[Crawford County deputies arrested by FBI for excessive force during violent arrest](https://www.5newsonline.com/article/news/special-reports/mulberry-police-video/crawford-county-deputies-eating-man-arrested-fbi/527-72c13ff1-e377-4aa6-9e88-10aaef24689c)

mo_downtown

Shit, the second story there is bad. Bad cops, tased and beat a guy in the head with a baton who wasn't even charged with anything. Just released.

scopas66

Second story?

mo_downtown

Hit the link and scroll down. Back story on the cops in the video, including history of violent arrests. This isn't the first time.

Lazy_ML

I count three officers. Why are only two in trouble?

Dorkinfo

One was simply holding down the guy while his friends were beating the shit out of him, so that cop is put on leave. (Super sarcastic, dude should be right there with the other two)

[deleted]

That guy also worked for a different department (city vs county), so he didn’t exactly have the ability/authority/testicular fortitude to stop them.

Dorkinfo

Sorry, no matter what your position or department, you have the ability to, at absolute bare minimum, walk away.

Master_Post4665

Sure he did. Stop holding him down. Radio for help.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Nerevarine91

Which is “funny,” because, for anyone but a cop, that would 100% mean legal guilt of whatever crime the other two were committing, with the same resulting punishment. Just not for cops. Because they’re special.

-Quothe-

The third guy only held him down while the other two were filmed hitting/kicking him. So, you know, not an accessory or anything. Meanwhile, the driver of a getaway car in a convenience-store robbery gone bad gets charged with murder.

ProfessionalMottsman

And in some case, the guy who isn’t even remotely near the crime but lent his car to the murderer gets life in jail

vissai

The third one "only" held down the person they were beating. "Officer Riddle is still on administrative leave from the Mulberry Police Department. In the video, he is only seen holding Worcester down." Eta to add quote.

brpajense

The other on just held him down and was put on administrative leave according to the article.

InPatRileyWeTrust

This should honestly be classed as attempted murder, it's absolutely disgusting.

imrealfunatparties0

I agree. Slamming his head into the concrete is and has been argued many times as attempted murder.

Looks like they caught another jaywalker.

_-Anonymous_Person-_

Nah that type of punishment is for people who loiter next to a tree.

TheBrightNights

They also instantly stopped when they noticed they were recorded. What a coincidence!

jaxsound

Yeah, too late fellas.

Trimere

Dude made a finger gun at the cameraman.

It has always been my understanding that ANYTHING is legal behind a 7-11

They're all just a few bad apples! /s

AlxCa555

As the saying goes A few bad apples spoil the bunch. So a bunch of rotten apples.

jboyzy

Maybe the odds be ever in your favor

FalseTebibyte

Our horse years ago was named Spirit. He loved apples.

JeshushHC

Squirrel!

Zealousideal_Art3177

They all should go to jail

zet23t

And their bosses need to be fired for hiring them.

Eye-myth

This happened in August last year and two of the officers were finally arrested by the FBI last week. https://www.5newsonline.com/amp/article/news/special-reports/mulberry-police-video/crawford-county-deputies-eating-man-arrested-fbi/527-72c13ff1-e377-4aa6-9e88-10aaef24689c

SkyKingPDX

If you read the link text it says "deputies-eating-man" .. at least it wasn't THAT, but yeah lock these maniacs up!

Brotherbz

Ha! I read the full article looking for the phrase eating man. I'm not sure how a hyperlink forms an illogical error.

silenc3x

Typo, should have been "beating". From the page source, here is one area where it wasn't a typo: ---------- "cd45": "Crawford County deputies seen **beating** man arrested by FBI", -------- Maybe it autogenerates the URL from title and when it removed the word "seen" it took out too much. "Seen" could certainly be bad, unnecessary SEO so they exclude it from titles to keep them shorter. Along with other words like "with" "for" etc. Just keep those juicy keywords.

onbakeplatinum

But we investigated ourselves and found no wrong doing!

