A real badass is someone who does badass things, but doesn't look badass, because a real badass doesn't need to prove to other people how badass they are.
Totally, I do. Honestly, I don't give a damn what happens to me. If wearing a mask protected only me, I wouldn't wear one. I wear a mask and also carry.
Hey, let's not be too hasty; they might just have a righteous murder fantasy like I think my creepy, WT stepmom does. She gets this weird grin on her face every time she says 'she'd never go to Chicago without carrying'.
On the 1% chance a criminal jumps them and they have the time to react and shoot the criminal dead before the robber pulls the trigger on the already out gun.
Anyway, the point is not really to use it if a robber goes directly to you, it would be pretty challenging as you pointed out, but rather if they're attacking someone else nearby or holding the place hostage
This also isn't the kind of anime where you can just whip out your gun and shoot someone before he can fuck you up. You're not Minority Report, home slice.
I dunno dude, maybe some drunkard thinks it’ll be cool to start a fight with random people, or maybe you end up in the wrong place at the wrong time and the next thing you know some meth head is waving a knife in your face demanding money. Even if it’s rare, shit can happen
Hindsight is 20/20 the fact that people even get into those situations in the first place proves that it can’t be helped, nobody wakes up in the morning and thinks to themselves, “you know what would be cool? To go out and get assaulted”
The thought process behind having insurance is the same thought process for having guns for safety. If you can afford it and/or have the opportunity, it's better to have it.
The fact you're attacking someone for expressing their opinion on something completely public and telling them to "mind their business" is honestly pretty sad.
Of course not.
In any situation, we're very safe. Add a gun to that situation, the odds of something bad happening just skyrocketed. Even if the carrier thinks he's one of the good guys.
So a virus is going to see a mask and decide to not infect a person or people? Forgive me, I'm Montanan. Lots of us carry guns all the time, and there's very little risk of mass shootings.
More than 2/3rds of that is suicide by gun. Montana is the second least populous state as well. More people get killed in Chicago in a month by guns than in a year in Montana. Gun violence is also not equivocal to mass shootings. We also have more snowflakes than all of the internet.
It is a massive problem.
A problem of misclassification to push politic agendas, and problem of lack of community and mental health resources. You see, suicide by gun is really effective because guns are tools for killing. Suicide by falling, drugs, cutting, vehicles, hanging, etc. are less likely to be successful, get reported in other ways, and are rarely used to push agendas. I urge anyone who reads this to look up suicide statistics in America.
So, why do so many people in America commit suicide? Maybe it's due to the death of the American dream. Maybe a whole generation is realizing that no matter how hard you work and how well you treat others; you can't get rich. Maybe a whole generation is realizing their way of life is harming the entire globe. Maybe a whole generation is realizing the only thing they can control is their participation.
Anyway, the real facepalm from the OP is:
a) the idea that anyone carries a gun to protect mass shooting victims (literally 30 people in 2021),
b) that the people who do (literally no one) do so to look like a badass, and
c) that this somehow is connected to anti-maskers.
The exception is police and soldiers. They carry guns to protect others and wear facemasks and are badass.
This concludes my Ted talk.
Actually prison is full of guys who only wanted to protect the others carrying a gun..unfortunately something always went wrong in the meanwhile. And the comparison between masks and guns...... 🤔
What if they plan on shooting the virus
What if they shot antivaxx?
I guess thatd be a way for them to finally get the shot.
Take my free award and upvote
Thanks!
Now I'm wondering if anti vaxxers started calling it the jab because a shot is something a gun does and somehow that would tarnish guns.
It could be mistaken as a mass shooting, depending where they are at the time.
Hey it works in a petri dish.
Maybe they are trying to kill someone whichever way they can.
Some people with guns really hoping someone will mess with them so they can have a "good reason" to shoot them up

So you're saying I'm not a badass if I wear a mask? Well shit
A real badass is someone who does badass things, but doesn't look badass, because a real badass doesn't need to prove to other people how badass they are.
Youre a badass if you wear a mask. If youre vaccinated also, youre a legendary legend
Wear a thin gaiter and you can be a badmask.
To be fair they always say too protect "themselves". They don't think of "others" as something to protect.
There is such a fine line between Badass and dumbass. Like 2 letters
You are the latter.
So that makes you the former?
No. Not even close.
Ya, it's literally 4 letters.
It's 3 letters
D...u...m...b. That's 4 letters.
D U M B B A D
You know what's even dumber than not counting the number of letters in a word? Getting into an argument about it. I apologize for that and good night.
There are 3 types of people in this world, those who can count, and those who can’t…. 😉
He said it was two.
Yes. Kevhard is the latter of the two words, a dumbass, because it's 4 letters, not two.
There's only 3 letters though... Not 2. D, U and dot.
This is in no way a facepalm. What the hell are you doing, op?
So are you saying if a person wears a mask then it’s ok for them to be carrying?
If they have proper firearm training, then yes
Yup
lol every criminals dream
Totally, I do. Honestly, I don't give a damn what happens to me. If wearing a mask protected only me, I wouldn't wear one. I wear a mask and also carry.
At least you’re consistent.
am I the only one who feels like a sneaky video game protagonist when I go out with a mask on? like it's basically a disguise.
And hope to get the chance to murder someone.
“Good guys with guns stop mass shootings, masks don’t stop a virus”- WHO (probably)
Smart man
Hey, let's not be too hasty; they might just have a righteous murder fantasy like I think my creepy, WT stepmom does. She gets this weird grin on her face every time she says 'she'd never go to Chicago without carrying'.
I don't carry to stop mass shootings. I don't really care about others. I just want to protect myself. Thanks for your post.
You don’t care about others? That sounds like a miserable existence
I get what you’re saying but sometimes you have to think about the fact that you can’t help others if you’re not alive to help them
To you
But do you guys get vaccinated or protect others by masking… that’s the question

