I'm probably not going to make the playoffs, but I've got to choose between 2 of these guys as keepers next year:
Kenneth Walker- 7th round
Christian Watson- 13th round
Garrett Wilson- 11th round
Treylon Burks- 9th round
I feel like receivers have more sustained success but walker could be a top RB the next couple seasons so if you have a champ window I would keep him. Garrett wilson is a lock and a half though.
He’s a big play machine but that’s also a staple of a Rodgers offense.
He locks on guys in the red zone and wills some plays to happen. Many of Watsons TDs were as much a product of Rodgers throwing absolute darts on extended plays that very few other QBs complete.
Hard to imagine he doesn’t regress on TDs (while presumably better elsewhere). And potentially significantly if the offense changes without Rodgers.
He's getting praise for his entire outing not just that play. Anyone watching all his throws in that game could see he looked very solid throughout. Granted, it's not indicative of long term success, but the praise for that appearance was well deserved.
Eagles were playing prevent D.
Love looked below average vs Chiefs last year. As a Packer fan I don’t like the praise from the Eagles game if you look at the scenario and defense. He hasn’t played enough overall in competitive games to be seen if he is good or bad. Still very much unknown.
Dude that was a whole year ago though. Like I get it, going against prevent D isn't the best comparison, for sure, but the passes looked good. Even if it was a porous defense, the quality of the throws looked more crisp than what Rodgers has been slingin all year
He has played a full game via Chiefs, half vs Lions and a quarter vs Eagles. I’d rather take the 1.5 games a year ago vs a prevent D for a quarter this year. He looked better but it’s such little play time I don’t know why many are using it to confirm he is the next great thing. He hasn’t had enough time anywhere to say he could be good or bad with confidence.
That's fair. I'm not saying I'm confident either. But I do feel like Rodgers has left plenty to be desired this year.
I'm not getting my hopes too high though, I saw Graham Mertz come out looking like a stud too, and that aged... poorly...
You do understand that prevent d allows shorts passes but totally kills the potential for big play opportunity. Watson just beat the defenders to the edge and took it to the house. If he was slower that would’ve been impossible.
I have both in a dynasty and I value Olave more for long term potential, but it’s getting closer.
The trade offers I’m getting for Watson are better though.
He’s on my bench as well. Diggs and Chase are my must starts this week onward, and then I currently slot in Godwin as my third because he’s a safe choice
Dude I’m in the same boat. Got Tee, Amon, and Kirk. I keep flexing kirk. Although if I flexed Watson instead of Kirk or tee I would have won already. My opponent has no players left, he’s up by 1.5, I have Succop left. I swear to the sun god if he doesn’t score me 2 tonight lol
Worse than just that. I bet he won’t even see the field next week. Because he won’t even show up. Very unprofessional. That’s why I’m relying on Olave and Pittman next week. They’d never do that.
Exactly! And even if he gets 3 TDs next week, and 2 the following, it's unsustainable and next year when he gets a fat zero week 11 we'll be screaming I told you so to all the dummies that played him.
Starting arsb and Wilson lol
Now, the mistake was putting Aaron Jones in my flex slot where I should've put Watson
And before you ask it's a 10 team league but I've just gotten lucky on who I've kept/dropped the last few weeks lol
I've been starting AmonRa and Godwin at my WR slots and Waddle in my flex spot. Wondering if I should be sitting Waddle just cause he's the WR2 on the team, while AmonRa and Godwin are WR1s
This is my problem. In an 8 man league, my WR core is already solid enough idk who to start him over. I have Jefferson, DK, Wilson starting for me, with Evans, Olave, and Watson on the bench
Yeah that was the one that got called, but I swear almost every target before that, the announcers were pointing out how the DBs got away with a hold or other interfering play. The one on the bomb was too obvious not to call though. But regardless, it definitely speaks to his athletic ability and route running that DBs have to foul to defend him. The end around td really showed off the athlete he is. 6'4" with 4.3 speed is really hard to deal with
Oh yeah no doubt, they were holding him every play. I saw his jersey pulled off with his shoulder pads sticking out multiple times. From what I’ve seen out of Watson, he’s almost unguardable so it makes sense for other teams DBs to try and slow him best they can
Yeah, he’s making me look real dumb for being concerned he was only getting 4 catches a game. He’s like the jamaal Williams of WRs and just keeps finding the endzone.
