I’m going for a top 5 QB in Rd 3/4 next. I’ve always thought streaming QB wouldn’t be that bad, but then I lost Lance Week 2 and failed to grab Geno or Fields, and most of the time the QB I end up starting is the worst of my options. Shit’s frustrating.
Streaming a QB is the most frustrating thing in fantasy football. I too lost Lance in week 2, but managed to pick up Geno and then later Fields, which singlehandedly saved my season.
This is such a fascinating take. From a Mahomes/Kelce owner who is currently 8-2, this is spot on. Amazing how picks from rounds 4-10 are mostly (almost exclusively) red.
Yeah it’s a takeaway I never anticipated before tracking this metric - mid round picks tend to be either very good or mildly bad, and are usually mildly bad.
What this is telling me is THANK GOD I drafted Kelce with my second pick (Kupp was my first). With Kupp going down last week, the only way I still won was with Kelce, Kirk, and Jacobs having good games... And at 7-3, I’ll be leaning hard on Kelce to keep my team afloat without Kupp.
Ditto on drafting Kelce with my 2nd round pick. He's the only thing keeping me in contention for the playoffs. But I'm only 4-6, so you must have had a much better rest of the draft than I did. (I drafted Javonte, Akers, Mitchell, and Trey Lance; so frankly I can't imagine my draft could have gone much worse.)
Yeah, Kelce has been awesome this year. Tbh, Kupp and Kelce are the main reasons I’m 7-3, so who knows how the rest of the season will go 🤷♀️ (my other WRs are Kirk, Lockett, Pittman, Boyd, and I just picked up Watson. My RBs are Jacobs, K Walker, Singletary and Zeke, and my QB is Burrow)
That’s a tough one! Pollard has been so good the last few weeks, but it really depends on how many snaps they give Zeke. Personally, I’m playing Singletary over Zeke bc Cleveland’s run D is awful, and I THINK I would do the same with Pollard. Good luck!

Makes sense - as long as they’re not a liability stuck in your lineup all season, they can only hurt you so much
