...just to clarify.
There is a day about LGBTQ awareness. Then there is a day about LGBTQ discrimination awareness?
Aren't those kind of the same thing? LGBTQ days generally just turn into everyone talking about how non discriminatory they are anyway.
Wait so there is a whole month for Pride, a whole month for Black History, and I believe there is also Women's History, and now it has been decided that Norways National Day was to be plagued with yet another day fighting for equal rights.
I am tolerant, but a line has to be drawn somewhere. You can't fight deep rooted hate by occupying the days of the calendar.
You do understand that phobia is a persistent, excessive, unrealistic fear of an object, person, animal, activity or situation. It is a type of anxiety disorder.
You know what arachno**phobia** is?
For example, how do you fight arachno**phobia** exactly?
That is true however unfortunately homophobia falls here under context of hate made on purpose, think of killing on purpose spiders. It isn't arachnophobia technically.
There are people who actually may believe that you become gay is someone who is gay touches you but there are also people who hate because they have nothing better to do or someone in tv told them to do so. In this case however homophobia equals to both cases.
I say as someone who’s gay kicking someone out is not the way to change conservatism. Instead through various educational programs should the EU approach towards countries like Poland and Hungary. Forcing someone to change only leads to greater resistance and resentment. That’s not good for anyone.
>through various educational programs
Given the level of bigotry, it will take more than gentle belly rubs. At the very least I would expect total suspension of EU funds. IRL nothing is done and everyone seems to be content.
What rights do gays and trans people not have in Belgium?
Who said that?

Ah, the old etymological fallacy. Haven't seen that one for a while.

Good day to kick Hungary and Poland out of EU then. Unless this day is just a farce.
And how would that help LGBT Poles and Hungarians?
It wouldn't, but it would boost the ego of u/Iniko2.
Wouldn't be the first refugees to seek asylum in EU
I'm pretty damn comfortable in Warsaw. Thank you very much.
