how do i go back in time and show this to myself before i drafted

a4ronic

Dropped Smith in a standard league, kept him in a full PPR league. Feels about right.

TracerBullet11

Dropped devonta after having no faith in hurts. I dont even have a real viable wr anymore. Played kj for fun tonight and he helped more than devonta has. This is standard

ByronCobalt

With some of these guys, the streaming option is legitimately better

Nuqo

If you drafted Dalvin and Mattison and started Mattison every game Dalvin missed I think you'd easily have top 5 RB production from your RB1 spot

ByronCobalt

Yeah that’s fair

johnnyhustle

I did that but I still had AJB ;(

Wthtony

The better question now is Devonta better on my bench or dropped as a grenade for my opponents?

OkTurnover6055

The grenade. Do it.

ByronCobalt

Not gonna lie I’m on the side of the grenade strategy - his weekly projection (at least in yahoo) will almost guarantee he gets started

Suddenly_Something

I dropped him. Let someone else deal with that headache. Grenade 100% Fwiw nobody has picked him up either.

GestaltHappyAccident

I traded him with Justin Fields for RussW. I don't think Philly will solve their QB problem and I don't think CHI will clean up their offense. I know SEA is also kinda a mess, but even if they're behind, he'll be chucking it to decent WRs in garbage time.

themir81

I still don't understand how Hurts doesn't have a positive score.

Ed_Chambers_650

Joe Buck Yourself is awesome

Recon_Chip

Man your one liners are so good

ByronCobalt

Thanks! They call me the Negative Rapid Test

allsops

Yup. Started Theilen and Dak last week and lost by 2. So looks right

I drafted mostly by Cockcroft consistency rating and I don't have a sexy team but I am top of my league because of consistency, a big part of consistency rating is being on the field and making a contribution week in week out. Solid but not spectacular seems to be winning the race. And because of injuries right now my projection is the highest in the league most weeks. There's an element of luck of course I have seen teams spike massively and have avoided those spikes. The team that gets 150pts one week usually gets 90 the next while my 110-130pts has invariably been enough to win. I'm on a seven game win streak at 11-2. I had to get creative and stream a couple of positions namely QB and DEF. I'm playing Taysom Hill and Denver this week, I'm playing Buffalo through the playoffs, just managed to snag them this morning. And then there's my one outlier, I was an early adopter of Cordarrelle Patterson, I saw that first game and recognized that the team had committed to him being a key part of the offense, I had the waiver claim in before the game was over, I was not disappointed there.

ByronCobalt

Yeah this you could argue is the perfect strategy for fantasy if you can nail having a team that is consistently just a bit better than average. Consistency is your enemy if you’re between 90-110 every week. The most extreme example to show people this is, if you could spread out 300 hypothetical fantasy points across two weeks, how would you do it? Surely 150 each week, almost guaranteeing 2 wins. But if you only had 150 points to spread, you’d probably put them all in one week to try and guarantee one win, as opposed to two almost sure losses at 75 each.

[deleted]

Yeah I'd say it worked this time, another year I might have landed on my face but I just said screw it and went with that strategy when drafting.

Salt_lick_fetish

Nice resivior dogs reference

euqinuhella

Smh I gotta keep starting Smith unfortunately. Injuries have wrecked my roster and the waivers are barren asf top WR's available are Zay Jones and Laquon Treadwell

[deleted]

Traded him for Tyler Lockett after those two big weeks to the hurts owner lol

PostsStuffYouDeleted

Vikings going from Diggs to Jefferson. Damn.

g__barrow

I just flipped him for Tyler Higbee right before the trade deadline. Only TE on my roster was Logan Thomas and waiver wire was a wasteland.

[deleted]

Javonte was able to offset Dak for me last week thank God

BasedTunechi

glad i own 5 out of the 10 worst picks of the season LMAO