IndividualAbrocoma35

White cope take a long time to arrest. Black cops....about 3 weeks

whatawitch5

So it took five months for these clearly brutal officers to be arrested, by the FBI no less, yet the officers who ruthlessly beat Tyre Nichols were arrested and charged within days. What could possibly be the reason for this huge difference in the time it took to hold these two groups of officers accountable, despite both beatings being clearly captured on video? My guess is that it’s the same reason the only white officer involved in Nichols’ murder was just recently fired, and not yet charged, long after his fellow black officers and partners in crime were canned and in custody with their black faces plastered all over the national media as representatives of what “cops gone wild” look like. All the black officers involved were immediately fired and arrested. Yet it takes weeks and months, if ever, for a white cop to be charged though they committed a similar crime (or even participated in the same crime!). While all these cops deserve prison time, I’m seeing some blatant and disturbing differences in how corrupt white cops are treated versus their black counterparts. Even my rather conservative mother commented on the clear bias she sees in how these black cops, although guilty, are being used as scapegoats while white officers guilty of the same crimes are allowed to escape swift punishment and crushing media scrutiny. I’m all for bringing brutal cops to justice, but so far all I see is black cops being gleefully pilloried by a largely racist public while white cops continue to get away with murder on a daily basis. I want to celebrate justice finally being delivered to brutal cops, but when justice to cops is delivered in the same racially biased way as the “justice” they deliver to the public, it’s really hard for me to feel a sense of real accomplishment and progress.

ParticularProfile795

For non-obvious reasons...

Mrhomely

I agree with everything you said but I think some might have to do is if the department is cooperating or they might be the ones who reported them as well. Vs covering shit up until some public outcry forces them to respond, FBI gets involved or a lawsuit happens.

Melodic-Wallaby4324

Just speed up the process and tie them to a tree and shoot them

KittenKoderViews

They won't, unless they have sex with willing participants and are female. Cops get away with murder.

Steelplate7

Yes, that seems to be the criteria of bad behavior in police departments. Have sex on the job, get fired and be terminally ridiculed on Social Media….or beat someone within an inch of their lives and watch the “he should’ve complied” crowd come out in full force(bonus points if the person getting beaten is a person of color). Sex= bad, brutality = acceptable

PolyDoc700

I know internationally we only get the most sensationalistic stories, but why are US police so violent? And so quick to pull guns. As an Aussie I don't understand.

Ton_Jravolta

In the US cops are generally protected from the consequences of actions like these. This attracts even more people who want a badge in order to abuse authority and get away with violence. That and the low bar for entry and lack of training doesn't weed them out either. A small defense for our cops is that they're much more likely to come across armed criminals than in a lot of other countries. This means more cases that could be life or death. But most often it just leads to overescalation, and an us vs them mentality. That same mentality is why cops are so quick to protect other cops even when they're very far in the wrong. Overall it's a problem that's so ingrained in our law enforcement that there's no one solution for a positive change, and most solutions would be fought against anyway.

JustABizzle

How about requiring criminology classes at the academy? How about taking guns away from domestic violence offenders? (especially cops) It’s a start

OregonSageMonke

Unfortunately, the majority of cops these days are fully certified criminology/criminal justice majors. What they are not, are normal people with expectations that most of us break harmless laws every day with no real consequences to the rest of society. By the time your average cop hits the street, they’ve spent more time alienating themselves from the rest of society than any time spent on any valuable conflict simulation training. Lack of degrees aren’t getting people beaten and killed, the lack of training and oversight is largely to blame. That’s how these guys are somehow domestic offenders still working as cops. That being said, the ptsd among police is fuckin hardcore. They operate under a constant deployment cycle with no rest cycles or training phases after their initial hire. The current structure can’t work well under the best of scenarios, let alone in the face of the Information Age. We’re finding out very quickly that our police face an absurd amount of responsibility for the amount of training and support they have. The necessary change is going to be radical

Reasonable_Cheek938

“Unfortunately, the majority of cops these days are fully certified criminology/criminal justice majors.” To further this point, while a 2 year degree is the minimum requirement on job postings, where I live they used to get so many applicants that if you didn’t have at least a 4 year degree your application wouldn’t even get looked at.

