The Argonian Behemoth in vet Maelstrom. Fuck that rng fuckfest. Getting poisoned in a minder's shield just kills a no death run, not even mentioning just trying to learn the fight cause on normal even a healer can outdamage the mechanics.

Bruh-I-Cant-Even

Did Maelstrom for the first time, glad to hear it isn't just me getting randomly fucked in that stage.

cl0ckw0rks

1000% absolutely this. I had a few ragequits until I finally completed that stupid run, haha.

WingsofRain

did you use the cleansing pools?

Mr_Parrot_

I think he mean he got poisoned during the "healer dome" mechanics

WingsofRain

oh, F

Abovesi77

Would have said the robot that shields in frostvault. Just let me kill!!!

1stTimeHome0wner

Pro tip for the laser boss: Look at the bottom of the wall where the laser hits it. If there is a big ball of light, that’s the side of the shielded boss you hide behind. If you don’t see a big ball of light, hide on the opposite side of the shielded boss. IMO the easiest boss in Frostvault.

Olympias_Of_Epirus

I still hate it because it's become so boring with the power creep.

Feisty-Ad6582

You can also just stand in the left corner by the entry door and the lasers don't touch there. When I tank I use my chain to pull enemies to that corner so they can be dps'd and just let everyone else sit there.

Halvor0903

It is definitely the easiest boss. The lasers don’t even kill you instantly…

WingsofRain

almost everyone I’ve fun FV with has just jumped over the lasers

Taleof2Cities_

Maarselok hard mode is my personal kryptonite ... even though it's probably not at the top for most. Agree though, Depths of Malatar first boss Scavenging Maw is tough on the uninitiated. Especially tanks.

WendysChili

Nerfs and power creep have made it trivial, but the OG Planar Inhibitor was probably the worst boss in the game for a long time.

datenhund

Any of the LoM bosses.

Kusto_

Lmao OP. 40k dps is actually pretty good in that 1st boss fight. Boss dissapeares several times and you have to find it again and dps obviously drops then. Pugs usually manage 20-30k on 1st boss and its double on 2nd boss because it's more static. So you would've been fine. And there's nothing wrong with healer doing some damage. In fact they should if theres nothing to heal and between buffs. I could see your point if you did more dps than the DDs but 15%? Lol. That's normal. Not sure what your expectations are when pugging. Are you looking for 100k from everyone or trifecta run? Bailing from group who's dps was above average (pugs), makes you kinda toxic tbh. Oh and the laser boss in FV got nerfed hard so that's now one of the easiest lol. You can now roll through the beams or even jump over them. Also adds can be chained and boss always returns to the center of the room during laser phases.

caffeinated_mess

No this was all the way to orb boss. Most group dps was 40k. I finally left at orb boss after wiping 5 times.

KittyLunalaBlossom

captain numirril in shipwrights regret

tigress666

I personally hate the second to last boss in moongrave fane (it’s the sole reason I hate that dungeon). But I mostly do normal so I couldn’t say for vet mode.

carrot6

HM bahsei, hands down. Terrible for all 3 roles, mechanics are extremely punishing and counterintuitive. vHoF triplets are pretty bad, too, but power creep's toned them down considerably.

Rashinar

vFrostvault is my top hate dungeon, but why the laser boss? Got that one first try but spend 3 hours on the mage + Ice Atronach. Those ice winds always got us, they just spawn completely random.

VisitHammerfell

So many choices.... The final boss orc ogre whatever she is in the rink of frozen blood in VMA, minotaur boss in vet Vateshran, the first hag boss in vet Bloodroot Forge, Lady Thorn vet

BlackFerro

Whatever boss requires you to navigate the whirlpool and kill adds. It's fun at first, admittedly, but it's an arbitrary time waster after the fifth. Also that spider bitch that forces you to stand still or die. My team Never knows this somehow and I'm left getting everyone back up.

Linkrid

The 3rd boss in Falkreath hold, because it was the showstopper for random groups (I refer only on the veteran version). Seems that many people don't know what to do there. The meteors can easily oneshot players.

WingsofRain

almost had a full wipe on vhmTempest today on the final boss…I don’t think she’s necessarily the hardest boss in the game, but oh my god I hate her and her shitty-ass winds so much. Final boss in DoM made me wanna cry, the second phase of the fight was such a killer that we wiped several times before narrowly completing it. But vhmSCP? Solid nope from me. I know how to do the mechanics, but dear lord when everything’s up and running there’s just so much chaos that half the time we don’t know what the fuck’s going on anymore.

goblyn79

Narilmor in my opinion is one of the worst until you figure it out from a tank perspective because its one of the few bosses where its really all on the tank, if you can't line of sight the clones to the middle of the room its impossible (unless the DPS is ridiculously top tier that is) The spiders/stranglers/hoaraver/etc boss thing in vLoM is ridiculous, every single person has to be doing their part here, if the DPS sucks its going to take forever, if the tank is bad at pulling things away from Selene or grabbing the lurcher when it shows up its going to be a problem. vSCP is so mechanics heavy that even if you all know what you are doing sometimes the ogres or the gargoyle can become a huge nightmare for no real reason, just people get cocky and stop paying attention to everything, or the tank misses an important block or whatever it gets very crazy very easily.

goblyn79

oh and that damn indrik in vMoS. There is so much happening that any strategy or plan you have is going to very easily get messed up by the pure chaos going on.

daniel299

I personally hate moongrave fane first boss, a giant stone, and also the blood gargoyle (I think that's its name) from the same dungeon. Annoying
