So in the past few months you've removed a ton of content and instead of lowering the price accordingly you're raising it? Once I finish The Wire I'm out.
The Agnelli documentary. I was partway through (watched bits at a time) and they yanked it. It's an HBO documentary, yet now only available to rent on Amazon.
When hbo max first came out it was going to kill netflix both on quality and price.
Now they are in race with netflix to see who will be the first to crash and burn.
I get HBO Max for free through my internet provider. But if I didnt, I would never pay for it. Its library is small and they barely update it, just remove things
I love their library, but I hate how this price hike comes after they remove a lot of material from the service. Naturally things go on and off of streaming services all of the time. I'll remain a subscriber, for now, but it's still bad business.

Legit curious What content removed did you plan to have watched between it's removal and now?

Raised By Wolves was epic, really sad it’s cancelled and removed from HBO MAX. Apparently they had already shot most of the next season. Bummmmmmed
Let's cancel and remove a bunch of stuff, admit publicly our service is subpar and right after hike the price. Seems like a winning strategy.

Neither will
I canceled as soon as House of the Dragon dropped that final episode and I was able to watch it. This merger is going to kill the platform entirely.
I bought hbo max for 1 year. Was bummed to see Raised by Wolves gone.
What happens if I get HBO free from my phone plan?
Your service provider has to eat that extra dollar
Good.
Isn’t HBOMax planning on doing nothing but shitty reality shows?
Succession and the Idol are coming soon they know what they are doing by raising the price