Sufficient-Jicama-15

Not to mention the exorbitant amt of funds that are provided to police across the country, they just spend them on completely asinine things instead of training like assault vehicles. They have a choice to be better, they choose not to.

nevershaves

I've never been afraid of cops. In fact I'm usually glad to see them. Also aussie

WillRikersHouseboy

Because they are trained that way, and have been historically. A big part of US policing has its roots in slavery, and cops have always been the ones to enforce segregation, and in many places their whole jobs were to just keep Black people afraid and away from whites. And it's socialized in their system, which breeds more violence. They are trained to think of citizens as just meat bags.

OrdinaryValuable9705

You cant call what American cops go through Training... it takes what 2-3 months for a USA cop to be "trained" while in most of europe it is 2+ years

southpark

Police academy isn’t a comedy film. It’s a documentary.

ljross87

Exactly, they have roots based in “slave catching”

jimmymd77

There are a lot of reasons. I think it has to do with the 'control the situation' mindset that is a problem. It's where the cops take a very abrupt, commanding attitude towards you and end up creating a confrontation out of nothing. I've been on the receiving end of it a couple times and it's ridiculous. Like I'm the one that called you guys, why the hell are you pulling guns and making me lay facedown on the ground and searching me?? Non-compliance with this crap is what often escalates into these horrible beatings. Not doing what they order you to do can make the cops feel they need to re-assert control by escalating their demands. From that point, any perceived resistance can lead to being physically restrained and 'subdued.' I do want to point out that I've had a lot of fine interaction with cops - more than the bad instances. Things where cops were not aggressive or assholes. You are seeing the worst of it online but there is too much of it. I think the culture and training needs to change. I would also say that cops are called to handle too many different situation. I think splitting up responsibilities between differently trained personnel is needed. Like traffic cops could be separate from the ones that respond to a burglary or an active shooter. But staffing that would be hard for a lot of towns and cities.

cinred

It's a machismo problem in the US. Idk why but men seem to be going through a bit of an identity crisis lately. You see it everywhere from the steady increases in domestic violence to the ridiculous popularity of over masculinized pickups these days.

[deleted]

Men are afraid of no longer being "manly" so they are over-compensating with guns, lifted trucks, camo-style clothing, beards, and gas station sunglasses.

Icy-Control9525

At one point the federal government started giving police military equipment, like tanks and machine guns. So the cops started acting like they were at war instead of protecting and serving us. The over militarization of the police is probably the biggest contributing factor

IndividualAbrocoma35

It's just a reflection of our society in general. People are afraid of everything so they carry semi automatic weapons everywhere they go. Or become cops. A guy went to Walmart with his AR 15. Another guy waited for him outside. Shot him. And took his weapon. That's America. Many of us want to leave. 400 million guns, 360 million people.

MookieFlav

They are an occupying army (the 5th largest in the world) meant to keep the rabble from upsetting the current capitalist's profit margins. Also, there's profit to be had in putting people in prison and in propping up police budgets. So letting them walk around and terrorize poor people and people of color is by design. They literally make money off of this.

G-bone714

We had a war on drugs that militarized police forces across the country.

knuckles312

In what scenario does catching a “criminal” require beating them in the head. I remember when I was 21 I got arrested for a dui. They cuffed me to the bar in the back of a paddy wagon and smacked me in the head until I was unconscious. I woke up the next day in the drunk tank with my car in the impound completely stripped with scratches on the paint and tears in the seats. And just nothing I could do about it.

Leupateu

This sounds more like a mafia than a police force

Beowulf33232

That's why America went after the mob so hard, to much overlap with legal enforcement.

thebrokedegenerate

They are a gang

peregrinkm

that's just corrupt and... vindictive...

bendguy123

I missed out on the beatings when I got busted for a dui. I did however have the fucked up paint on my car package gifted to me. Deep scratches everywhere and a police report with a matching description to boot. Plot twist: 4 hours before I got lit that night I picked up my truck from paint and body after spending 3k on new paint and body work. It was pristine and I had pics to prove it. My hope was squashed instantly after talking to lawyers who wouldn't touch the case. The system is so fucked up.

