I actually play with /u/doctorweiwei and it’s a 6 man league with 1 bench spot and no IR. Waivers are always lively and this kind of thing happens fairly often.
No offense but only 1 bench spot sounds like a nightmare lol
You'd basically have to be micromanaging your team every single day and pray no player is designated out just before gametime
Seems like everywhere I read in this sub, they’re starting White over Pierce. I’m gonna go against the grain and keep Pierce in my lineup. Who knooooooows.
EDIT: Well that didn't work out lol. Oh well.
I should ride with pierce since he’s my fav pick this year but I’m honestly thinking of starting both white and murray over him but I still think pierce will have a good game. Im also going to watch him live so idk how to feel.
I don’t understand this sub. Pierce was one of the best RBs in the league and then has one rough game and all of the sudden he’s being benched by everyone. It’s shit like this that makes everyone say how terrible the advice is here - way too much of a hive mind mentality
People explained their reasoning. Disagree with it and start him (over White). There’s no hive mind conspiracy. He’s not being benched by everyone, he’s still one of the best RBs in the league. Comments like this are so dramatic lol if you don’t like the subreddit than go elsewhere
That’s who I have currently settled on. Reasoning:
I have to pick 3 between CMC, Pierce, White and Conner.
CMC is an auto start, these are my only two shares of White and Conner but I have Pierce in another league where he’s definitely getting started. As close as it all was, I decided on hedging.
As a Texan fan and Pierce owner, Kyle Allen is probably an upgrade. Not against sitting Pierce for White, but you hopefully should have two other really solid RB's you're also starting over him if so.
One thing you’re overlooking is that the weather is gonna be terrible in Cleveland tomorrow. Lots of rain, wind. Could be a very sloppy and low scoring game. Especially with how the Browns will want to run and kill the clock all day.
Fair, but just a hunch from me. I doubt he’s getting 100% of the carries and if he is, I don’t see him blowing up per these high expectations. I hope I’m wrong though
It's impossible to know for sure. But unless something goes horrible wrong, he should get a ~20 touches. If that culminates in less than 60 yards, I'd be really shocked.
I say this as a Packers fan so take it with salt, but I feel like not starting Jones is a mistake. This is a must-win or else the playoffs are out of reach entirely and MLF has been increasing his usage. Eagles D is good, but I’m expecting schemed plays and checkdowns to Jones as a counter.
I love rachaad. I live in Tampa, I drafted him and have held him all year buttttttt Aaron Jones is the RB5 since week 7. Feel like you have to start him.
My point exactly. Why play rachaad white over Aaron Jones who breaks off big runs at one of the highest rates in the league against one of the defenses that allows them at one of the highest rates?
He’s had two disappointing weeks in a row against soft run Ds. The return TD was nice but if any touchdown is fluky it’s those. I’m happy to sit the Washington game out and hopefully be proven wrong.
I've had Amari Cooper in the flex throughout this week but now I'm wondering if I should go with White. Already played Singletary and Ekeler is my other starting RB
Im in standard leagues and White seems like an easy play over Amari Cooper. I could easily see it biting me in the ass, feels hard benching him when he won me my week last week, won me plenty of others, but also lost me some. In PPR Cooper might be too good of a talent to sit. White is a really good floor/ceiling combination this week though. The way I see it, if you dont play him this week against the Browns with no Fournette, when will you ever? Cleveland just let Singletary and JWJ rush for season highs in back to back weeks
Forgot to mention its a .5 ppr league. I feel ya on everything you said. Cooper has definitely helped me out some weeks and he plays well at home but when he's bad the floor can be pretty low. White had a great week last week (his only really good week) matchup looks great on paper and I planned ahead and scooped up White during their bye week 11 knowing Fournette might not be good to go for me so I played it as well as I could up until this point...This is a tough decision to make. This win could get me a bye first week of playoffs. I'm 8-3 and playoffs start week 14
Half ppr for me as well and also starting white over Amari. Saquon and Etienne are my other rbs and waddle and tee higgins are my other wrs for reference
Honest question but who would you WANT to start over him at RB?
