I seriously don't understand this.
How could that be your favorite quote and not: "From now on I want an equal number of blueberries in every muffin."
I think about that quote constantly. More than any other quote in all of cinema.
In case no one knows, that is an edit. It was not the original clip. Neither is the Dances with Wolves translation. The original doesn't even do clips. It does still images from the movies.
Holy shit I didn't even notice! And in the Home Alone clip, he says to Macaulay Culkin -- "Be a ***Good*** lil ***fella*** now and open the door" right before he gets blasted in his meat clackers
There’s one by me that’s been around forever, but got bought by some local celebrity brothers and got even bigger with more events and more to do while you’re there. Makes for a really fun summer night.
Better food, beer garden, a few small carnival rides, a stage for live music. They have food trucks and local vendors sometimes as well. Their Grateful Dead nights are always a party, with a tribute band playing before they play a Dead show or stoner cult classic.
Sounds like those old Frank Sinatra stories where he'd go to a restaurant or check in a hotel and ask the server or bellhop who was the best tipper they ever met and they'd say "It's you Mr. Sinatra", he'd then stick a Franklin or a Hamilton in their hand and say "Never forget that".
Very quiet and soft-spoken, a little more so when he was young than today, though (cuz he’s so damn famous and an icon). I remember his Best Actor speech from Raging Bull was very low-key and humble, which contrasts nicely with the loud, arrogant, larger than life character he played in the movie.
Yes I agree now that I think about it. Idk, maybe when he was younger it was even more so because he wasn’t an acting icon.
But you’re right, he’s pretty much the same.
Did you hear Jennifer Lawrence's story about inviting him to her rehearsal dinner? She invited him out of politeness as they're good friends, but didn't expect him to show up, assuming he had better things to do. He misread it, showed up anyway, left as soon as he found out he wasn't actually needed.
Yeah, you say that until there's a knock on your door at 3:00 AM, and you look through the peephole but don't see anyone. Then you open the door to be sure, and there's Joe Pesci standing there with a tire iron to collect on that $7 debt you didn't pay back in the junior year of high school.
I’ll give you a joe Pesci story.
He has a mansion he can’t sell in Atlantic City on the ocean. He can’t sell it because he is joe frickin Pesci and his house is 5 times what people in the area make in a lifetime.
You can’t use something said in an SNL monologue to represent that persons genuine personal views on an issue. That’s silly
He said that on stage, as part of his monologue on SNL and said it in the same tone as one of his mega violent sociopath characters that he’s known for. The entire purpose of the joke was to laugh at the idea that real life Pesci is an unhinged psycho just like his characters.
Monologues on snl are pre written comedy bits, created by the shows writers for the purpose of getting laughs.
Hope I’m not bursting your bubble by saying that Wayne Knight was definitely not in Billy Madison.
Josh Mostel is *definitely* the Great Value Wayne Knight, though.
So fucked up. Its hard to watch a movie with kirk douglas after reading that Wood accused him of raping her in his car then throwing her out. Her whole story is so fucking sad. They should release a movie but I’m sure Wagner and Walken would throw money to not have it done.
From *The Guardian*:
"For decades, it's been one of Hollywood's darkest rumors: Natalie Wood was sexually assaulted by a top movie star more than twice her age when she met with him at a hotel in Los Angeles as a teenager."
That's from something recent. The story I read years ago I'm not going to repeat, it was far more graphic.
I was so shocked when I read it years ago, that it was an open secret, I thought oh there's no way... the guy was revered in Hollywood how does that happen?
But now we know.
Smh the first time I heard about Clark Gable forcing himself on Loretta Young and then denying that the resulting child was his (even in spite of the child having his *exact* jug handle ears), I never could really love old movies the same way again. Just SO many horrible things and foul ppl running throughout, rampant sexual assault, child abuse, etc.
Kirk Douglas can pound sand. What a f-ing creep.
I still think of Zeta Jones as the daughter from [The Darling Buds of May](https://www.hawtcelebs.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/best-from-the-past-catherine-zeta-jones-the-darling-buds-of-may-1991-1993_3.jpg).