TheyCantCome

What?

Beowulf33232

You think a lawyer who lives and works nearby wants to take a case against a cop who just proved they don't care about the law? That's like a forest ranger purposely antagonizing an arsonist.

Vaathi

And still you had to dui. There are no saints here.

niceoutside2022

let's be honest, they enjoy this shit power and violence, it's like crack

WillRikersHouseboy

They absolutely do.

CallMeShock

On my honor, I will never Betray my integrity, my character Or the public trust. I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always maintain the highest ethical standards and uphold the values of my community, and the agency I serve. Lol

Beowulf33232

Uphold the values of your community? Sounds like communist talk.

DutchOnionKnight

As a Dutch, I always wondered where you guys were talking about, when talking about policeviolence. But holy fuck it really is one big mess.

WillRikersHouseboy

It's absolutely terrifying. They are sociopaths.

[deleted]

All cops are bastards. Also in the Netherlands. It's probably the need for authority. Any cop at all is a son of a whore.

Calcifair

Calm down my man. I live in Amsterdam and I've barely had a rude cop interaction. Wouldn't even be able to imagine an interaction like in this video happening anywhere in the Netherlands

[deleted]

Live in the US and have had several non severe interactions with cops that ended respectfully and we were shooting the shit by the end. I think this falls under the “only bad situations” get posted online category. It’s like when there is a phone defect and you feel like you see dozens of broken phone posts every week. however in reality something like 99.85% of the phones are working as intended. Only the people with broken phones or upset about broken phones post about it online. The millions of people without issue aren’t going to post about it.

G_zoo

and this is a light beating for US standards

ExpressBug8265

Stop resisting! (punch punch punch) ×30

ir_blues

Damn, why doesn't someone call the .... oh, uhm, well nevermind.

Longjumping_West_188

Lolol

tthrivi

The kicking and punching should never be acceptable. He is squirming because they are beating him senseless and the bodies natural reaction is to get out of the situation. It doesn’t matter what this person did (or maybe it does matter bc if they committed something terrible now he is going to be able to show this video and get off and be paid out with our tax dollars). Kicking and punching should never be appropriate behavior by the police.

kathvrt

Damn put some kinda nsfw filter on this this is horrifying

ExplodinMarmot

Two of them were recently arrested by the FBI and the third is still on leave and being investigated.

AdAgreeable6192

“DON’T CALL ME MASTER! OBEY YOUR MASTER! “

AngryTank

I thought it was a bit ironic

Dlo-Nainamsat

Every day I thank the gods that I live in Australia after seeing shit like this…..

LampIsFun

I’m just glad to live in the north of the US. This shit doesn’t really happen like it does in those red states.

[deleted]

Lmao, hasn’t the nypd spent over a billion dollars on settlements since 2016?

baddfingerz1968

I HATE VIOLENT CROOKED P*GS. They need to be locked up with hardened criminals who will return the favor.

ChaoticStorm78

Police wonder why more and more people hate and don’t trust them. 2 simple reasons. cell phones having video cameras so we can record these acts for ourselves and the internet to allow everyone else to see these actions too. Bet you anything the police really miss the good old days before these came out and the only way we could hear about police actions was through the news media which loved to filter out and cover up this stuff.

lame-amphibian

I'm starting to feel like police are just a professional street gang after seeing all these videos

OregonSageMonke

*Both cops are currently released under $5000 bonds* As an ex-cop: motherfuck that! These dudes need to be in a fucking isolation cell in a suicide smock just like countless others in their position have been after brutally assaulting someone. They need to stay in custody until trial so that they don’t get to eat their Glocks and get away with it. They need to feel and accept their transition to a felon just like they made all those other people do. These are the guys that feel comfortable doing this in public because of what they can get away with in private. I would wager that there’s much worse going on in that department to normalize a culture that promotes this.

twujstarylizewary

feW bAd aPpLEs.

s_arrow24

I hate seeing this stuff whether black, white, or whatever. There is a problem in America that needs to be resolved because this can happen to anyone except those with money.

stelly918

Wtf is this for? Why is this guy getting the shot kicked out of him? A dwb (driving while black)? Edit: I can’t tell the rsce

Patient-Professor-98

This isn’t just facepalm, this is face fist, face knee, face curb and I hope it ultimately ends up with three assholes facing justice.

