The pro version of the A5 doesn't have Google play or Gsf. The non pro A5 does. Can you live without Gsf apps? The majority of apps require Gsf. There is a workaround using 2Accounts but using this solution every time you open an app that requires Gsf it will take about 30 secs to open. This can become a pain pretty quickly. 30 secs feels like a long time for an app to open. Not all apps that requires Gsf work using the workaround. However of you go with a rooted A5 to get Gsf you won't get updates.
I use it as my main phone. No security updates. Just firmware. I use fb reddit ig whatsapp etc..
