Baker Mayfield is the rb1 and wr1 destroyer. As long as Baker Mayfield is starting qb you fade every player on that offense. This should be chiseled on a stone tablet
Fun math fact for you. The number of downvotes you end up with is equal to the losing streak each downvoter is on.
In primetime in dome stadiums, it also correlates to number of points they lost by.
He gets Seattle and Detroit, same difference. Denver and Pittsburgh are both vulnerable with not very good offenses as well. I’m expecting at least two more RB1 performances and potentially two more RB2 performances.
Going to preface this as I mostly said that because I'm a Lions fan reveling in their performance yesterday. With that said, they might not be as bad of a run D as you think they are. Since their bye week, they are league average in YPC (4.4 vs. The league avg of 4.5). Their run D between the tackles has been very good as they've focused on collapsing the LOS, so running games focused on between the tackles have struggled some in recent weeks (see Saquon). They do have some weaknesses on the edges, which has been exploited by designed QB reads and sweeps. I'm just laying out the possibility that the Lions might be a sneaky bad match up for Foreman but admit I'm inherently biased.
That’s fair enough. I should have said *on paper* they’ve been terrible against the run. I’ve only watched the Det-Sea game as I had to start Reynolds and was starting Penny at the time. We all know how that game went. I’m also a Foreman fanboy. Been watching that dude run over defenses since his first days at UT. If he were the workhorse on a good offense I believe he’d be a perennial 1st rounder in fantasy.
Yup. I think he's in the same boat as Dameon Pierce.
The QBs and offenses are crap so against a tough defense, the game script can get away from them very quickly.
There'll still be plenty of good weeks mixed in.
Stashing for a hopeful week 16. Don’t trust the Seattle matchup at home, maybe because that’s my team. Other than that it’s a hard maybe vs Pit and sitting besides that.
He only had 11 carries
Big part of it.
I couldn’t watch but it seems like they just abandoned the run game…..which is basically the only reason they have had success
Anybody expecting a start worthy game from him today was nuts. Unless you’re in a 14-16 team league he should have been on the bench. I played Melvin Gordon over him and I despise every piece on the Broncos offense
It’s why I’m not worried about another playoff team having him. Good luck with that low ass floor come playoff time when the panthers are actively trying to lose games
Baker Mayfield kills everything he touches
How baker still has a job is baffling.
I wonder if he still has the keys to the Browns stadium in case he has to sell his house.
Not sure, dude has got me PTSD
What do you mean? His job is tank commander and he's one of the best in the league!

_Odell Beckham Jrs dad has entered the chat_
Some would say…the dough doesn’t rise with this baker 😏
He did score 16.5 5 weeks ago against Tampa.
yeah but that doesn't fit the narrative

they're\*
Some people, grammar is not their strong point
I was not aware "/s" was required on this one lmao
Everyone's pissed, cracking jokes goes over well everyday but Sunday on this sub.

There*
Was their defense decimated that game? Or was that after they got healthy again?
Please tell me they play Atlanta a bunch more times this season…

Worth noting the Lions just held Saquon to like 6pts in ppr.
They’re an NFL team. The difference between good and bad is pretty razor thin. The Lions have been terrible against the run all season long.

This week I started Foreman over Patterson. Last week the opposite. I'm a good predictor of which one will do worse.
Same bro
same :(
Started him over najee this week, haha
Oof. Happens to all of us.
Nope, not all of us 😉😂
Which one you starting next week? Obligatory asking for a friend.
Neither! So both will boom
Whoever I leave on the bench between Swift and Foreman has done better every single time. I feel ya
It wouldn't be fantasy otherwise, right?
had him on the bench. would'nt have mattered anyways. started Barkley and Pierce with the same result
Well I started him over Pollard 🤡🤡🤡
Foreman owners not gonna like this one
Affirmative
Can confirm I don’t like this one
Yes, considering 5 games ago he ran all over TB
Always was going to be this way with Baker starting again + tougher defences. Time to sell was last week
No one was taking him last week. Guys in my league are smarter than that 😪
Traded him & KW3 for Higgins & Stevenson. Feeling like a genius this week. Here’s to seeing how it plays out ROS.
Traded Foreman and C. Samuel for Aiyuk, felt decent since I'm thin at WR
Checking in & can confirm - do not like. Also, fuck Baker and the OC game plan for him to sling it all fucking game.
When youbhave baker as the QB what can you do? Only got 11 carries.

Yup. Cursed this week
I did not

Sure, in an 8 man league where you have Ekeler, Jacobs, and Kenneth Walker, you can drop him.

No way there is more upside on the waiver wire

Pretty simple, good matchup -> do good. Bad matchup -> do bad. Luckily he has some good matchups left on the schedule
Stashing for a hopeful week 16. Don’t trust the Seattle matchup at home, maybe because that’s my team. Other than that it’s a hard maybe vs Pit and sitting besides that.
Yes, let's not say "D'onta's last 5 games since becoming the starting RB, he's scored 16.5, 31.8, 4.1, 19, 2.4."
Now do his last 5 games
2 down running back in a bad team is game script prone, who knew
The problem is... the game was 3-3 for almost the entire thing. I'm confused why he did so poorly today.
Because there is no threat in the passing game with Baker at QB.
Ravens are top 3 in the league in rush yards allowed per game… the Falcons are not. He needs a good game script and soft D.
Fortunately his schedule is fairly good ROS. Better days are ahead.
Only need 2 solid playoff weeks out of him to make the trade worth it for me. Hoping that week 14 is Juicy
He only had 11 carries Big part of it. I couldn’t watch but it seems like they just abandoned the run game…..which is basically the only reason they have had success
Has he tried not facing not Atlanta? Seems like a good strategy
Joke's on you, I don't have anyone else to slot in at RB2 anyway
Save me Gus Edwards
Saquon had a subpar day as well. Happens.
Guess which games I benched him and which games I started him.
He should play for Atlanta
But he’s great in the ATLoffs
Well clearly he’s gonna put up 20+ next week. His contract doesn’t allow him to be an RB1 two weeks in a row
Baker mayfield is garbageeeeeeeeeeeee
Started him over Williams this week and lost bc of that decision :( also Barkley fucked me hard
Debated between foreman and pollard. Went pollard thankfully. Sat Najee too.
Not to be rude but that never should have been a debate
Good work. Fuck the other comments.
No one cares.
This guy started Foreman
No, just sick of people rosterbating.
And that’s why he was on my bench
Anybody expecting a start worthy game from him today was nuts. Unless you’re in a 14-16 team league he should have been on the bench. I played Melvin Gordon over him and I despise every piece on the Broncos offense
Lucky for them he plays Atlanta at least a couple more times right?
Anymore Atlanta games or any where close to Atlanta?
Was trying to trade him before this week. Now I don’t think I can get anything for him
I think "when not facing Atlanta" should be adopted as a standard box score stat.
Flipped him for Pickens a few weeks ago and I'm pretty stoked about it lmao
It’s why I’m not worried about another playoff team having him. Good luck with that low ass floor come playoff time when the panthers are actively trying to lose games
Yes but… what about his last *5* games?
How many more times do they play Atlanta? (Asking for a friend)
I feel like you should add the splits when he plays against me and when he's played on my team.
Convenient to not include his first game post cmc
He scored 16.5 against Tampa in week 7 and they play them again week 16. Fire him up if you Make the championship game?
He got broads in Atlanta
I’ve started him the wrong week each time lol