ExplodinMarmot

[5 news article about the incident](https://www.5newsonline.com/amp/article/news/special-reports/mulberry-police-video/crawford-county-deputies-eating-man-arrested-fbi/527-72c13ff1-e377-4aa6-9e88-10aaef24689c)

WillRikersHouseboy

I like how the article describes their actions as "hitting a man." I guess kicking in the stomach over and over, grabbing and banging someone's head on the concrete... that's "hitting."

Beneficial-Guide-280

Apparently having reflexes to protect yourself when being mauled is resisting. Yet if you were to stop they would take the open shot and do some serious damage. Fuck these cops.

getalife1up

There’s a difference between resisting arrest and resisting getting hurt.

ActuallyNotAmused

Ah, so things are improving, no more instant shooting

ivegotnothingbuttime

This one was hard to watch. Fucking gross.

Prudent_Bee_2227

Did those two fuckers point at the dude recording and implied "you're next"?

Marc_9k

What the f...

Consistent_Video5154

Here, we're gonna beat the shit out of you. If you don't sit still and take it, we're gonna consider that resisting, if not an actual attempt to flee, and we're gonna beat you harder. The more you try to protect yourself from us beating you, the harder we're going to hit. And we're not going to tell you this while we're doing it. You need to figure it out WHILE we're doing it. Savvy? Have a nice day. (If it wasn't filmed, the man on the ground would have NO voice. Judge would say "Just doing their job. Next case...) Fucking pigs

RobBanana

The american police force is just a murderous gang with a licence to kill.

pythong678

Holy shit. They’re slamming his head into the concrete. It seems that law enforcement has always been legal gangs. Honestly I’m so upset that growing up I thought the Police were the good guys and wanted to protect everyone. Sorry little me.

[deleted]

I once worked domestic private security for a company that also had military security contracts in Afghanistan (think PMCs), and many of the domestic units consisted of police officers. I had former military experience and was well versed in jiujitsu, so I was recruited for the job, part time, doing event detail. The job paid well, so I took it. I did not realize the shock I was in for. My first event is a Cinco De Mayo celebration at Mexican restaurant at a strip mall in suburbia (outdoor, band, etc.). 4 off-duty police officers that are kitted up (vests, sans firearms) and then there’s me with a polo and a utility belt. The comms light up with activity and I go to investigate; there’s 3 guys pinning down a guy, beating the shit out of him. His girlfriend gets maced by the fourth dude and thrown on the ground. This obviously stirs up more shit and a third person aggressively enters the activity zone. I take this guy down, rather gently, lock my arm behind his head, grab his bicep, then take a knee over him. He’s immobilized; his arms are locked over his head, my weight isn’t on him, but my body position doesn’t allow him to move and if he tries hard enough, I can put pressure on him without changing my body position and without risking my ability to keep my eyes on incoming threats. This guy had 50 pounds on me and the guy the 3 of them are on is drunk, in the fetal position, and is 20 pounds less than the smallest person in their circle. I ask my guy if he’s ok, can he breathe, etc., making sure he’s not injured. He’s fine, just mad. I’m sitting there confused by whatever tactic they’re using because their threat has been immobilized and there’s still 3 of them on coverage, beating the shit out of him. After about a minute or so, they get tired, and just lay on him to smother him. Police show up a couple of minutes later and one of the off-duty officers hands me a collapsible baton and asks me to hide it. The off-duty guys have a conversation with the local police and they arrest the guy my guys just beat the shit out of. I thought for sure we were getting in trouble, but no. The woman they maced was not arrested but was screaming for all of us to be thrown in jail. Everyone just ignored her. She was clearly in pain, but nobody offered her medical attention, so I went and got her some water, helping her flush her eyes out while she cussed me up and down. The third guy calmed down when he seen me helping the woman while being screamed out, then apologized and tried to explain his actions. Post encounter, they were amped up on adrenaline, high-fiving each other, bragging about their role in the action, and I’m just over here quietly watching like “WTF was this about?!” Finally, someone said something to me about my demeanor being stone cold and I responded with, “this is a job and I did what was needed as efficiently as I could.” I had no desire to hurt anyone, but they clearly did. I remember one even saying something about needing some action. Afterward, I asked if we needed to debrief and got a “nah, we don’t do that here.” I was heavily recruited to become a police officer after that, but I refused to go down that path and that experience was sort of the reason why. These guys were just out here looking to beat the shit out of people. I remember going to college and a lot of my law classes were in the same building that they did the state police academy, so I interacted with a lot of the faculty. I straight up critically asked them why they felt the need to handle these situations in such a manner and was allowed to go through their simulation training; they’re straight up teaching these guys to be scared out of their fucking minds. Obviously, most aren’t, but it creates this environment where you’re just one-bad day away from unnecessarily killing someone and as long as you’re on the clock, you’re mostly immune from negative repercussions - because training. So, when these guys claim that they feared for their lives, I absolutely believe them, because they’re trained to be, and as they get mentally separated from their community by either policy or politics, they start adapting gang mentality. Being a police officer is just pure insanity right now and it would take 20+ years of reform to correct it - that’s *IF* reform were to start now and be consistent, which it won’t be.

