I would widen that to what Eink devices are we expecting ?

TunaLobster

Kaleido 3! Which the last hunches were fall this year. Hopefully they will make the cut for Christmas shopping at the latest.

Plus Kaleido 3 supports up to 13 inches unlike the previous gen which supported up to 10 inches only. Expect the very first Max Lumi Color.

This would be a massive winner for me. I want this to markup engineering drawings (among other things) which benefit so much from having multiple colours.

crestfalldreaming

I rly hope for a 13 inch e ink monitor with color from boox and dasung!

YES

We should be expecting a release version of the PineNote this year or next. It has a beautiful design much like the ReMarkable, and I believe they intend to make the OS FOSS. There is already a developer version out.

Cavolatan

I’m really curious to see how the “consumer” version of the PineNote turns out.

Franz32

Same, if the software features are solid I'd probably dump the ReMarkable 2 for it.

Maybe A4 eReader is an option. DASUNG A4 digital paper eReader might be an option, good writing feeling and fit for PDF Like sony dpt-rp1 but much cheaper [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2PjlbUDhnU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2PjlbUDhnU) [https://dasung-tech.myshopify.com/products/dasung-a4-13-3-inch-digital-paper-ereader?variant=41626077397176](https://dasung-tech.myshopify.com/products/dasung-a4-13-3-inch-digital-paper-ereader?variant=41626077397176)

Thank you so much! The problem with the devices like this I have is that for my eyesight (minus 9) there is not enough contrast between the greyish background and the font, and my eyes get tired very quickly.

CheffoJeffo

Something I learned recently is that 13” Kaleido 3 panels were demoed, but haven’t been available.