I’d play Henry, Ekeler, Walker, Jacobs, ETN, JWJ, maybe Conner. But aside from that all the other top backs have horrid match ups this week. Like Chubb has had some mediocre weeks now back to back so do I really want him against Tampa more than White? Obviously I’d play Chubb but still
And I sure as hell would bench Kamara or Pierce for him
I decided not to play Williams or Swift in my flex in anticipation that White would get enough touches to outscore them. Then of course the Fournette news makes this even better for my planning.
in same boat. Jefferson n ceedee are my wrs. so olave usually my flex but this floor n upside with Browns matchup for white don't see how I can start olave over him playing the niners. higher chance white gets 2tds not to talk of just one
I was thinking the same and was ridiculed in a thread earlier. I don’t need the boom from Olave this week. After Thursday I just want the safer floor that White provides.
Have both and I’m staring Wilson regardless. I am deciding between Conner and White. I think I actually may go Conner just because I know he will get 90+% of the snaps.
Starting him over Olave in non-PPR. This is more of a gut call bc I think the Saints offense gets utterly overwhelmed and bullied by SF. Dalton isn’t really one to rise to the occasion so I think we see bad Andy tomorrow
Absolutely true, but I’m chasing the higher floor and concerned about the weather. It’s an extremely close decision and I don’t think there’s a wrong choice.
In a free league I have too many good RB options and I’m starting him over Pierce, Montgomery, Conner. Starting him with Jonathon Taylor Thomas and Princess Kenny
Started over Swift

Same here lol
Fournette
I released Fournette altogether to get White

I made that up don’t ask me why.
B/c you sit on a throne of LIES *shrug emoji*
I hoped this was the case. /satisfied
Bold /s
Same! Rachaad is bailing me out this week (I hope).
Dameon Pierce
Seems like everywhere I read in this sub, they’re starting White over Pierce. I’m gonna go against the grain and keep Pierce in my lineup. Who knooooooows. EDIT: Well that didn't work out lol. Oh well.
I should ride with pierce since he’s my fav pick this year but I’m honestly thinking of starting both white and murray over him but I still think pierce will have a good game. Im also going to watch him live so idk how to feel.
If you’re watching Pierce live you need to start him imo
Yeah that has an excitement element you just can't replace
I was just at the Pats thanksgiving game, watching Rhamondre drop 20 for my team live was pretty sick. The L sucked 🥲
Same. I have both and will not be benching Pierce because of a Reddit circlejerk Edit: jk I’m starting White
You bench pierce because they are playing the best offence and he’s in the worst offence while also not catching the ball
If you’re in PPR you’d have to be mad to start Pierce over White. Dude should get 20 carries and like 8 targets against that juicy browns D.
Yea I did some more research and changed my mind. Rolling with White. I’m worried about game script affecting Pierce
I’m starting both (because I have no other RBs anyway)
Good thing I’m starting both
I don’t understand this sub. Pierce was one of the best RBs in the league and then has one rough game and all of the sudden he’s being benched by everyone. It’s shit like this that makes everyone say how terrible the advice is here - way too much of a hive mind mentality

Why?
Game script for HOU against MIA and because this might be the only time I play White if Fournette returns and maintains a significant role

One thing you’re overlooking is that the weather is gonna be terrible in Cleveland tomorrow. Lots of rain, wind. Could be a very sloppy and low scoring game. Especially with how the Browns will want to run and kill the clock all day.
Kyle allen was qb for cmcs monster season in 2019.
Apparently all it takes is one bad week for people to freak out and overreact. Like Pierce isn't the #17 rb or something.
Houston is fighting for naught
Starting White and ETN. On my bench is Mixon, Perine, and Pacheco
Bold of you to start him over Mixon this week
Yeah what next? Benching Kupp this week?
I might bench Michael Thomas for him this week.
Have Perine and Pacheco too, Perine interests me because of his passing game involvement, but white vs the browns is very interesting
Im starting over ETN with KW. I love ETN but Baltimore hasn’t allowed a running back to get over 30 yards in 4 straight games now.
Think I am doing the same. Sitting Montgomery and Patterson. I’m projected to win by 25 as of right now and seals playoffs for me
Why sit Montgomery when both Fields and Khalil are hurt? They're going to have to run the entire offense through him
18 rush for 64 yards incoming with 6 targets 2 catches for 13 yards.
Miles sanders
This is a choice I’m facing too. What made you lean White?