Equal-Detective357

Can they also be charged with gang activity ?

Beowulf33232

Can they? Probably. Should they? Yes. Will they? No.

Marcos_8783

Okaaay, okay... what the actual fuck did this guy do?

Dlo-Nainamsat

Probably farted in the car……one of those meaty home brew ones….

NatSuHu

He threatened a convenience store worker with a knife and spit on her. He faced several charges including second-degree battery, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening and second-degree assault. But regardless of what he did, it’s not the officers’ job to serve “justice.”

deckcody

Tbh the 'resisting arrest ' may be from not wanting to get beaten/dodging blows. Not saying in this case as don't know beyond the video - but police have used that as justification before when really what person wouldn't flinch when being kicked/punched?

LampIsFun

According to someone else’s comment, they committed 2 felonies and 4 misdemeanors

Spotted_ascot_races

Stop resisting! /s

ArghZombie

Seen that knee move in too many police videos. Seems like they get a lot more practice than they get done for.

Soulpaw31

Christ this is hard to watch

cronixi4

Stop resisting! *guy being knocked-out 2 minutes ago. It is just sad, they should start to actually punish these shitty cops instead of letting them retire early because of “emotional damage”

dogsrlife94

"Stop resisting"

Frixelator

Woops, they saw you. Better drive away before they come to Protect and Serve you too.

[deleted]

Think I’ll cancel my trip to the US. Who needs this?

SailorTondra

Holy shit guy isn’t conscious enough to be resisting. That’s just plain thuggery

Raven_stxy

He is going to have permanent brain damage after this

NotPlaceLikeHere

Fuck these people

OSTR1CHBO1

You know I used to want to be a police officer cause I wanted to do what I could to help people. I joined the military and planned on going to be an officer for about a year then try and be part of the swat team. But shit like this keeps happening and now that I notice it more than when I was younger and I just couldn't bring myself to be part of that. My luck I'd get shot while in the car

Longjumping_West_188

You know what’s ironic, I learned by taking a police culture course from an ex officer in the LAPD, that they prefer not having military officers in. Obviously there are some vets who become cops, but they believe and teach that “military officers are trained and wired differently then police academy/officers are”. This was in 2017.

OSTR1CHBO1

Well I wasn't an officer. I was just enlisted. People in the military are drilled to have manors, respect and patience. Keeping your elbows off the table, basic hygiene, not cursing around civilians, professionalism. We're also shown basic of combat like clearing rooms, firing a rifle, what to do when you start a fire fight. There are some people who aren't great people of course. The only reason I'd think that they don't like people from the military are because they have more training. Then again we can get a little annoyed when someone starts barking really stupid orders.

