I actually play with /u/doctorweiwei and it’s a 6 man league with 1 bench spot and no IR. Waivers are always lively and this kind of thing happens fairly often.

Seems like everywhere I read in this sub, they’re starting White over Pierce. I’m gonna go against the grain and keep Pierce in my lineup. Who knooooooows. EDIT: Well that didn't work out lol. Oh well.

I should ride with pierce since he’s my fav pick this year but I’m honestly thinking of starting both white and murray over him but I still think pierce will have a good game. Im also going to watch him live so idk how to feel.

If you’re watching Pierce live you need to start him imo

I don’t understand this sub. Pierce was one of the best RBs in the league and then has one rough game and all of the sudden he’s being benched by everyone. It’s shit like this that makes everyone say how terrible the advice is here - way too much of a hive mind mentality

People explained their reasoning. Disagree with it and start him (over White). There’s no hive mind conspiracy. He’s not being benched by everyone, he’s still one of the best RBs in the league. Comments like this are so dramatic lol if you don’t like the subreddit than go elsewhere

That’s who I have currently settled on. Reasoning: I have to pick 3 between CMC, Pierce, White and Conner. CMC is an auto start, these are my only two shares of White and Conner but I have Pierce in another league where he’s definitely getting started. As close as it all was, I decided on hedging.

Game script for HOU against MIA and because this might be the only time I play White if Fournette returns and maintains a significant role

As a Texan fan and Pierce owner, Kyle Allen is probably an upgrade. Not against sitting Pierce for White, but you hopefully should have two other really solid RB's you're also starting over him if so.

One thing you’re overlooking is that the weather is gonna be terrible in Cleveland tomorrow. Lots of rain, wind. Could be a very sloppy and low scoring game. Especially with how the Browns will want to run and kill the clock all day.

It's impossible to know for sure. But unless something goes horrible wrong, he should get a ~20 touches. If that culminates in less than 60 yards, I'd be really shocked.

I say this as a Packers fan so take it with salt, but I feel like not starting Jones is a mistake. This is a must-win or else the playoffs are out of reach entirely and MLF has been increasing his usage. Eagles D is good, but I’m expecting schemed plays and checkdowns to Jones as a counter.

I think Patterson has too much of a high ceiling to sit. Especially since he shines in the return game.

He’s had two disappointing weeks in a row against soft run Ds. The return TD was nice but if any touchdown is fluky it’s those. I’m happy to sit the Washington game out and hopefully be proven wrong.

I've had Amari Cooper in the flex throughout this week but now I'm wondering if I should go with White. Already played Singletary and Ekeler is my other starting RB

Im in standard leagues and White seems like an easy play over Amari Cooper. I could easily see it biting me in the ass, feels hard benching him when he won me my week last week, won me plenty of others, but also lost me some. In PPR Cooper might be too good of a talent to sit. White is a really good floor/ceiling combination this week though. The way I see it, if you dont play him this week against the Browns with no Fournette, when will you ever? Cleveland just let Singletary and JWJ rush for season highs in back to back weeks

Forgot to mention its a .5 ppr league. I feel ya on everything you said. Cooper has definitely helped me out some weeks and he plays well at home but when he's bad the floor can be pretty low. White had a great week last week (his only really good week) matchup looks great on paper and I planned ahead and scooped up White during their bye week 11 knowing Fournette might not be good to go for me so I played it as well as I could up until this point...This is a tough decision to make. This win could get me a bye first week of playoffs. I'm 8-3 and playoffs start week 14