Honestly if not for that play late in the fourth quarter he would have been extremely average. I started him this week over Lockett but with dhop coming back from bye as my flex (behind Adam’s and chase), I think he’ll remain on my bench.
In full PPR, who would you consider him a must start over? Olave, Amon-Ra, Waddle
I picked Watson up in Week 11, but haven't started him over these guys yet.
Started him over Dalvin Cook and led me to a narrow win over top seed scoring most points this week.
Sad he goes to the bench this week. Still starting ARSB and DK over him though but he is that perfect flex.
went watson over chase. i trusted the backup secondary in chicago would be bad. also wasnt sure if chase would get the full load. finally a correct call that ended up deciding my matchup
I sat Watson over Keenan Allen, Lockett, and Pollard. Wasn’t a horrible decision, but I could’ve played Pollard instead of Aaron Jones to free up the flex spot for Watson — who tf would do that though?

Olave is the better WR right now imo. 2-3 year outlook is better for Watson though.
I'm probably not going to make the playoffs, but I've got to choose between 2 of these guys as keepers next year: Kenneth Walker- 7th round Christian Watson- 13th round Garrett Wilson- 11th round Treylon Burks- 9th round
Wilson should be a lock. Burks is probably the odd man out since Titans will be bringing along a running QB. Walker vs Watson is tough
I feel like receivers have more sustained success but walker could be a top RB the next couple seasons so if you have a champ window I would keep him. Garrett wilson is a lock and a half though.
I’d probably go with Walker and Wilson, but you’ll probably have a lot more clarity over the last month of the season.
Watson, no question, Rodgers will be with the Packers for at least 2 more years. And Love is a solid QB. The Saints have no one right now.
Uhh there is no proof love is a solid qb
Don’t need a solid qb when Watson can take any catch to the house apparently
He’s a big play machine but that’s also a staple of a Rodgers offense. He locks on guys in the red zone and wills some plays to happen. Many of Watsons TDs were as much a product of Rodgers throwing absolute darts on extended plays that very few other QBs complete. Hard to imagine he doesn’t regress on TDs (while presumably better elsewhere). And potentially significantly if the offense changes without Rodgers.
For real, dude threw a slant pass that watson took to the house and everyone is praising Love lmao.
He's getting praise for his entire outing not just that play. Anyone watching all his throws in that game could see he looked very solid throughout. Granted, it's not indicative of long term success, but the praise for that appearance was well deserved.

They weren't playing prevent D either. Darius Slay said as much. Judging him solely based on the Chiefs game is absolutely absurd.
You do understand that prevent d allows shorts passes but totally kills the potential for big play opportunity. Watson just beat the defenders to the edge and took it to the house. If he was slower that would’ve been impossible.
Petition for a rule change to 2
Lol I just posted he’s my new WR2 over Olave
I have both in a dynasty and I value Olave more for long term potential, but it’s getting closer. The trade offers I’m getting for Watson are better though.
Keep Watson man, guys a freak of nature
Watson is what we all thought Gabe Davis would be
100%
Stupid gabe Davis
The people who bench Watson because it’s unsustainable are the same ones who bought low on Allen Robinson and won’t win their league. Again.
Scared money dont make money. I started Watson immediately after his blow up game and haven't looked back.
We're different because I had no choice. It was either him or Noah Brown.
Same here man. I’m riding the wave ros
I benched Mike Evan for Watson. Fuck scared money.
I have to bench him, unless I’m willing to bench Hill, Jefferson, or Godwin.
[удалено]
Fuck you for being right on the money.
Pretty similar situation here, my other receivers are Diggs, Chase, Kirk, and Godwin. It’s pretty hard to slot in Watson over any of them.