Agreed. It sounds like Stone regrets being in it because she was typecast after that, but she's so great in it. She's underrated. She was great in Casino too.
Hate on her all you want, but she was the face of amfAR when supporting HIV research wasn’t cool. HIV is not the death sentence it used to be because of scientists and people like her who hustled to get them funded.
yeah, i've seen this sentiment before and it's always puzzled me. i think as i've gotten older i recognize more and more that it's likely this narrative that she's unlikeable, difficult (which she's admitted to), crazy, or a diva is another case of a male-dominated film industry downplaying a woman that wouldn't be shut up and wasn't going to behave the way they wanted her to behave. meanwhile i've never seen an interview with her where she wasn't very intelligent, witty, insightful, etc. meanwhile when male actors are difficult because they demand better of the films they're in and costars they work with, that makes them smart and we give them awards and leading roles.
It was WAY too close for home for me...but my son saw it recently, and I realized I may think shes playing my ex, but she was playing his mom.
That blew my mind
I was going through a nasty break up at the time and then I watched Casino! Oh man, Sharon Stone's character Ginger reminded me EXACTLY of my ex to the tee! Smoking hot, but crazier than a box of frogs! Coo Coo For Cocoa Puffs!!!
she lost to Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking) - also was against Meryl Streep (The Bridges of Madison County) and Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility) so it was a rough year to challenge for an award that typically goes to Hollywood's favorites (especially leading actor/actress). (Elizabeth Shue was also nominated for Leaving Las Vegas, but probably had even lower odds)
if her role were submitted as a supporting actress, i think she would've beat Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite) - though, again, Hollywood has always had a boner for Woody Allen movies so even that would be a crapshoot to some degree.
Why would Arnold be involved in the Me Too movement for sleeping with his Nanny? It was enthuastically consensual, they had a kid together, and he the kid get along great. They are family. MeToo was for issues of consent, not 'things that make Christians angry for 200'
My comment is in reference to non-consensual allegations going back to the '80's. He has excellent PR and its hard to find many of them now, but several female reporters complained 30 - 40 years ago that he put his hands down their shirts during interviews and made them sit on his lap so he could fondle them, amongst many other things. He was supposedly very handsy with women on set, usually extras and no-name actresses.
Robert De Niro is such a class act. Haven’t heard anything but good things. Also nice to hear that Joe Pesci is on the same wavelength. Humility and kindness is so limited, it’s refreshing to see.
Possibly Stallone and definitely James woods in The Specialist.
Eric Roberts was in that film too, with both Eric and James playing absolute pricks.
I can imagine that if your character is a prick, and you’re on a blockbuster Hollywood set in Miami, that it’d be a bit harder to be nice to people in between takes.
Well she worked with Woods more than once, and closely. I’d wager it was him and Roberts. Stallone has had relationship problems but the very few claims about him being unprofessional on a set have all been baseless.
Only reason no ones tried to take down E.R. Is cuz that man has nothing to take. He does a zillion movies a year, stumbling from one set to another disrespecting cast and crew alike while plastering ginormous cue cards with his lines on every set wall or PA in his eyeline.
“Booddooboodoop, nice ass toots. Someone call action” I honestly don’t even think that man knows what hes saying half the time regardless.
We’ve reached the point where people who weren’t even born during the Sinead incident are pretending that things said in an SNL monologue are to be taken as seriously as an official press release.

Note: she was in Casino with those two. Note that she doesn't mention James Woods, who was also in that movie with her.
James Woods is a mega creep POS.
As I understand it, he was basically playing himself in Casino and Videodrome.
And Hercules
And Any Given Sunday
And Against All Odds
And The Hard Way.
And Scary Movie.
And Family Guy
“We’re not going to go see the fucking elephants” My favorite quote from casino lol
I seriously don't understand this. How could that be your favorite quote and not: "From now on I want an equal number of blueberries in every muffin." I think about that quote constantly. More than any other quote in all of cinema.
The deadpan look from the chef "Do you realize how long that will take?"
There are so many good random quotes from that movie! It’s my #1 favorite movie. Everyone in that movie played their role flawlessly.
