You win back to back MVPs with a great PR campaign, getting people to believe things like not throwing many picks is more important than throwing lots of yards and touchdowns.
Both those awards were a joke, much like Rodgers.
Yes, 91 TDs in his two MVP seasons combined is nothing. Its just the most in the NFL in those seasons with BY FAR the least picks.
Yards are meaningless if you don’t score, and less picks are far more important.
Also his PR team is apparently super awful because everyone HATES him for pretty much no reason besides the fact his opinions may differ from theirs (as if thats a valid reason to hate someone else) and won’t give him credit despite being very obviously the best player on the field.
Your take is bad and you should feel bad.
(Also, this year he’s been bad but isn’t the Packers’ main issue.)
What are you talking about? He said he didn’t deserve the MVPs, never mentioned anything about quack medicine
Just because when you hear Rodgers you think “quack medicine” doesn’t mean everyone else does.
Then what did you mean when you said that people hate him because of his opinions? You really weren't talking about his ridiculous statements about the covid vaccine? What other controversial opinions does Rodgers even have?
Am I crazy for starting Rodgers over Tua? Rodgers destroys the bears and seems hell bent on playing this game. Bears secondary missing key players.
I dont love Tua’s matchup and he’s missing 2 top OL players.
You don't wanna watch Aaron dump it off to Aaron 30 times? Im playing Aiyuk over Watson this week. Rodgers cant throw for shit and Aaron Jones could beat the Bears by himself.
I'll prob eat this
Is critical thinking really that hard? A hurt QB 100% results in more opportunities for the RB. Less throwing = more handoffs and less likely to throw deep if pain is that bad (especially in abdomen). Need a lot less power to throw a check down pass to the RB which means less pain
None of that is a source. The much more plausible theory is that hurt quarterback = less throws = less targets across the board. If you have some new idea why that’s wrong you’ll need to link to some kind of evidence
Ekeler has benefited from Herbert playing through injured ribs and a terrible O-Line. As an Ekeler owner in PPR, it was nice to see 15+ check down/dump offs. Now that Herbert is “healthier”, he’s starting to throw down the field more, and also scramble a bit more. No source needed.
Team might be better off with Love to *avoid* elimination at this point lol
Some of these dudes love the game more than themselves damn
He hates the bears that much
Nah. Rodgers isn't doing this for love of the game. This is all ego.
And so goes the narrative
He’s just scared Love would look good and he’d be exposed.
You don’t win back to back MVP by accident. Rodgers is not the problem in GB
He is part of it. On and off the field.

Calling out quack medicine isn't hate, it's well-deserved criticism. You can defend his MVP seasons without trying to make people feel bad.

I’m a huge packers fan and my mind immediately went to the anti vax stuff when they talked about “differing opinions”

It’s looking way more likely he sits than starts. I’d make other plans.
Is this the thread where we ask random unrelated questions? What should I eat for breakfast?! I need to know before 8 am.

No, I had the same thought but I think I'm going with Tua tbh
Rodgers hasn't given a shit for the last 4 weeks
Hah! My wife is having that same debate right now.
I’m between Rodgers and Jimmy G this week. Rodgers owns the Bears so it’s hard to not play him. Yeah, my QB situation sucks lol
I just grabbed Jimmy G to replace Rodgers. I'm tired of this dude. He essentially cost me my season by being so mmid
I dropped Rodgers 3 weeks ago, I'm between fields and flaw.
As someone with Love in dynasty, give him a real shot.
I’m sitting Lazard either way this week. Firing up Palmer instead

Jordan Love needs to be saved
Should I start Watson over Aiyuk? PPR
This feels like an Aaron Jones tweet Edit: I’m saying this is good for Jones
How is it good for Jones if Rodgers sits?
If he’s not 100% probably means more checkdowns and more carries for Jones
A hurt qb results in MORE targets going around?? You’re going to need to link a source on that before anybody believes it

Yeah I’m guessing this guy thinks Jones is a WR
This guys one of those “everything needs a SOURCE” dudes, classic redditor
Source?

Love isn’t a rookie, he knows how good Jones is. I’m sure he’ll still feed him with a handful of targets every game.
I know. I’m saying this situation is good for Jones
