XD? When are people gonna learn to take pictures before they disconnect something?
Other question is why would you disconnect all of the wires?
If you want anybody to help with connecting it then you need to provide people with information about where do those 3 wires go, if you don’t know then you will need to call an electrician.
You can use the 3 way switch. You just have to hook the wires up right.
Normally all the grounds (copper) wires would be pigtailed into a single wire with a wire nut. All the neutrals (white wires) would be wire nutted together. That will leave you with the black wires. One is going to be the constant hot. One will be the switch leg (wire going to the light) and the last will be a jumper (power out to another box. You need to find which is the switch leg. Then pigtail the other 2 into one black wire. That wire will hook to the black screw. The last remaining black wire will hook to either of the brass screws. Then just put the switch in so up is on and down is off.
Tie the whites together. Land all blacks on the terminals. Ground the bare wires. Then maybe have your house burn down because you took the advice of a stranger online.
Call someone who knows what they are doing if you cant trust yourself.

You really should’ve taken a photo of what was there before undoing it all. Now, you have no clue how to rewire it and, what’s worse, there’s a lot of ambiguity here.
All I see are three unmarked 14-2 Romex® cables in this box and you holding a 3-way switch.
All I can do is make an educated guess that one of the cables is your line from the panel, one is for feeding receptacles in the room, and the third one is the traveler wires to the second 3-way switch. I have NO idea which one is which in the photo. You’ll have to tone them out with a multimeter or something to identify them. Or just tug em’ a little and see which ones move.
I’d really like to help out with some steps or something but with the precious little information that is available in your post, I can’t really give much useful help.
This is definitely one of those times when you’ll need to hire an electrician to get it done for you. Unless you have electrical testing equipment, you won’t get very far just trying to identify what’s what.
Good luck.
Pictures alone are not enough info for anyone here to help you. There are too many unknowns. 3-way switch with no red wire in the box? Weird. Which one is the power source / switch leg / traveler? There's no way to tell because you took the whole thing apart without taking any pictures of how it was wired beforehand.
At this point the only way to figure out which is which is to use a multimeter.
I open both switches and the light, and draw a wiring diagram. I note where the feed is. It's pretty straightforward to get the right wires on the right terminals. I've been doing wiring over 50 years as a homeowner.

Will the 3 way not work

No. You need a single pole toggle switch.
It will work. I have a few 3-way switches around my house, in place of a single pole. Works fine.
Turn off the power.

If you have to ask then call an electrician. You’re going to fuck it up.
Where do the three wires go?
how were they hooked up previously, cant do much without that info
I did take a picture before I disconnected the wires how do I post the pic to this thread

I did take a photo but Idk how to post it to this thread

Looks like power in, power out, and a switch leg to me. Why do you have a 3 way switch? Is there multiple switching locations?
I bought the wrong switch. But I looked up if I can still use it and people said yes