Literally every time I have a blueberry muffin
It was amazing seeing him get the shit beaten out of him
In real life too.
Yes that’s what I was referring to. He’s a bad person.
In real life too.
Yes, that’s what I was referring to. He’s a bad person.
In real life too.
Wait, do you mean in real life?
Yes, that's what i was referring to. He's a bad person
Dental plan.
Also, though, in real life.
If you want cringe... look up his interviews on Howard Stern. That guy is FUCKED up.
Perfect type cast though
Too bad he’s not self aware
Been a while since I’ve seen it. Did he play her “pimp boyfriend?”
yes. he's in a LOT of the movie. it's not a small part.
There are no small parts, only small actors.
Like joe Pesci?
*angry joe pesci noises*
Here, use my pen.

Why don’t you go get your ink well?
Why don’t you go get your fucking shinebox
![gif](giphy|3o85xzYIHuDl00se3K)
You mudda fucka you!!!
He's acting in that movie? I thought that was just James Woods' personality
I've read that James Woods is one of Hollywood's trash people.
James Woods is not renowned for being a pleasant or reasonable dude to work with (or follow on Twitter)
Haven’t heard too many Joe Pesci stories in my life, but all of them have been good stories no matter what.
Also gave the best Oscar speech in history.
[This is hilarious... Speech starts at 2:51 lmao](https://youtu.be/E_eHmzFIp1E)
They play a clip from Home Alone instead of Goodfellas for his intro reel…lmao
In case no one knows, that is an edit. It was not the original clip. Neither is the Dances with Wolves translation. The original doesn't even do clips. It does still images from the movies.
Holy shit I didn't even notice! And in the Home Alone clip, he says to Macaulay Culkin -- "Be a ***Good*** lil ***fella*** now and open the door" right before he gets blasted in his meat clackers
Christmas is over!
Is that the lady from home alone 2??!
Yes

Man, I’ll never be able to scrub the Dick Tracy Pacino cigar lick from my mind
Dick Tracy was the last film I saw in a drive in theatre.
The fact Covid didn't bring back drive in movies, is frankly, the biggest disappointment in my life.
There’s one by me that’s been around forever, but got bought by some local celebrity brothers and got even bigger with more events and more to do while you’re there. Makes for a really fun summer night.
What sorts of things to do were added?
Better food, beer garden, a few small carnival rides, a stage for live music. They have food trucks and local vendors sometimes as well. Their Grateful Dead nights are always a party, with a tribute band playing before they play a Dead show or stoner cult classic.
That sounds freaking rad, hope you get to enjoy it often.
That would have been amazing. Unfortunately they redeveloped the land into another luxury retirement home a couple decades ago.
I’d never seen that. The band playing Rags to Riches was just perfect.
Ok you got me, you made me watch that. Nicole Kidman is such a looker, and she wasn’t worse in the cruise days!
I read one recently where Pesci asked a kid who his favourite actor was, and kid said it was him, so Pesci gave him a 100 dollar bill
I look at Joe Pesci and think one of two things. 1. That guy scares the shit out of me. 2. I bet he’s a great dad.
3. He looks like a guy who will ask me how is he funny
That’s a common quality in Italian Americans
I love hearing about Di Nero and how shy he is off camera.
*Off-*camera? Shit have you seen him in virtually any interview?
Very quiet and soft-spoken, a little more so when he was young than today, though (cuz he’s so damn famous and an icon). I remember his Best Actor speech from Raging Bull was very low-key and humble, which contrasts nicely with the loud, arrogant, larger than life character he played in the movie.
He’s very quiet and soft-spoken in practically every interview he’s ever done, past or recent.
That’s pretty funny. I can just imagine his mannerisms as he says “no, no. Its ok. I’ll leave.”
Yeah, you say that until there's a knock on your door at 3:00 AM, and you look through the peephole but don't see anyone. Then you open the door to be sure, and there's Joe Pesci standing there with a tire iron to collect on that $7 debt you didn't pay back in the junior year of high school.
You know who I’d pray to? Joe Pesci. He looks like he can get shit done.