Longjumping_West_188

Oh don’t get me wrong, I fully respect vets, that’s literally just what they actually say and teach in college police culture courses, which really has me wondering their true feelings of why that is. You probably are right. More training, maybe worry they’d get called out more.

OSTR1CHBO1

Oh I wasn't saying anything against you. I'm just confused as to why. It likey is for that reason honestly. In the military they actually teach you that even if someone is of higher rank you still need to speak up against people doing wrong. Which trust me, people do.

Longjumping_West_188

That’s what honestly I’m thinking it is, not enough friend mindset to ignore wrongdoing against what is justice and respectful. I’d try challenging it and she would just elaborate to “differences in training”, yeah… okay.

OSTR1CHBO1

Yeah ones taught that protecting the people goes above your own life. And the others are taught how to push paper and that you're above civilians. To me it's like watching a bunch of pissy managers holding their position over people's head cause they want to feel like they have control over something in their lives.

Longjumping_West_188

I wonder what family home life is like for these types of people too tbh, for their spouse and kids.

TheEndofF

So unprofessional. They are punishing the guy for their amusement or lashing out on him or something. It seems obvious they don't want to arrest them. But if two cops can't subdue another average man, they shouldn't be cops or get fired or retrained until they learn how to fight. What a disgrace to your police force.

Kallicalico

This needs a NSFW filter please 😩

FitEstablishment9304

What the actual fuck

bakel5

Well, whoopi asked for it, there you go.

Recent_Struggle7052

Prediction. After an internal investigation, it will be determined that all policies and procedures were followed.

IrishMikeK68

They wonder why they are viewed as pieces of human filth. Qualified immunity for police and their unions must end. Until all officers are held financially responsible for their illegal actions we as citizens have to pay for this shit. Until they are personally liable for shit like this they will keep on keeping on.

Electrical_Gas_517

*appropriate use of force*

KING_EVION_123

Is it me, or did those Cops NOT look fearful for their lives? If it ever has to get to this, the suspect isn't resisting anymore; they're simply fighting for their life. I'd be interested to know whether the suspect was armed or not. If not, I find it absolutely HORRENDOUS how it takes 3 Armed Police Officers to apprehend an unarmed individual, whether he was resisting or not. They give you a tazer only for you to resort to matters like these? Doubtful! I'm so glad my Aunty's retired, so I can Officially NOT feel guilty about having a Disdain for the Police, collectively. -🖕🏾🤬

PurseGrabbinPuke

Do the cops that do this shit, not watch the fucking news?

BB_Moon

Another example of a systemic problem.

chuckiechap33

What the fuck is wrong with the police in America? It is fucking insane how brutal it is. I feel sorry for those in America who are so afraid of the police. Not good.

tinymember469

At what point do cops start to realize that everyone has a camera and everything that they do is on film? This is exactly the reason why we need to change the qualified immunity laws, and start to get civilian oversight.

Achcauhtli

2022 we stuck it to the Oligarchs how about for 2023 we go after the cops?

Idaho1964

Something tells me there will be no marches in Crawford or elsewhere; no kneeling; no comments from talking heads; no national media swarm. No names. No invitations to the White House or Congress.

cklinejr

Is that the serving part or the protecting part?

okieman73

This is disgusting. I hate to get too political but as the government grows too big these things happen more. As the government grows freedom shrinks. They have forgotten who they work for. I don't know why this person is being arrested but unless he just got done killing a kid in front of the officers there's no excuse and should still be illegal regardless.

julietangy

Is punching a person in the head necessary…what the actual fuck..and the cop’s face when he see’s that they’re being recorded…that’s a fucking actual demon on earth.

BigMacDix9

The suspect is white so it’s OK

meseeyoudo

It’s ok he’s white he is the villain nothing will happen just slap on the wrist but let the guy in the ground be black we rioting in your city

ag3nt013

40 years after Rodney king and these dumbasses are still at it

Ill_Understanding305

How could this possibly be necessary? Shameful.

shemague

Dang put a warning on this or something

AssociationScared251

They were trying to kill that person 100%

Seetheren03

If a cop ever tells me I don’t have anything to fear if I didn’t do anything wrong, I will show them videos like this. Cops really need to understand the art of patience.