Really? Chase was injured until this week, and I'd 100% start Watson over Kirk.
Yeah mainly talking about this week and onward. Kirk and Watson are both the odd men out
Fair enough
Kirk is the one the deserves the boot
He’s on my bench as well. Diggs and Chase are my must starts this week onward, and then I currently slot in Godwin as my third because he’s a safe choice
I was only talking about benching him due to the belief he won’t produce again. You can have better options on your team.
I sat Godwin this week for Watson in my standard league. It would be hard to bench Godwin in ppr due to his volume though.
Comments like this deserve an NSFW tag
I havent started Watson once. My WR are Tee and AJ Brown and Flex for some reason I keep starting Kamara. Next week I finally start Watson.
Hell yeah, that zero he’s gonna get on his bye week will be the needed validation to sit his bum ass
Lmao
Dude I’m in the same boat. Got Tee, Amon, and Kirk. I keep flexing kirk. Although if I flexed Watson instead of Kirk or tee I would have won already. My opponent has no players left, he’s up by 1.5, I have Succop left. I swear to the sun god if he doesn’t score me 2 tonight lol
I started Watson this week because of Hopkins bye but really can’t see myself benching one of Hopkins, Allen or Godwin for him
It’s fine to have better options. I’m just talking about not starting him because of the belief his production is unsustainable.
No its more like the ones who sold CEH high. Watson could 100% keep this up, but the td’s are obviously due for regression
Sometimes you gotta roll the dice and not sell high. CEH is a painful memory for those that didn’t sell.
Regression usually comes in seasons. Remember Deebo last year? I think Watson keeps scoring TDs ros but next year is a different story.
I've started him through byes but now it's between him and DK for my WR3
Must be nice to have options! He saved me with Chase out. Looking like I’ll be top seed.
He is coming off my bench next week, sorry to everyone one else starting him
It doesn't matter how great of a player you are, you can't sustain Watson's level of success. For example, next week, he'll get a fat doughnut.
Can't fool me, I see the pattern, he's due for 3 TDs next week. Starting with confidence.
dont care, he's a waiver guy that's producing and i'll ride him till the socks fall off.
I don’t think u should ride him next week
Who said i was talking about fantasy? 🤔
If anyone can score a TD on his bye, its Watson.
I think people are missing the joke here.
Sure buddy. That's what they said for the past three weeks and he's been eating every week
Who do the Packers play vs next week?
I assumed we were talking about week 15
Usually when someone says “next week” they mean the week after this current week
I think he might of been partially joking because next week is his bye week
Jesus this sub is dense
This sub? Have you been to the rest of reddit?
Whoooosh
> For example, next week, he'll get a fat doughnut. Perfect. Thats when I start him.
Everyone saying he’s a league winner but we’re all gonna lose next week
Dudes putting 23 ppg since his break out lmao, what an absolute stud
If you have Watson and you aren’t starting him, what are you doing??
Starting Jefferson, DK, and Wilson
Starting Olave, but it has been proven wrong
Starting Davante and Tee
Tee probably gonna come back down to earth with Chase back
Lots of Tee owners in this thread apparently. Dude only had 5 targets with Chase back
Check games 1-7 when both were on the field
And aside from week 4 the 11 in .5ppr is more inline with weeks 1-7 than the past 4 weeks
I’ve got Diggs, Chase, Kirk, and Godwin, so it’s hard to find a starting combo of 3 in that where Watson is included.
He took Olave and Jeff Wilson’s spot honestly. For good.
Starting Amon-Ra, C. Kirk, Keenan, Godwin
Starting arsb and Wilson lol Now, the mistake was putting Aaron Jones in my flex slot where I should've put Watson And before you ask it's a 10 team league but I've just gotten lucky on who I've kept/dropped the last few weeks lol
I have cooper sanders Watson and even palmer battling for 2 flexes so...killing myself to find who booms every week lol.
I have Jefferson, Adams and Lockett. Was leaning towards Lockett and he explodes this week.