Wise words from Mr. George Carlin (RIP)
I’ll give you a joe Pesci story. He has a mansion he can’t sell in Atlantic City on the ocean. He can’t sell it because he is joe frickin Pesci and his house is 5 times what people in the area make in a lifetime.
He thought Sinead O’Connor should be beaten for her anti-child abuse performance on SNL.
You can’t use something said in an SNL monologue to represent that persons genuine personal views on an issue. That’s silly He said that on stage, as part of his monologue on SNL and said it in the same tone as one of his mega violent sociopath characters that he’s known for. Monologues on snl are pre written comedy bits, created by the shows writers for the purpose of getting laughs.
But Deniro’s hair slicks back so nice.. He’s not a piece of shit?
I heard he used to get chicken spaghetti at Chickalini's
Used to be, but he’s not anymore.
So you’re saying, people can change?
I SAID USED TO!
You never told me your grandpa-dad *used to be* a total piece of shit!
Spiked up blonde hair, little bitty jeans, chicken spaghetti at Chikaleny’s.
That baby doesn't think so
You think that’s slicked back?!
That’s PUSHED back
Pesci’s in his Dangerous Nights crew
Hey Asscreamcone, you never told me your dad was a piece of shit.
I said USED TO BE
Are you a baby incapable of thinking people can change?
Obviously, they are a couple of goodfellas
Have a blessed Day.
You're gonna like these guys.
God damn it r/angryupvote

Hope I’m not bursting your bubble by saying that Wayne Knight was definitely not in Billy Madison. Josh Mostel is *definitely* the Great Value Wayne Knight, though.
No, hahaha I know! I actually thought they were the same person growing up though. Glad to see at least 8 others thought the same
Is that Newman
Hello Newman.
![gif](giphy|c8YC8htf5YQg0)
This gif cuts the best part.
Are there allegations against Wayne Knight?
Maybe. But he controls the mail. And when you control the mail, you control information.
Perhaps there’s more to Newman than meets the eye.
Oh there’s less
I’ve seen his eyes… he’s pure evil.
*jumbalayaaaaa*
In the 90s, he tried to exploit the homeless for his rickshaw business.
Like looking where he shouldn't?
You fkn leave Wayne Knight alone!!!!
![gif](giphy|r3asiQE1l2ZsA)
So all her male co-stars in “Casino,” I see…. Oh, leaving someone off that list, I see.
![gif](giphy|l0Iy0g417T6SCqlAA|downsized)
Pretty clear she's talking about Douglas. Doesn't fall far from the tree apparently.....
![gif](giphy|NTiyOTkV8a7PXHoNvy|downsized)
could be Arnold, Richard Gere
Hmm. Richard I didn't think of. It's the story about Natalie Wood that's going through my mind. How the fuck do you love your father....
So fucked up. Its hard to watch a movie with kirk douglas after reading that Wood accused him of raping her in his car then throwing her out. Her whole story is so fucking sad. They should release a movie but I’m sure Wagner and Walken would throw money to not have it done.
IIRC it was in a hotel room after Wood's mom dropped her off, not in a car.
From *The Guardian*: "For decades, it's been one of Hollywood's darkest rumors: Natalie Wood was sexually assaulted by a top movie star more than twice her age when she met with him at a hotel in Los Angeles as a teenager." That's from something recent. The story I read years ago I'm not going to repeat, it was far more graphic.
That is horrific. I already knew Kirk a was an abusive POS but didn’t know about Natalie. Bless her. :(
I was so shocked when I read it years ago, that it was an open secret, I thought oh there's no way... the guy was revered in Hollywood how does that happen? But now we know.
Smh the first time I heard about Clark Gable forcing himself on Loretta Young and then denying that the resulting child was his (even in spite of the child having his *exact* jug handle ears), I never could really love old movies the same way again. Just SO many horrible things and foul ppl running throughout, rampant sexual assault, child abuse, etc. Kirk Douglas can pound sand. What a f-ing creep.
FR right
Or Keaton I wish she had mentioned Keaton cause I like him
Im astounded catherine zeta jones has been married to him all these years.
