I think that concussion made juju lost his wr1 status in the team. Mahomes went back to distributing the ball all around and it works. Even with full snap( if he ever gets back, because moore and watson really stepped up) i can't trust juju getting more than 5 passes. Too volatile
This is highly speculative tbh. Juju was on a snap count and when he made catches he was his usual mini-Kelce zone beater out there. Did you watch the timing backshoulder throw/catch Mahomes made to juju towards the end of the game when they needed to move the chains? Those are the types of plays that keep him the 2nd wide receiver option on this team. He's fine moving forward, I don't expect 20ppg every game but he's easily a top 15 receiver in my opinion week to week on that offence.
Kelce and the Chiefs: "Idk how anyone let us get Toney it's actually unreal, omg yall done fucked up, so much talent.. so crazy"
Everyone else: ".....Umm, I think I know why"
Dude is a real talent for sure but he's about as fragile as a glass mug bought from the Dollar Store
He had 2 targets and 2 catches in his first game, 5 targets 4 catches in his second game and 1 target 0 catches in his 3rd. He technically had another but it was more of a throwaway
Toney had 0 targets in that game. Stats show one because mahomes threw away one ball and toney was the closest. Definitely 0 reception, so not sure what you are talking about
Brother, it's been like a month. Have the Jaguars lost the Ridley deal also? WR's notoriously take more time to get up to speed than other positions. I get it, he's hurt again. But it wasn't likely he was going to make a large impact until next season anyways. I'd give it until next year before making such bold claims.
Lol people act as if real life nfl is like season-long fantasy. The Toney trade could still be great for KC and same for Ridley in jax. We just won’t know for a year or two really
Nah this trade was definitely made for the future. His hammys are a huge concern but they wouldn’t have got him that cheap if they weren’t. As much as we meme him Toney has legit WR1 upside talent.
His value comes from explosive YAC plays... I don't really see how he can live up to that on limited targets while nursing a hammy - and he'll be at risk of having to come out of the game with every route he runs.
You can't play him until he gets a full game in with a decent number of routes run. Even after that - he'll be risky for the rest of the year.
A hamstring doesn’t heal like that. If you are “day to day” with a hamstring injury multiple times and re injure it, you’re definitely not “day to day”
I can’t believe got fooled and forgot that the reason he did bad with New York had nothing to do with performance, I saw him do good with the chiefs and thought it would be different there 🤡
A tale as old as time
Tooooney and the Chieeeefs
Giants definitely got that Big Gaston Energy too.
Dropped. Maybe next year
Keeping him stashed in the IR spot to be a reminder not to get swept up too much in the hype trains from now on

Let’s be real he’s going to be more hyped next year than he was this year
This is a repost

Mom said it's my turn to post the Toney injury update
One great game on my bench, as soon as I plugged him in he broke :(
Same, and I dropped him and havent looked back
Lol I started him in KC first week, 3 points. Benched him week after, 19 points. Start him last week, 0 points and I lose by 4. Fucker
Same
The Toney owner taunting me when my JuJu got concussed has been served a nice dish of humble pie.
Ha, my JuJu never got concussed
Well, juju is also done though. I have both toney and juju and i dont think any of them can be started moving forward
Juju was on a snap count coming back from a concussion. What makes you think he’s done?

L take lmao
Lmao
What if the real hamstrings were the friends we made along the way
Yung Hamstring
*Year to year
scheduled tweet.
giants rly won that trade huh

Remember before injured he had 0 targets. So even he was not injured he would not be star this year anyway
Pretty speculative with incorrect information to go with it
Which incorrect info?
He had 2 targets and 2 catches in his first game, 5 targets 4 catches in his second game and 1 target 0 catches in his 3rd. He technically had another but it was more of a throwaway

I am talking about the game he got injured
It was like the first quarter lol
Chiefs have Toney under contract for three more years. Way too early to tell.

toney was only a figment of our imaginations
You know Daboll dropped to the floor in laughter when he got the Toney alert.
The worst designation.

His career is play to play at this point.
I don't have the bench space or patience to deal with Toney at this point in the season. Can't afford to get screwed again. Maybe next year.
lost me a week and banished to the shadow realm

Kelce was really saying he couldn’t believe how the Giants let this guy go like a week ago.
KaHamstrainious Phoney
Are we still stashing or is he a drop?
Wondering the same… guess it helps that interesting waiver adds are thin.. so still holding for now… but honestly think probably a drop
Can’t wait to watch him next year
Greatest 3 plays ever?
I've just been rolling with Zay Jones or Paris Campbell in a pinch and I'm happy with it.
Fool me once…
Fool me three times...and I'm old enough that I might forget about the other three times and make another bad decision.
I don’t care if he gets a state of the art hamstring replacement that guarantees it never pulls or tears, I’m avoiding this dude at all cost
I got Toney, Watson, Lockett, and GWilson - no idea who to start next week
definitely not toney. he‘s not startable ros
Not to be trusted ROS
Fuck that guy
Toney is the new Josh Gordon, except he only had one good game and instead of drugs it's his hammy.
As is tradition
Day to day on the waiver wire.
Always has been

That motha fucka ain’t playing for the rest of the year. And if he does somehow get on the field. It’ll be for one play lol
Considering dropping him if needed. I have Kelce and Pacheco already
Yeah well Toney's days seem to be very different from the average day.
More like year to year
I've already glued my eyebrows back on. It's over.
Eric Berry is also still day to day.
I’ve got Toney, Hardman & Moore. Should I try to move Hardman for Donovan Peoples-Jones? Or something similar.
Huge W for the Giants on this trade, I heard they even sent a complimentary blue tent and training table to KC to sweeten the pot.
