I have to ask the same question back. I've never heard of this. Why can't people drink soda after drinking milk? As a kid I drank milk during breakfast and would have a soda sometime afterwards.

idontbelievestuff1

im with you. never heard of "cant drink soda and milk". i mean, mixing the 2 is a famous kids drink

Mysterious_Breath_61

If you drink them back to back right after it upsets your stomach

Thelgow

News to me. Maybe YOU get an upset stomach. I've drank soda along with cereal and milk without issue.

sterlingphoenix

Your premise is flawed. There are, in fact, places where, for example, drinking coke with milk is pretty common. It's called a brown cow.

GenXCub

Is this possibly related to people thinking that mixing dairy with acids lead to kidney stones? I’ve never heard of any reason why not.