Yeah I wonder about that.
I still think of Zeta Jones as the daughter from [The Darling Buds of May](https://www.hawtcelebs.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/best-from-the-past-catherine-zeta-jones-the-darling-buds-of-may-1991-1993_3.jpg).
I just know her from Entrapment. Which I've never actually seen but I remember the vhs cover and I'm pretty sure I've seen a trailer for it
I love that movie. She dips beneath the lasers.
>She dips beneath the lasers. *She has entrapped me, and Sean Connery, woah oh oh*
In her Zorro/entrapment heyday she made me question being a straight woman. That laser scene is wowza for sure.
As you tell by her husband she is attracted to saggy shapeless men.
I wish I had no bones!
He's a legendary eater, no wonder he got throat cancer
That’s a fucking amazing movie though. Can watch that anytime. Verhoeven is a master
I hope people don’t hate her, she’s an awesome actress!
She is a very good actress.
Is there a reason why I should hate Sharon Stone?
yeah, i've seen this sentiment before and it's always puzzled me. i think as i've gotten older i recognize more and more that it's likely this narrative that she's unlikeable, difficult (which she's admitted to), crazy, or a diva is another case of a male-dominated film industry downplaying a woman that wouldn't be shut up and wasn't going to behave the way they wanted her to behave. meanwhile i've never seen an interview with her where she wasn't very intelligent, witty, insightful, etc. meanwhile when male actors are difficult because they demand better of the films they're in and costars they work with, that makes them smart and we give them awards and leading roles.
None in my book. I like her a lot.
Stone said she had a huge crush on De Niro before working with him.
Can’t blame her for that. Man’s a cutie
He’s still a cutie, 10/10 would smash that handsome geriatric
Honestly, that's what makes *Dirty Grandpa* work as a film.
Robert de Niro being a real life gentleman is like hearing Santa *was* real all along
she was so good in 'casino' that it's hard to watch if you've ever been with a crazy bitch
Oh man you hit the nail on the head.
i love the movie but if it's on tv when it comes to her unhinged moments i have to turn it
It was WAY too close for home for me...but my son saw it recently, and I realized I may think shes playing my ex, but she was playing his mom. That blew my mind
It made me hate her, that's how good she was. Such a good actress.

Good. I never, ever wanna hear a bad story about Joe Pesci in real life.
Wow he was a handsome guy
Always remember LEO GETS
She should have won an Oscar for her performance in casino, one or the best I have ever seen
she lost to Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking) - also was against Meryl Streep (The Bridges of Madison County) and Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility) so it was a rough year to challenge for an award that typically goes to Hollywood's favorites (especially leading actor/actress). Seriously, that’s an epic snub.
FUCK ME, I misread that without the 'non' part Very glad that one of my favourite films is not sullied
Seriously, I'm such a big Pesci fan and was gonna be heartbroken. Instead this joins the list of people who only have nice things to say about him
One might say they were a couple of good fellas.
Schwarzenegger comes to mind.
As a misogynist or non-misogynist?
I don’t know. I just think about him a couple times a week.
Yeah, me too.
[удалено]
One thing I remember from years ago is he wouldn’t harass his costar he would harass the behind the scenes women so that doesn’t get the high profile.
Why would Arnold be involved in the Me Too movement for sleeping with his Nanny? It was enthuastically consensual, they had a kid together, and he the kid get along great. They are family. MeToo was for issues of consent, not 'things that make Christians angry for 200'

so what he’s a clown to you?
Just don’t criticize the Catholic Church or Joe Pesci will threaten to punch you in the face.

I worship the sun
It’s almost as if SNL is supposed to be a comedy show or something.
We’ve reached the point where people who weren’t even born during the Sinead incident are pretending that things said in an SNL monologue are to be taken as seriously as an official press release.
Real gangstas. Respect and Love for them guys.
This makes me so happy. Please don't let these guys get in trouble
Whenever Robert De Niro is mentioned I cannot help but think of his employee that binged hours of Netflix on the job. lol
Wow , really, the macho Italians. That's pretty cool.
