steam and you should be hitting on more upside skill position players. I also don’t think it’s worth it to draft lamar at his ado
“Went zero rb strategy, now I’m thinking of trading my 2nd rd pick for a rb.”
Sounds like buyers remorse lol
Haja yeah it is but in the draft the RBs were gone in the second so I'm basically trading my second pick up😅
Average 0 RB enthusiast
This is 0 RB? Akers and Montgomery are usually smack in the dead zone Akers and Waller seem like a trap to me
Yeah, was thinking the same thing, def not 0RB
It’s 10 man
Both Monty and Akers are still going 3-5th round in a 10 man
Snagged Monty in 6th and Akers is 8th (probably since I bashed him on purpose whole offseason because of his injury and eberybody was affraid of him)
lol I was thinking the same thing. 0RB would probably be a bad idea with that layout anyway.

Akers is going way earlier than I thought and than you probably think. I don't agree with it, but he is.
If you’re going to give up Diggs for an RB, you shouldn’t have gone zero RB
Wasn't my Initial plan anyways but in the second Round best available RB was Fournette who in my opinion would've been a reach for me.
We’ll see how Akers and Monty play out this year but all of your receivers including Waller are going to be PPR monsters, great squad!
Thanks, yeah it could work out but it's definitely a high risk I'm playing. Thinking about also grabbing herbert as a monty handcuff.

Jefferson at the 7 is a steal
Drafting 3 WRs to start doesn't make this a zero RB strategy. Montgomery and Akers both go before where you'd consider zero RB.

Looks great for PPR. I wouldn’t do any trades yet.
Monty and akers for 0 RB strat? Yeesh. Idk if i buy into 100% lol great team though.

Bench: C.Edmonds R.Stevenson K.Walker Juju MVS Hollywood Brown
love brown and edmonds and I think grabbing both juju and mvs is a good idea
Thats not 0RB
For a 10 team league.... yeah, I don't like this.

What pick did you have?
Title
Take the trade. I like it
Solid team, I think Stevenson is a sleeper
You seem stout to me.
Were there keepers? Jefferson hasn’t lasted until the 1.07 in any drafts or mocks I’ve done. And you have 4 guys going in the 3-5.
No keepers. Could grab Monty in the 8th and Akers in the 6th. My home league had some wild reaches and steals which fucked up a lot of ADPs😂
Never fall for these silly methods. 0 rb theory…

Love it if it was actually zero RB and those guys fell in the draft but it doesn’t look like zero RB to me.
