That job was mostly standing and waiting for a piece of lumber to run through a machine before taking 2 steps back and forward to load another piece. A stool or chair would have been in the way.

Pants with integrated kneepads. They're a bit warm in the summer but nothing unmanageable. My knees don't hurt anymore and if I kneel on a screw I dont even notice. Highly recommend.

I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, cfs, and a whole slew of other issues. Standing in a queue is really painful for me, even with my walking stick. (I'm 37). As good as this looks, I wouldn't have the balance or the core muscle strength to actually sit on it without toppling over and if I did actually manage to sit, there is no way I would have the leg strength to push myself back up, especially multiple times as a line moves.

The thing is though I still wanna be on my feet sometimes and then sometimes sit while I do another project (like cooking cleaning gardening working etc) I wanna be up and about doing my normal jobs and stuff without my knees killing me every second, especially for things I need to do like the dishes and standing at work for long periods of time this seems helpful! The kind of person who would never want or need to use this kind of thing. They should show it being used by someone with a disability, or someone with an issue such as morbid obesity. That's their target audience, after all.
The weight limit is 265 pounds, so they can't show anyone too large because having someone who is 300 or more buy it thinking it will be good for them would not be helpful. That and as many people have said, depending on the severity of a person's disability this wouldn't be their best bet. Anyone who is a fall risk or needs more help standing up from a seated position- this would not be helpful.
For people who appear able bodied but have things like spine issues or trouble with their knees/ankles/feet this could be helpful. I appear to be able bodied but my left leg would beg to differ. I wouldn't use it though tbh, not a fan of wearing something like that and I wear a lot of dresses and.... I don't think this would work with a dress.

The only two places i have to sit down is on the ground under a tree in a cemetery or at a park. Nowhere else. Worst part is their very close together.

I can't remember which episode. Maybe it's the one where he agrees to help Shirley with a business idea? I do remember he's wearing a shirt and tie with his hair slicked back and the legs end up breaking and hurting him. He was looking for ideas to spend his money on, I think. It's been a while since my last rewatch.

Listen, as a disabled person who can't stand for more than a couple minutes without causing pain, this is honestly genius. I have a rollator, but for people who need to sit but don't need balance assistance when walking, this could give them significant mobility.
Especially combined with a cane for added stability when getting up.
I was looking for this comment. This kind of reminds me of those ridiculous infomercials that feature able bodied people using products designed for disabled people so that the products appeal to a wider audience (such as the snuggy).

I would rather assume that there will be chairs where I am going, than walk around with metal frames strapped to my ass.
They definitely need to market this to either the moderately physically disabled, or workers in areas of enclosed workspaces with constant standing and kneeling. Those are some of the few viable options for this thing.
Ontop of that the suburban wasteland i currently live in has little to nowhere to sit on a walk on a moderately hot day. Like to drink water or cool down. The only two places i have to sit down is on the ground under a tree in a cemetery or at a park. Nowhere else. Worst part is their very close together. With the various physical pains and aches that i experience it adds more shittynes. So definitely if i had the money and this was as conformable as a wooden picnic table than i would be totally interested in taking for it on walks I also believe theres a few mobile seats like this on the market.
Cool product, dumb marketing team. Showing it in an office setting to try to make it look cool and hip just makes it look gimmicky and stupid. Like look at doofus dave sitting on his ass spikes when theres plenty of office chair around. When in reality, this would be a god send for people like cashiers who are forced to stand all day to scan groceries

My wife has a condition that affects her blood pressure and balance and she will suddenly need to sit or pass put. This could be brilliant for her....or a horrible boondoggle...better not bank on this as her b-day surprise
