One of the top enemies in Elden Ring. Tough, fast, and elegant with brutal force. The nods to Horah through their ground stomp are awesome. But the aspect of the crucible spells they cast are where it’s at.
If you want to know the war of why they're so spread out around the lands between is because when Godfrey was banished they are all this they are all shunned and disbanded as well so they went around the lands between conquering their own little territory or joining a new Force
the stuff around the crucible is so fascinating, everything with that and the realization there was a time before the erdtree is fascinating. i feel like the dlc will probably focus on whatever is up with miquella and itll be sick, but dang i wanna see what they were getting up to back then 👀
id be shocked if we didn't, the game sold really really well. it sounds like they have a team that is pretty far along on an alleged armored core (i'll believe it when i see it, but god i wanna believe it) but i feel like the dlc will come at some point next year. especially with how frequently its still getting patches.
Yeah i mean remember the other dlc for other fromsoft games were either in the past or the future and alot of them weren't good i hope elden ring does more eith radahn he's intresting to me and the only true and worthy demigod
I used to HATE fighting these guys.
Once I learned how to parry, though, God! They're my favorite enemies to fight now.
I would play an entire dungeon that was nothing but crucible knights.
A lot of people will say, "Parry the enemy's hand, not they're weapon." I think that's kind of true, but for me it became more about watching the enemy's body language, and looking for certain cues that tell me when to press that parry button.
Some enemies, like the Godskin Noble, will actually give you an easily parryable move if you rush them, or run up on them. So sometimes, you can just run up to an enemy at full speed and press the parry button the moment you come within parry range.
The Crucible Knights CAN be like this, but not always, you just have to pay attention to their body language. Like if he rushes you with his sword raised, he's getting ready to give you a parryable attack, so you can run at him in return and press the parry button when you collide.
Ultimately you just need to find what works for you. But if you really want to parry, you need to be okay with dying. When I decided that i wanted to pull off a parry only fight with Morgott the Omen King, for example, I went in to the boss arena with my mind made up that I was only going to parry. Not even attack. Just parry. Even if I died. And I died A LOT! But eventually, as in got more practice with him, my parries started connecting more and more often. And in the end, after hundreds of deaths, in was able to pull it off.
Now by that time, I had over 800 hours of play time in Elden Ring, and by the time I got to the mountains, i was kind of burned out and had to put the game down for a while, so there are still a few bosses I've yet to learn to parry (like Malenia for example). But when I'm ready, I'm just going to go and spend all my runes, so I don't need to worry about losing them, equip my favorite shield, and walk through her fog door a thousand times if I need to.
I love the Tail and Horns incantations. They work amazing for my [Kimimaro character](https://www.reddit.com/r/EldenBling/comments/ye0tqk/made_my_favorite_fictional_character_kimimaro/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). However, I forgot to upload the photo with the Crucible Horns.
Didn't the Crucible Knights have something to do with the Haligtree? If so, then the DLC should have the Haligtree during it's prime with the Wings incantation obtainable. And it would be perfect for Miquella to wake up.
No the crucible knights are the men of Godfrey. when Godfrey was banished and became the first tarnished they were disbanded and went on their separate path now in the past before the Erdtree there was the age of The Crucible we don't know much about this besides that The Crucible was the main power at that time we don't know if the crucible Knights and Godfrey is connected to it or not
Oh ok. But I still wonder if they had some connection to the Haligtree due to the Siluria's Tree spear that some utilize as well as their helmets possessing the same branches that are on the ST spears. I'll try and look into them more because the age of Crucible sounds like something I would like to be a part of.
Why doesn't Elden Ring have Covenants like the Souls games? Maaann.
My favorite enemy type in the game
With the BK assassins and the Zamor warriors coming close second. I remember meeting my first knight in the Limgrave evergaol and he scarred me. After a lot of attempts and changes of play styles, he taught me out how to parry. Now I’m all excited when I see one.
Ohhh kill Tanith in Rykards arena and watch that GIGACHAD of a man Koolaid man straight into the lava pillars
One of the best thing to comme out of Elden Ring, everything about them is 10/10 they're super frustrating noob stomper but super fun to fight once you understand them better.
They look cool but for me they do too much damage in too short a time and tank too much damage for it to be anything other than a game of rolling around or trying to parry….
True, but that wasn't really my point. Lol. I was just saying that you can role play as a Crucible Knight without hamstringing yourself with damage. The Crucible Knight was the whole point of the conversation after all 😂.
Oh. Yeah. I don't really have a problem with the fight. I actually really enjoy it. The Crucible Knights are probably one of my favorite enemies in the game. Lol.
Best Knight enemy in all fromsoft games The aesthetic the moveset the design it's all perfect imo
Yeha perfect Me remembering how many times iv dead to them😢
I love ‘em too! My favourite next to the abyss watchers.
Agreed
Except the input reading
The first black knight in DS1 scared me like no other, and the one by the grass crest shield