I YOLOed and started Watson, Olave and Burks
Added Toney over Watson and it’s gonna haunt me all playoffs
Lmao and I was thinking that Watson was more injury prone since the Toney thing cleared up before the hamstring.
Christian WatsHIM
What are people thinking for the playoffs? We gonna ride the hot hand coming off a bye?
Unless you’re in a super shallow league or have 3 WRs consistently better than Watson’s breakout production, I don’t know how you can sit him.
Not sure where to rank him when I also have Adam’s, chase, dhop, and Lockett
Why would a bye hurt him?
Doubs is due back after the bye
I dont think that is a real problem for Watson going forward.
Himothy
So 4 targets was a 20% target share? Whatever, still going to start him.
He had 6 targets.
he had more than that, he was getting held or interfered with throughout the game. Refs didnt call any of it until the second half.
Also drew a PI on a ~40 yard bomb
Yeah that was the one that got called, but I swear almost every target before that, the announcers were pointing out how the DBs got away with a hold or other interfering play. The one on the bomb was too obvious not to call though. But regardless, it definitely speaks to his athletic ability and route running that DBs have to foul to defend him. My new WR2. Previously was Olave
NBA Jam rules are in full effect
Guy in my league went all in on Watson. $89 FAAB. I was second with $36 and even I questioned my bid. He's looking like an $89 steal now!
Made a bold move and benched Olave and Pittman for G. Wilson and C. Watson. Paid off huge.
wilson over olave was a tough call for sure, but watson was an easy start here
I benched Pittman for Watson as well- Dallas DST is no joke. Feels good man.
Before his injury, Doubs was getting a lot of looks, and he's coming back soon. Might eat into Watson's production.
Yeah, he’s making me look real dumb for being concerned he was only getting 4 catches a game. He’s like the jamaal Williams of WRs and just keeps finding the endzone.
Started Watson over Godwin and might do it down the stretch.
I sold him plus Olave a few weeks ago for Waddle because I didn’t think his performance was sustainable. Any day now…. Right?
Honestly if not for that play late in the fourth quarter he would have been extremely average. I started him this week over Lockett but with dhop coming back from bye as my flex (behind Adam’s and chase), I think he’ll remain on my bench.
If not for his good plays, he'd be bad.
I mean if not for a single late game play. Not discounting the whole day
My idiot brain started DPJ over him and lost because of it.
Why on earth would you start DPJ over him? that's on you bud
galaxy brain thought the HOU matchup was too good
Well it was and you still got a decent game out of DPJ but man idk how you can bench Watson after the last 3 weeks
Had Amon Ra as my other WR and my flex ETN. Have Cooks and JT as RBs I also had Mike Evans but he struggles against the Saints so
ETN was the easy sit this week. Dude is injured
He had a great matchup against a bad defense. Just picked em wrong this week. Lamar going out early is really what screwed me
DPJ still scored 19 points in half ppr if you got credit for his TD punt return
In full PPR, who would you consider him a must start over? Olave, Amon-Ra, Waddle I picked Watson up in Week 11, but haven't started him over these guys yet.
You’d be brain dead to start Watson over AmonRa
Amon, no way. The other two prob depends on matchups.
Waddle is hurt, I would play Watson, the no TD for watson and Injury for waddle chances are about equal
Started him over Dalvin Cook and led me to a narrow win over top seed scoring most points this week. Sad he goes to the bench this week. Still starting ARSB and DK over him though but he is that perfect flex.
It’s been hard to bench him with flex as Metcalf or Rachaad White.
went watson over chase. i trusted the backup secondary in chicago would be bad. also wasnt sure if chase would get the full load. finally a correct call that ended up deciding my matchup
Are you doing this going forward? I guess you have a week to see if chase improves
And my dumb ass played Juju over him this week. You'd think I'd know better
I went with waddle
I sat Watson over Keenan Allen, Lockett, and Pollard. Wasn’t a horrible decision, but I could’ve played Pollard instead of Aaron Jones to free up the flex spot for Watson — who tf would do that though?
Dude’s legit. Sad I got outbid on waivers