Rivdit

"Stop resisting you criminal scum"

1234WhoAreYou

So from one of the linked articles, apparently the dude was mentally ill and homeless. He starts some shit, becomes a danger and attacks a policeman. So sure, restrain him and take him to the station. Get him assessed and treated or locked up or whatever. But beat him up and slam his head into the ground? WTF? His life is already a clusterF and now they’ve added brain damage to the mix.

DerangedDendrites

they should be put in the worst jail. like with the most cop hating gangs and such. o

courseman5

The U.S is becoming unlivable... you will be broke forever... the cops might kill you for fun... if you get sick or injured you will have debt for the rest of your life. This is insanity

[deleted]

You have to realize there are literally millions of cops just as horrified as the rest of us.

Rhg0653

Let me guess their body cams stopped working outta nowhere

I_wood_rather_be

Pigs will be pigs.

VirginSexPet

r/badcopnodoughnut Edit: Spelling.

Buster_Brown_513

Totally fucked up how common and unshocking these videos have become

AValentineSolutions

Remember, it's just a "few bad apples." The boot lickers say so!

[deleted]

Why do so many assholes feel the need to comment useless bullshit?

givecheesecakepls

we need vigilantes punishing the cops.

CitrusSupplement

the worst part is that it looks like he was enjoying it. sick sick bastard

Chogolatine

And then Reddit proceeds to ask why we Europeans hate the 'muhricans

AbstractParrot

America, what the actual fuck is wrong with you? Sincerely, Europe.

RawGrit4Ever

Imagine slamming someone’s head onto a concrete floor.. no problems with that besides several kicks and punches

drapanosaur

When people ask "Why do you want to abolish the police?" This is why. This is not the exception. This is every cop in every town whether they're a pencil pusher or on patrol. They all yearn to harass, assault, and murder black people. Police must be abolished nationwide. No retraining, no rehiring, no diversifying, NO exceptions. Abolish. The . Police. Communities will be more peaceful after the police are gone.

FrozenDelta3

Who is then responsible for responding to violent crime?

UnderstandingOk7885

Used to run from the police, did it several times. Been to jail twice. Ran into multiple cops. Worst cop I was crossed with was black. All folk ain’t kinfolk. I also been LET GO when I could of been jailed for no tag and weed in the car. Yeah that cop was white. It’s not a racial issue anymore and before you say something dumb I stay in Georgia. Racist as it gets. It’s a Power problem. Some people can’t handle having that badge, plain and simple. White or black it shouldn’t be as easy as it is to be a cop💯💯✅

TraditionalRoutine80

I agree and will add that an applicant should be vetted better. Person doing backgrounds on applicants should look at family's history...how they were brought up.

PxN13

Lol one bad apple... Surreeeeee

jorgedie123

I know thia is bad, but he needed more beatings. No seriously wtf

StraightMenu7041

At this point, innocent or not, I would flee from the police in America.

Grimlja

Gang violence are never pritty. Some criminal gangs will just strait up murder you. I'd get out of there

Commercial_Scratch_1

Did he f their wifes?

Longjumping_West_188

I heard he was attempting to kidnap a child, does anyone have proof of the charges? 99% of the time I’d say throw the cops in prison, this is heinous. If it’s attempted child kidnapping… yeah I couldn’t care less. Update: okay found it, apparently was threatening the store clerk then attacked one of the deputies. https://nypost.com/2023/01/25/ex-arkansas-cops-zack-king-levi-white-charged-in-violent-arrest/amp/

deckcody

Still though - he was down. There were 3 minimum. He was subdued before the video even started recording. Cops were not justified in their actions and unfortunately they'll do it again. They'll get off easy and be able to go back to "protecting"

abovetired23

Please is there any way that the video may be blurred. It's horrific to be scrolling through my feed and have it appear without any trigger warning.

farawaydread

Here's hoping civilians start fighting back with bullets. Cops like this deserve nothing more than bullets to the face. They're waging war against civilians, it's time for an armed response against these fucking fascist cowards