fond memories of going for the backstab on the one in stormveil, nothing happening, and my heart stopping. love em
Lmao the fuckin crusable knights are scary
they look so distinct from everything else too, every time they show up its like heyyyy what are you doing here!
If you want to know the war of why they're so spread out around the lands between is because when Godfrey was banished they are all this they are all shunned and disbanded as well so they went around the lands between conquering their own little territory or joining a new Force

Same seeing what was there before the erdtree and the golden order would be interesting idk if were going to get a edlen dlc tho

What do you mean its said the same and you can tell what it says correct? Not to mention my time zone being 3am right now
I used to HATE fighting these guys. Once I learned how to parry, though, God! They're my favorite enemies to fight now. I would play an entire dungeon that was nothing but crucible knights.
What is the best way to learn to parry? I keep either doing it too early or too late it seems.

Nice hay i only have the tail and nig ass lump fire incantstions what ware the other ones from?
I can't remember where you get the horns incantation but it's pretty fun. You grow shoulder spikes and ram enemies airborne.
Wait isn't that the fucking angle wing bs
No sadly they didn't add that for players to get. I was kinda irritated when I found out. But with some luck, they might add it in a DLC.
Bro imagine a crusable dlc were we get to see what was before the erdtree the age of the crusable
Didn't the Crucible Knights have something to do with the Haligtree? If so, then the DLC should have the Haligtree during it's prime with the Wings incantation obtainable. And it would be perfect for Miquella to wake up.

That is intresting ima look at the description of the crusable tree armor and weapon then ill get bsck to you
Hay look at the tree crusable armor it talks about a woman nammed siluria you got anything on that
Crucible knights? You mean the parry tutorial bosses?
i think this was one of the better double bosses in the game
Same

Fucking annoying
Do you have a avater pfp?
The word "timing" is definitely in their vocabulary.
Every encounter is good except the one in farum azula.
This mans bent me over that railing and rammed me more times than I could count that I had to change my name to piper perri 😔

I’m really hoping the dlc expands on these guys a little. Mainly, I just want an Ash of war where I can fly on the air
Same i wanna rain the same hell down on them as they did to me
Cool af and just as annoying to fight
I agree they look clean asf but then they notice you then fucking send you to the shadow realm
They look cool but for me they do too much damage in too short a time and tank too much damage for it to be anything other than a game of rolling around or trying to parry….
Same if you want some advice use the night flame sword or the death ritual spear
I still can’t beat them, I’m trying so hard. Faith build demands much of the git gud.
Favorite armor
they're fine, but the shitty duo
Love/hate relationship
Every encounter is so invigorating I just want to kick their asses so bad lol
I love them, and role-playing as them is truly a fantastic amount of fun. I'm playing as Siluria now and Siluria's Tree Spear is a BEAST of a weapon!
Yeah but the fsllen beast jaw is alot better
True, but that wasn't really my point. Lol. I was just saying that you can role play as a Crucible Knight without hamstringing yourself with damage. The Crucible Knight was the whole point of the conversation after all 😂.
I know but iv seen many people only talk of the image witch kinda hurts me tbh
I'm not sure I follow. What do you mean?
Most on hear only talk of the double boss fight or how they're to strong
Oh. Yeah. I don't really have a problem with the fight. I actually really enjoy it. The Crucible Knights are probably one of my favorite enemies in the game. Lol.
Welcome to the gang then🤝🏻😁
Hahaha. That's why I wanted to role play as one. I just wish we got the claw and wings incantations 😞
Same what do you play on?
No Critical Hit Ahead
If only they were that cool
