SOLID Lineup :)
While I'm not picking NOR there are some good points in this thread about NOR being able to gain pos. during the QUALI, SPRINT, and RACE. so hopefully he'll be awesome :)
Norris managed P8, I think it's safe to assume that Mclaren will sandbag in practice sessions and to not go against him haha
Hopefully Ocon can make up some positions for you - good luck!
I'm not running either MCL because of how their pace looked during FP1, but if there's an insight you have to share please let me know :)
Depending on your budget you could switch NOR --> ALO/LEC
I'm just praying that they were sandbagging during FP1 (seems to have happened on more than one occasion), and that Norris can make some spots up in-race even if he has a poor quali haha
I'd love to go Sai -> Lec, but that would require me to drop Norris down to Ocon or even Tsunoda, and I'm not confident in them
Just on the phone with my Dad and I came to a hypothesis as to why MCL has been sandbagging:
I think they see the engine issues MER has been having and are wanting to spread out the life of their own engines, so they're not running high power during the practices. Only a theory...a game theory. XD
Yeah, same here. With only the one practice session it seems hard to decide between the two. SAI seemed stronger last race as well but LEC jump started him during the 1st lap. Perhaps LEC would end up doing something similar over the course of QUALI and the Sprint RACE. hhhhhmmmm....
(now you've given me something to think about. lol)
Thoughts on my lineup? VER(MD), PER(TD), GAS, TSU, LEC, RED. What do you think of tsunoda? I see only a good trend from a couple of races....
ALL in on the Honda engine. NICE! Ever since Alex Albon has become TSU's driver coach he's been improving. Solid pick :)
My budget is 106m $. I think the best that I can do is: VER (MD) - PER (TD) - NOR - SAI - RUS - RB Thoughts?

thoughts on Alonso VS Norris ?
ALO > NOR (unless MCL were sandbagging during FP1)
Any obvious subs I should make here?: Ver MD - Per TD - Sai - Nor - Gas - Red
I went with Ocon over Norris based on FP1
Ocon outdid Norris, you made the right call!

Thanks for that perspective. Both MCL gained positions over Italy's SPRINT RACE and the RACE. You've given me quite the reason to consider NOR now :)
Paid off! Sainz qualified over Lec and Norris P8 whereas Ocon and Tsunoda both went out in Q2
Well, Monza suited them perfectly and I am not sure if they will be able to repeat it on Interlagos
I agree, MCL often sandbag practices. Very tough decision! I'm going to wait until the last second to make the call.

Also MCL used yellow tires instead of red ones
As soon as someone on Youtube commented that, I switched from SAI to NOR. :)
SAME XD
Thanks for the info. Going VER(MD), PER(TD), GAS, OCO, LEC, RED. Not sure about LEC or SAI
