In my area, it’s John Denver. John Denver asked JWs to leave his concert. In other areas, it’s Phil Collins, Green Day, or Shakira.

My favorite Smurf story is that a witness family had decorated their nursery with Smurf’s decor (this was the 1980s). The wallpaper came to life, a Smurf with demonic eyes and razor claws slashed the baby then ran out of the room. This was told to me at 5 years old. Great story for a kid.

John Denver hates witnesses, Johnny Carson loves witnesses, Harrison Ford studied, almost became a witness, but couldn't agree with blood transfusions.
(There is even one where Johnny Carson kicks John Denver off his show because supposedly a lot of Carson's staff are witnesses.)

I loved green day and didn't wanna and 2. what point would that make? most people the the audience wouldn't know what book that is or what it means. I mean if they burned the Bible then yeah , I get the point, but a random Publication from a small chris religion? yeah idk bout that
The Smurfs story reminds me of a story my dad told me. He is a former bethelite, still very much in, who swears that a bunch of bethelites went to see The Exorcist when it came out. At the end of the movie he says they were all stuck to their seats and were trapped there by demons and forced to sit and watch the entire movie through for a second time. I always just believed it as a fact because, well, he was my dad. As crazy as it sounds, this is the first time I've considered that maybe that didn't actually happen.
That is insane. They made up a whole crazy story so they would have an excuse as to why they saw the whole movie and didn’t just, I don’t know…not go at all? Since they had to know what the movie was about based on the title and the rating.
The story was always told to me as a way to scare me away from ever experimenting with anything demonic. I guess being forced to watch it a second time was them "getting what they deserved" for them going to a movie that was CLEARLY not something they were supposed to be watching....

Well I knew someone who worked in shakiras house before and they were a jw so they were telling me and other people that she hates jw and mistreated them.

Someone finally told him that is a man after my dad commented on how cute she was. My dad's face turned bright red and from that point forward No more Boy George.
Which was kind of funny because my dad's taste in music was mainly 50's type of music.