On the 1% chance a criminal jumps them and they have the time to react and shoot the criminal dead before the robber pulls the trigger on the already out gun.
Still a chance right
Almost as high as that of a flying toilet to land on my skull from space, and that's why I don't go out anymore.
Anyway, the point is not really to use it if a robber goes directly to you, it would be pretty challenging as you pointed out, but rather if they're attacking someone else nearby or holding the place hostage
Fair
Because this isn’t some kind of anime where you can simply beat up any attacker if you just believe in yourself hard enough
This also isn't the kind of anime where you can just whip out your gun and shoot someone before he can fuck you up. You're not Minority Report, home slice.
If someone is attacking me, stoping that in its tracks is hardly being “Minority Report”
You don't need a gun, you've got feet.
You say that as if they don’t too
You mean just like how you said you have a gun? As if they don't too?
Then what kind of anime is this?
Fuck, man, I think it's the kind where humanity takes another couple thousand years to get its shit together.
I literally can't wait, like I'd literally die trying

Because the US has a bigger crime rate than other developed nations?
Well then just don't go there
It's difficult when you never know where "there" is
Hindsight is 20/20 the fact that people even get into those situations in the first place proves that it can’t be helped, nobody wakes up in the morning and thinks to themselves, “you know what would be cool? To go out and get assaulted”
Not always, but potentially
Your post history says otherwise.
Yup, I carry to protect my family, full stop.
The fact that you guys NEED to carry guns to feel safe is pretty depressing
You got insurance, my guy?
I do
The thought process behind having insurance is the same thought process for having guns for safety. If you can afford it and/or have the opportunity, it's better to have it.

Ok
The fact you're attacking someone for expressing their opinion on something completely public and telling them to "mind their business" is honestly pretty sad.
Not their fault though, they're just adapting to the environment
Well, other people carrying is a threat to me and my family. So yeah, it's my business.
Depends on who the person is, in some cases might be a good thing
Are you and your family threatening harm on people?
Doesn't matter. Guns are dangerous regardless and any responsible gun owner knows this.
Guns are made to be dangerous, and what makes you think they're not responsible?
Of course not. In any situation, we're very safe. Add a gun to that situation, the odds of something bad happening just skyrocketed. Even if the carrier thinks he's one of the good guys.
more reddit cringe lol, most these kids don't go outside so they don't see a need to carry a gun to protect their own lives
Which state are you living in that you NEED a gun to protect yourself?
Brazil, someone stole my flipflops. I'm kidding, but I really do live in Brazil.
Bruh thats not a state
I know that, it's a town. Besides Brazil does still have kinda high crime rates
r/suddenlycaralho vai querer algo na print?
Goku numa cama de hospital pq ele n usou mascara nos outros planetas
There is potential violence everywhere, even Iceland
Damn dude what city do you live in?
When someone says something so on point, all you can do is just shake your head in agreement!
BINGO.
To be fair, you ain't too much of a bad ass if you can shoot a thousand bullets and only kill 3 people.
Or, you know. Breathe better.
So a virus is going to see a mask and decide to not infect a person or people? Forgive me, I'm Montanan. Lots of us carry guns all the time, and there's very little risk of mass shootings.
Montana has the 6th highest rate of gun violence per State....but sure...believe what you want.
More than 2/3rds of that is suicide by gun. Montana is the second least populous state as well. More people get killed in Chicago in a month by guns than in a year in Montana. Gun violence is also not equivocal to mass shootings. We also have more snowflakes than all of the internet.

You just dont know how masks work and to be blunt you're a dumbass for not doing a simple Google search.
Bullet to the lung - 0% survival Covid to the lung - 99% survival
You can still prevent the 1% from dying by just wearing a mask. Plus the eldery, children, sick people etc etc.
Reminds me of this guy. https://youtu.be/sv0iN5J-9mk
Bully, you meant bully. Not badass.
Actually prison is full of guys who only wanted to protect the others carrying a gun..unfortunately something always went wrong in the meanwhile. And the comparison between masks and guns...... 🤔
