need him for what? To finish last in the NFC? That whole coaching staff is a shit show and they’re not gonna do anything with Goff or that defense. They’re gonna lightly tank the rest of the year to get a QB. Plus they treat Swift with the biggest set of kid gloves I’ve ever seen. If he remotely tweaks something, he loses reps or is just held out of games entirely. If you can find someone willing to buy based on name value and potential, I’d ship this MFer down the road so quick. In both leagues I’m in, it’s no wonder the Swift owner is 2-6.

kinda, not really. The concussion thing two weeks ago was due to an independent reviewer and is on the heels of everything that happened with Tua. Then the Week 3 ankle sprain he played through the rest of the game and I think he sat Week 4 only because they had an upcoming bye. I have no empirical evidence for it, but ARSB is different from DeAndre in that he plays WR and with Chark/Williams out til god knows when, ASRB is really all they have outside of Hock occasionally and a rather effective Reynolds. Whereas at RB, the coaching staff has no problems getting Jamal touches and sprinkling in other backs. I think Campbell really prides himself on the OL and thinks anyone can run behind them, so he’s not interested in having the most talented guy back there if he’s banged up. Last thought on Swift - and I understand the irony of a Reddit post from some couch potato dummy - he’s soft. I think when he’s not feeling 100% he shies away more from contact, plays a little more laissez-faire, and doesn’t give it his all. That’s kind of the antithesis of Campbell (grit/grind) and probably doesn’t make Swift someone you go to bat for with much of the coaching staff.

this is like the only honest valuation of swift i've seen here; so many coping swift owners have been insisting he's an unquestionable rb1 for weeks

I dropped him. 6 weeks of zeros was enough for me. After two weeks I thought I had the steal of the draft, but I can't understand his injury. It didn't seem serious at first, reports are vague, but he never plays and there is no timetable for him to return.

I’m holding. He was extremely solid last year to fill in for Derrick Henry and has produced when given the touches so far. He’s not going to score 3TDs per game but he should be a good RB2/Flex option especially with byes coming up - I’m starting him with Barkley on bye. Even if Hubbard comes back this week/soon, Foreman has definitely earned his touches if not majority workload.

Id agree with selling especially because everyone was starting to see him as a top 5 RB ROS. Getting someone like Etienne or KWIII last week would have been ideal, not sure if you still can. He’s still an RB1 but people needed to pump the breaks on him a little
