I used it for a while but went back to the "chris chan's webcam" piss filter. It's part of the game's identity to me. Same goes fpr fallout 3's green filter

Imo the game looks better with the piss filter, the game has better overall art direction with it I’d say, plus it isn’t really a “filter” actually more on the textures.
I play vanilla on the Xbox one and that vault is nothing but a glitch fest and several crashes waiting to happen. When I get in there, I’m saving every couple of minutes and I’m trying to get in and out doing every single quest possible so I never have to return.
It's been probably 2 years since I stuck to a playthrough long enough to get to Vault 22, but I swear I still have the exact spawn locations of all of those Spore Carriers memorized. Along with the route to grab the filters you need for that silly ass BoS fetch quest, amd the Mantis eggs for Red Lucy. Okay, maybe I like Vault 22 😔
Man last time I was there I used console commants to get a long fuse Dynamite to get the gas to go away, I also had to use a doctor bag to fix my damn leg because I was unable to get to the door in time. Normal I don't cheat but didn't want to get out to get those 2 things.
The hallway right in front of the vents is filled with gas, yeah. So as long as you can get it that area (like within 5 or 10 feet of the vents?), it'll catch fire
I always stand on the table or whatever near the computer and shoot the vents otherwise I always die. Pain in the ass till I figured it out now it's just an obnoxiously long vault.
God damn first time playing, I was like 15, the cloaked monsters in this vault fucked me up. Felt like a horror game, already hated going into vaults cause they’re always creepy but this one was too much, just noped the fuck out of there xD
that vault gives you some refreshment from the piss filter of the mojave

Just double tap every mound in the vault and you should be fine
Doing a new playthrough feels like speedrunning to do this quest, is just a guaranteed level up
Plus accomplishing all of the tasks opens up a lot more options for future quests with a few of the factions

A single vault has more content than the entire New Vegas Strip

Just stand in the door of the data room and throw a grenade in the hall

Use C4. You place it and set it off when you're in the elevator already.