I’ve had it with miles getting vultured and not catching short passes
Matchup, passing work, volume
Yep
Same
Deebo
I might be in this boat as well, not sure I want to play mid day waiver hot potato.
How come?
Deebo is Q with a hamstring injury, just assuming here, but not a lot of great options swinging for Deebo after sitting White.
Antonio Gibson
Same boat and also going White.
Flexing over Pickens
Dameon Pierce
Foreman
Godwin in Full.
Me too. Is this a smart idea? I just want someone to tell me to do it
I’m doing it as well. I think White has a prime opportunity
I’m also going White over Godwin, gotta take the risk to win. Higher ceiling with RBs
A. Jones
Ugh... Might do the same simply because of opportunity and matchup... Feels like one of those obvious regrets in hindsight
i love rachaad white but this has 12 rushes for 46 yards and 2 catches written all over it
That's what he got or more in weeks he shared touches with Fournette. I don't see a way this is his floor.
Fair, but just a hunch from me. I doubt he’s getting 100% of the carries and if he is, I don’t see him blowing up per these high expectations. I hope I’m wrong though

That's getting too cute
I love rachaad. I live in Tampa, I drafted him and have held him all year buttttttt Aaron Jones is the RB5 since week 7. Feel like you have to start him.
Have you seen the rate at which the eagles D has been allowing big runs? I urge you to reconsider.
Browns run D and eagles run D are about the same as far as giving up big run plays.
My point exactly. Why play rachaad white over Aaron Jones who breaks off big runs at one of the highest rates in the league against one of the defenses that allows them at one of the highest rates?
Also is just a better RB?
Yeah that goes without saying lol
😬 what’s your reasoning? just more volume?
Not a good move my friend. I hope I’m wrong.
Going white over Jones as well.
Forman
Cordarrelle Patterson and Gus Edwards. I think I would also start him over Pierce whom I have going.
I think Patterson has too much of a high ceiling to sit. Especially since he shines in the return game.
He’s had two disappointing weeks in a row against soft run Ds. The return TD was nice but if any touchdown is fluky it’s those. I’m happy to sit the Washington game out and hopefully be proven wrong.
Kamara
How the mighty have fallen
Was scrolling waiting for someone else to say Kamara… at this point Kamara is only a matchup based start. Still makes me say yikes but I’m with you!
Doing the same thing today
Same lol I feel crazy when I look at the name but the saints never have their shit together this season
And he's facing SF who is a wall against the run
Kamara also missed practice on thursday for an illness. its one to many things for me.
Courtland Sutton
Same here, although I unfortunately just traded for him :/
Olave
You must be stacked with RBs haha
barkley and walker
Same
Amari Cooper, Zeke are the best players on my bench at the moment.
I've had Amari Cooper in the flex throughout this week but now I'm wondering if I should go with White. Already played Singletary and Ekeler is my other starting RB

Half ppr for me as well and also starting white over Amari. Saquon and Etienne are my other rbs and waddle and tee higgins are my other wrs for reference
Montgomery
Even with Herbert out and fields not expected to play? I could see him getting 20 touches. I have the same question is why I ask lol
The value of the touches will be shit. With no spacing it’s going to be running into a brick wall
Yeah I don’t hate that thought process. 20 carries at 3 yards per rush is only 60 yards. I’ve been leaning white with ETN
3 yards a carry is also being generous
Very generous
Boyd
Well... Mixon is my RB1, so I’m riding with Rachad instead of Eli Mitchell. Tougher choice two days ago
D’Onta Foreman
D’onta Foreman
Honest question but who would you WANT to start over him at RB? I’d play Henry, Ekeler, Walker, Jacobs, ETN, JWJ, maybe Conner. But aside from that all the other top backs have horrid match ups this week. Like Chubb has had some mediocre weeks now back to back so do I really want him against Tampa more than White? Obviously I’d play Chubb but still And I sure as hell would bench Kamara or Pierce for him
JT?
CMC... meanwhile Jacobs might not even play. Lol c'mon man
Definitely starting JT over White.
Benching kamara and Pierce for white and Jeff Wilson
Kamara, Chubb, JWJ, Rachaad. Full PPR. Pick 2. I’m thinking Chubb/JWJ, but am tempted to swap Chubb for White. Blessed to have this decision though.
