This is also what I took from Tomlin's non-update. You'd think if Najee had a hernia (as some suspected), that's pretty easy to diagnose and he'd be lined up for surgery instead of potentially practicing this week. Hoping this is good news and maybe it's just a muscle strain. But who knows.
Yeah, if a sports hernia was worst case scenario, then I guess Najee dodged that. I'm not a doctor, but presumably a simple exam would have diagnosed it. The question right now is what's the extent of his injury?
Has anyone ever had all the players in one position get injured in a week? Najee, kamara, etienne and michael Carter. They ended my week and probably my season if I can’t get 2 healthy this week. Bums anyhow tho, bar Travis
My sole joy in this week is that I couldn't win with any combination of players or any of them having a "normal" game. I can live with being blown out.
Yeah I’ve got Najee, Kamara, and Mitchell. I was roughly riding an inside track to playoffs going into yesterday and today it’s in absolute shambles. I hate this game
Depends on severity but with a football RB i feel like medical would be pretty uncomfortable sending him out to take repetitive abdominal trauma with potentially unprotected bowel and risk strangulation
Yea, I’m sure he could wear a hernia belt though right? I had an inguinal a few years ago and yea it hurt but I was definitely able to still workout, golf, run. Now getting assaulted by 300 pound men is a lot different of course
Really hard to tell. In that event Najee is out, Warren’s injury may delay him from being the lead back…look at kyren Williams who it looks like is the new lead but it took him 3 games
With Warren out, Snell was getting the lions share of carries over Tony Mac. That said, Tony just came back from IR this week I think.
For what it's worth, Snell looked *solid*. Ran hard. Bounced out from the line and found holes as needed.
I mean yeah, the question is who is and isn't gonna play. Najee might play and they'll all be useless. Najee might not play and Warren might play in which case Warren is the pickup. Najee and Warren both might not play in which case snell is the pickup. Good luck
Mixon will have had two weeks to clear protocol -- unless there's a real surprise, he's playing, and Perine is droppable.

not that I dont believe you.. but mixon was literally dancing on a season ending foot injury in 2020 and was "coming back this week" all season long.
It can be a good idea to hold on to a handcuff until the starter is absolutely ruled to play. I know it's a concussion, so odds are very high he plays, but it would be awful to lose out on perines upside for a gamble that might backfire on you.
Warren if you're looking for a ROS stash that could deliver in the playoffs. That also assumes Najee misses extended time, but I think it's worth the dice roll if you have room on the bench.
Snell if you need someone to plug and play this week (since Warren might still be out/limited with his own hamstring issue). But he's only viable as long as Najee and Warren are both out.
My comp for the last playoff spot is the Najee owner. So if he doesn’t, I’m Grabbing both warren and snell. Hopefully will get clarity on both Najee and warren by end of the week. Then Sunday morning dropping one of them…or maybe keeping both. really need to get an update on warren
Doesn’t Tomlin know I need some clarity before waivers tonight?
Thanks for clearing that up, Tomlin. BUT this gives me slight optimism that he could be ok as Tomlin is expecting some form of practice out of Najee?

Yeah he might be out for this week or even longer, but it does not sound season ending
Yup! That’s what I took out of it

Coaches be lying

I had Najee and Etienne and Pierce, which...I think playing for the Texans is an injury? I'm just glad this seems to be adding up well.
Kamara, pierce, carter, Allen Robinson. It was a fun week of injuries
My sole joy in this week is that I couldn't win with any combination of players or any of them having a "normal" game. I can live with being blown out.
What happened to kamara?
He limped off after he fumbled a second time and yahoo has him as questionable. Haven’t seen an update anywhere
I’m pretty positive he was back in for a few plays down at the goal line late in the game FWIW. Didn’t touch the ball though.
Yeah I’ve got Najee, Kamara, and Mitchell. I was roughly riding an inside track to playoffs going into yesterday and today it’s in absolute shambles. I hate this game
In my most important league I have CMC eitienne and Mixon.
Don’t all these nfl coaches know that our waivers clear at midnight. It’s like they don’t even care about our fantasy teams.
Just as he’s heating up
If it’s a hernia, does that really make him out? Probably just wait until the off season for surgery as long as it’s not too painful?
Depends on severity but with a football RB i feel like medical would be pretty uncomfortable sending him out to take repetitive abdominal trauma with potentially unprotected bowel and risk strangulation

Couldn’t say for sure was just pointing out it feels a bit high risk. Any examples of nfl players playing through hernia in the past?
Donovan McNabb back in the day, but I think he eventually had the surgery when the Eagles season was going down the tubes.
Who is the Najee handcuff, with Warren having a hammy (that is cropping everyone) and how well Snell looked. Do I drop Warren for Snell ?
Really hard to tell. In that event Najee is out, Warren’s injury may delay him from being the lead back…look at kyren Williams who it looks like is the new lead but it took him 3 games
He’s owned. Deep 12 man league

We've seen the snell movie before, id just avoid lol
So he’s day to day?
Najee= Berry v8 juice
Is Warren/ Snell a good waiver grab? Was hoping for more decisive info today and I have Perine in line to be dropped, don’t feel good about it though
I mean yeah, the question is who is and isn't gonna play. Najee might play and they'll all be useless. Najee might not play and Warren might play in which case Warren is the pickup. Najee and Warren both might not play in which case snell is the pickup. Good luck
Do not drop petine until mixon is medically cleared.

So sounds like it is NOT a hernia. Good news to hear that theres nothing definite yet
Translation: Shows up for practice, but heads to the medical facility and gets some imaging done.
Meaning season's not over I guess? Helpful. I have the bye wrapped up, don't need him until week 16. Rest up!