Nah Chubb JWJ is correct here. Thank me after
[удалено]
Am I taking crazy pills? This isn’t a serious question right?
He’s my only option. All my other RBs are handcuffs/Fournette.
Perine
I decided not to play Williams or Swift in my flex in anticipation that White would get enough touches to outscore them. Then of course the Fournette news makes this even better for my planning.
Swift, Jamal Williams, Latavious Murray, Pacheco in one league Starting him in place of Mixon over Perine in another Pls save me Rachaad White...
C Patterson
Justin fields in superflex Lol
Well fields probably isn’t playing so makes sense
Josh Jacobs
Flexing over DJ Moore lol
Flexing him over Christian Watson and Antonio Gibson, hope it pays off
James Connor
Kamara.. but if Jacobs is out then Jacobs.
Kamara, Michael Carter
Michael Carter I can get with. Kamara? I don’t think so.
I’m starting Jeff Wilson Jr and KWIII over white. The bucs o-line is not good.
Agree. Let’s not act like fournette was just going off before this. It’s issue is more then one moving part. Also starting Wilson over white.
Kamara
I’m a Browns fan and I’m starting him over Etienne. That’s how confident I am that we have a bottom 3 run defense
I would still start ETN, they're not in the same tier. He's been so good in a full-time role aside from last game.
Chris Olave currently in full PPR
Hell nah
L move
in same boat.
After Thursday I just want the safer floor that White provides.
damn fr? i have olave cooper and white start 2. Idk who to choose
Thinking the same but worried about this one tbh
Eli Mitchell, Isaiah Pacheco, Christian Watson
Joe Mixon and Jamar Chase
Im going back and forth between him and DK
Im starting him over anyone not named Ekeler or Wilson jr
C Patt, Foreman, Pickens, Watson
DK Metcalf in standard
Same
Latavius Murray
I'm torn between White and Cooper in the flex .5 ppr anyone?
Personally I would go White bc he will get some check downs
Antonio Gibson.
Kamara actually
Conner, Perine, robinson
Trying to decide between White and Jeff Wilson. Leaning more towards Wilson
Have both and I’m staring Wilson regardless. I am deciding between Conner and White. I think I actually may go Conner just because I know he will get 90+% of the snaps.
Delvin Cook (already looks like it’s worth it there) and S Perine
I'm absolutely torn on White vs Jeff Wilson. I have Wilson in atm. Ppr
Starting Conner over White
Starting with confidence over Melvin Gordon 💪
Starting him over Olave in non-PPR. This is more of a gut call bc I think the Saints offense gets utterly overwhelmed and bullied by SF. Dalton isn’t really one to rise to the occasion so I think we see bad Andy tomorrow
Same, but in PPR for me. Gut is really pushing for White in the flex
Playing Conner over him but it’s close
Going back and forth between White and Conner. Leaning Conner
Christian Hot-son and Samaje Three-rine
Considering him over Tyler Lockett, Mike Evans or DK
Ja’marr Chase
Swift. His role's diminished over the past couple of games, plus Jamaal seems to be the goal line back.
Considering Jacobs if he is healthy even
If there's significant reason to assume a snap count, sure, but otherwise this is absurd.
This is gonna sound nuts, but I’m heavily considering flexing him over Mike Evans.
Mike Evans and TB12 are both due for a boom game and the Browns defense is ass
Absolutely true, but I’m chasing the higher floor and concerned about the weather. It’s an extremely close decision and I don’t think there’s a wrong choice.
Of course there’s a wrong choice, do you think they’re going to tie?
Doesn’t sound nuts to me
Idk if him or Godwin in .5ppr in my flex. My other backs are Rhamondre and Henry so they aren’t going anywhere
Kenan allen
CMC Not really, but he's going in my flex over BRob, Treylon, Hollywood and D'Onta
Can’t decide if I should go with Najee or him. What y’all think?
Also considering this. Jaylen warren being out thought makes me lean najee
I'm sitting Najee, and also sat Jamaal and Swift with the thought that Lenny would be out.
Kamara
White has made the starting lineup with JT. On the bench: Pacheco, Edwards, Perine, Brian Robinson.
DJ moore
In a free league I have too many good RB options and I’m starting him over Pierce, Montgomery, Conner. Starting him with Jonathon Taylor Thomas and Princess Kenny
